The house and location were phenomenal. The house looked just as the pictures. It was short drive into Santa Fe. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful secluded space close to town.

STAY HERE!!!!!!! An AMAZING house outside of Santa Fe where you live in the mountains. The house is stunning! Well equipped. The backyard is a lifesaver with a dog. The owners live up the hill, so they are handy with any issues of which, I had none. Will stay here again when I visit Santa Fe in the future.

This location was perfect and the home itself is stunning! Very well designed and furnished and made me feel right at home. Close enough to town for shopping and dining, but nestled in the hills for seclusion. Coming back at night we overshot the turn a couple times because of the way the road is angled and the street signs being not very visible. A tiny solar light at the base would have been helpful. We would definitely return for a relaxing getaway in the pines. We very much enjoyed our time there.

First Time in Santa Fe

The property was exactly as advertised. I absolutely loved the artwork, architecture, and design within — every detail was thoughtfully curated. The casita was fully stocked with everything you’d need to feel completely at home. I can’t say enough about the location — the beautiful, unobstructed vistas were truly breathtaking. A perfect stay in every way. Staying here made for a wonderful 28th anniversary!

Happy at the Happy Ram

We love this house. We enjoyed two nights of stargazing and excellent food from El Nido down the road. Wonderful private mountain house getaway. Quiet and serene. Everything you need is at the Happy Ram.

Happy Ram Stay

Really enjoyed our stay at the Happy Ram. The bouquet of roses on the dining table was a nice welcome . The patio was wonderful to sit out during the cool evening. This was one of the best places I have ever stayed. Will book again if I'm ever back in Santa Fe

Peaceful Luxury in Tesuque – A Perfect Getaway

We had a fantastic stay at the Happy Ram! The property is a perfect blend of comfort and elegance — spacious, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully furnished with luxurious touches throughout. It offered the perfect amount of privacy, nestled in a serene location that made us feel like we had our own little retreat in the hills.Communication with Janelle was excellent from start to finish. She was responsive, welcoming, and made the whole process seamless, including accommodating an early arrival.We truly didn’t want to leave and are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommend the Happy Ram for anyone seeking a peaceful, upscale escape in the Tesuque area.

We loved our stay at Happy Ram. An architectural gem of elegant simplicity, beauty and calm, with every modern luxury. Just a 15-min drive to downtown Santa Fe, along a sleepy back road that passes by the Tesuque Village Market, so it’s convenient to necessities and yet it feels faaar away from it all. Welcoming and friendly hosts responded quickly to questions and requests. One note about the view: It’s ideal if you want to feel like part of the landscape, nestled in the piñons and surrounded by rolling hills. We spent hours on the back patio watching the sun move over the landscape, and the storm watching and stargazing were wonderful. But if you’re expecting a view of the far-off Santa Fe city lights, the best place to see them is from a trail above the house, not from the house itself. The inside/outside living is on the north side of the house.

This place is just beautiful. My compliments to the designer. It’s aesthetically perfect. The location is fantastic. Close enough to town to be convenient. Far enough away for comfort. If the casino is your thing it’s 5 minutes away. Great stay! Love that we could park in the garage!! Thanks so much!

Beautiful spot, great communication

The property itself is beautiful, and the entire house is very intentionally designed. The living room opens with big doors to the back area and was really nice to have open. The location is quite removed and away from the city’s noise, and was very peaceful and quiet outside. The owners sent all check in communication very proactively and were easy to reach and coordinate with during the arrival process. Highly recommend overall! When next in Santa Fe I will intentionally search for this listing’s availability first!

Amazing Property!

My husband and I recently visited the Happy Ram with our daughter for four nights. It was an absolutely wonderful property! It was a very private property with stunning views of the mountains from the patio and living room and kitchen. The property was very peaceful and quiet. The home was exceptionally well decorated and had all the items we needed to either enjoy a drink on the back patio or cook a meal. There are walking trails in the neighborhood and you are about 10 minutes from Santa Fe. We also hiked the Santa Fe ski area which is close. This was one of the nicest VRBO properties we’ve rented. We would definitely return!
