Why owner chose Paris Arr. 6 (Latin Quarter, St. Germain)

We've always lived in this great area.

Guestbook comments from the owner

This place is fabulous. I'd describe it as "funky chic;" I've lived in Paris and this is the BEST, absolutely the BEST location right in the heart of St. Germain. Walk to breakfast at the Flore; walk to lunch at Lipp or the Comptoir. The apartment is TOTALLY quiet, a respite from Paris after a day spent bustling around. The Marche du Buci is steps away for everything from croissants to organic vegetables to exotic cheeses; you will never have to take a cab except if it's raining and you want to go somewhere on the right bank. The apartment is PARISIAN through and through -- not Americanized in any way, by that I mean, the kitchen is small with a little fridge and a convection oven/microwave, and the bathroom is smallish, though with a tub. Other than that, it's divine and it totally grows on you with the garden, which you can access from the downstairs bedroom, and a wall of windows looking out on trees and sky, and a quaint 18th century cobblestone courtyard. It's a great place. I would not stay anywhere else in Paris.

Absolutely Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

Having travelled to Paris 15 years ago, we wanted to rent an apartment again since our two teenage daughters were joining us. The apartment's location was perfect, with shops and cafes right around the corner. Paul's became our favorite morning stop for cafe and croissants! Everything is so close yet the apartment was so quiet and peaceful. The pictures and description are very accurate and you really have everything you need. The girls were thrilled to have their own space downstairs especially since the room can be made up with two twin beds. We all had plenty of room. The owners and management agency were wonderful to work with. This place is a gem and hopefully our travels will bring us back to Paris one day and we can stay here once again!

Wonderful apartment !

  • 5 of 5

My dear friends had stayed at this lovely apartment last summer and highly recommended we stay here for our family (with two high school age sons). It was wonderful stay for our family. It all s started with Larbi greeting us at the apartment and making sure we were situated in the apartment. The apartment had well-equipped amenities (wifi, tv. to well-equipped kitchen)

The apartment was lovely on a quiet street but in a great location- close to the Louvre, Musee D'Orsay and the metro. We found some restaurants in the neighborhood to eat too!. Julie, the owner was terrific communicating regarding questions related to the apartment and logistics. Our family would definitely stay there again when we're in Paris. Thank you for allowing to stay at your apartment Julie!

You will love this apartment

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay. Perfect location. Wonderful neighborhood with tons of restaurants and stores close by. You can easily walk to most places of interest or just jump on metro. We had our two teenagers with us and having the downstairs for them to hang out and have their own space was great.

We would definitely stay at this apartment again.

One thing to note. On hot days the apartment does get warm. It does not get direct sun so it is not bad and was not an issue for us but something to keep in mind if you are a person that needs AC.

We didn't want to leave! Great Flat! Great service! Great location!

  • 5 of 5

The flat is stylishly decorated french eclectic which we appreciate a lovely ambience. Everything you need is in the flat. The area of Saint Germaine de Pres is superb. Restaurants and beautiful shops all around you. And I cannot say enough about Raffaella the representative. She was extremely helpful and attentive. THANK YOU RAFFAELLA!

Quiet, Safe, Vivacious

  • 5 of 5

Four of us adults stayed in the apartment at " a little gem in St. Germaine des Paris" for 2 weeks and had a wonderful time. The apartment is hidden off the street as it sits at the back of the building with trees and birds just outside the long french windows. This makes for a private, quiet stay. The charming decor, upstairs/downstairs bedrooms worked very well for us. The kitchen is tiny, but works amazingly well-we prepared most of our meals here.

The location is the best. The neighborhood is a bit touristy but this makes it feel safe and vital with people having fun til late in the evening. Walking to The Louvre, The Musee d'Orsay, The Cluny Museum, The Delacroix Museum(just around the corner from the apartment), the river, bridges, Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens was easy and enjoyable.

Larbi, our greeter, was very sweet and informative and helped us arrange taxi service (the driver was professional and kind) back to the airport. I loved staying here and would definitely stay again.

Oh So French

  • 5 of 5

This charming apartment was everything we imagined. Although small (not necessarily by Parisian standards), the space was well laid out and perfect for two people to have their own private space. There was plenty of storage and the kitchen was adequate for a decent breakfast and coffee in the morning. Better still, the combo washer/dryer was a godsend.

It was located on a quiet street and the swanky St. Germaine de Pres neighborhood and the unit had its own private courtyard-garden. In fact, it was so quiet you would almost forget you were in one of the largest and most bustling cities in the entire world. It was within walking distance to the Louvre and many other famous Parisian sites...location, location, location! And the price was right!! I would highly recommend this place for two people who are sharing costs; you cannot beat it.
