We are, of course, sorry for the plumbing blockage affecting Bedroom 4 at the very end of your stay. While unfortunate, we were grateful that it arose only as your visit was coming to a close and therefore had only limited impact on your overall holiday. Dear Judith Thank you for your review. With regard to the beach, the West Coast has recently had some large storms that have adversely affected all the beaches. This has happened once before in the eleven years since buying the house and it will replenish. It was a shame that it had not returned in time for your stay. Dear Mr Yoder, Thank you for your review. We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Camden Nook. The house is our second home and we love Barbados and make our guests experience as amazing as possible. Our check list is extensive and we have pictures sent of the house in readiness prior to each stay to make sure that the house is in tip top condition. I was surprised to hear about the hot tub as we have it maintained twice a week and I am very sorry if there was an issue with it . On speaking to Wendy she assured me that maintenance was called as soon as a problem was highlighted and it was rectified. Regarding the garden lighting I am confused, the lights are solar and pushed into the ground so perhaps they were effected during a stormy night as this can happen, however they should of been re levelled the very next day. We have a great team at Camden Nook and we offer one of if not the best beach front houses for the price on the West Coast. We pride ourselves in our reputation and myself and Wendy are always to hand should there be any issue, question or recommendations. I understand from speaking to Wendy that she supplied wet suits for your family during your stay and as usual went above and beyond to help guests have a great experience..We want you to have the perfect holiday experience.

The west coast of Barbados suffered unusually high swells last winter (2012/3) and as a result many of the restaurants suffered damage (Mullins, Lone Star, Sandy Lane etc). The beach is now fully restored however as a precaution for the future we have built steps below the current beach level to give access should this happen again. A/C is installed to all the bedrooms as clearly stated. Should a guest require any additional amenities we will always do our best to arrange them in order to make the stay as fabulous as it can be.
