This well-appointed beach cottage comfortably sleeps six providing an affordable vacation home for you and your family. A deck off the living room is a nice place to enjoy a steaming cup of coffee each morning or take a few steps to the upper deck. Here you can almost reach out and touch the sky while basking in the beauty of the partial ocean view. Direct beach access is a mere 3-minute walk from the house. Valhalla’s personal touches will instantly make you feel as though this Kitty Hawk paradise was designed just for you.

CHECK-IN time is 4 p.m. and CHECK-OUT is by 10 a.m. Early check-in and late check-out MAY be available IF the cottage is not rented before/after your stay.
This is a NON-SMOKING cottage.
Pets are NOT permitted.
AGE -- No persons under the age of 25 are permitted to use the cottage unless accompanied by parents or a spouse.
RV's-- No Recreational Vehicles or hook-ups allowed on the premises. The house is designed to accommodate a maximum of 6 tenants, not including infants.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY-- Maximum number of guests is limited to 6. Beds are available for six (one queen, one full size and two twin beds). Please give us the breakdown of your group so we may provide the appropriate linens.
LINENS--Are provided by the owners at no additional charge. Please strip the sheets from each bed and place them in the laundry bin in the lower level. Also, please neatly place the top cover on its respective bed.
BATH TOWELS—Are provided by the owners at no additional cost. Please place the used towels in the laundry bin in the lower level.
SEPTIC SYSTEMS are used throughout the Outer Banks and generally are very effective. However, they will clog if improper material is flushed or deposited in sinks. If plumbing repairs are necessary and it is determined that improper materials have been flushed, the guests will be responsible for the plumbing bill.
LAUNDRY FACILITIES & GAS GRILL--Are provided as a convenience. Should they break down owners will make every effort to have them repaired. This is not grounds for a refund. Grill may ONLY be used on driveway and AWAY from the house per NC Law.
CANCELLATIONS will be accepted with a sixty (60) day notice and all fees paid will be returned, with the exception of a $50 processing fee. Cancellations that are made less than sixty (60) days prior to arrival will be refunded only if the property is re-rented. Early departure does not warrant any refund of rent.
TRASH PICK-UP is on Monday and Thursday. Please take the trashcan to the street the night before as pick-up is very early.
PAYMENT of a deposit of one-half the rental fee plus one half taxes is required to confirm the reservation. The remainder is due 60 days prior to arrival. Payment can be made by check to Jack Crimmins, P.O. Box 16619, Chesapeake, VA 23328 or by credit card online through VRBO.
DOOR LOCK--Please provide the four digit code you would like to use to access the house __ __ __ __
STORM POLICY--Hurricanes do affect the Outer Banks. If there is a mandatory evacuation by Dare County, renters must leave the area and cannot re-enter until the evacuation order is lifted. There are no refunds given for voluntary or mandatory evacuations. We encourage renters to consider trip/travel insurance that would reimburse for vacation days missed. The owners will try to extend vacation time or offer other dates if at all possible.
FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS will be subject to forfeiture of advance payments and the party will not be permitted to check-in or remain in the cottage.
Climbing on the roof is grounds for immediate eviction with NO refund.
The owners of VALHALLA are not responsible for any accident, injury or illness that occurs while on the premises. The owners are not responsible for the loss or theft of personal belongings or valuables of the guests. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.
During the off-season we require a minimum three night stay during the week or a two night stay over the weekend.
