We're so glad you enjoyed the cabin, its location, and found everything clean and charming. We appreciate you staying with us and hope to welcome you back for another Smoky Mountain getaway!
The cabin was very clean and cute. It was exactly as pictured. We visited in the middle of September and the temps were in the mid 90's. The mini split and ceiling fans kept the cabin cool. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were a little limpy but they were fine. The towels were a good size and absorbent. We enjoyed our time at the cabin and would definitely book it again.

Thank you for the great review! We’re glad the cabin was just as you expected and that you stayed comfortable, even with the September heat. We appreciate the feedback on the pillows as well and are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay overall. We’d love to have you back again!
This little cabin is the cutest!! Very private, cozy and plenty of space. Definitely will be back. The only thing that I would suggest changing is the pillows. They have LOTS of lumps.

The location is great, privacy but not too far from all area attractions. Our 2 dogs were able to explore. The bungalow was very clean and just like advertised.

The cabin was so cute! The lights welcomed us when we arrived. Everything we needed was provided as stated in the add. Very clean. Pet friendly, even had cute bowls for the pets. Also, very quiet, could hear no car noise. We will be back.

Debbie, thank you so much for the kinds words! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and we hope to welcome you again soon!
Nice cabin. Very peaceful. There are no glasses for drinking, only coffee mugs. All kitchen items are minimal, but enough for 2. The check out instructions need updating as the reference the dishwasher which is nonexistent. The hot tub is horrible. Was cold and would not work when we arrived but the maintenance guy came and got it on, but the jets are super weak. It’s like a large bathtub. We did enjoy our stay and it is close to the main town area.
Our stay at this cozy cabin in the woods was exactly the peaceful escape we were hoping for. The cabin perfectly captured that warm, inviting “one-room cabin” atmosphere reminiscent of the rustic charm seen in The Madison—simple, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to make you feel instantly at home. The ambient lighting throughout the cabin created an incredibly relaxing and cozy setting, especially in the evenings when the soft glow complemented the surrounding forest views. Whether enjoying a quiet morning coffee or unwinding after a day of exploring, the space felt intimate, serene, and perfectly suited for reconnecting with nature. The cabin was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay while still preserving its authentic woodland charm. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with cozy vibes, beautiful surroundings, and a memorable cabin experience, this is a place we would gladly return to and highly recommend.A special thank you to the hosts for welcoming our dogs, who are truly our four-legged children and an important part of our family adventures. Finding such a beautiful place that embraces furry family members made our stay even more meaningful and memorable.

For my part, I made the mistake of renting from a company rather than personal hosts. Photos on Vrbo are misleading to the actual cabin. Upon arrival, the driveway is an absolute mess. A regular car will drag and possibly get stuck. The front yard had limbs, piles of leaves and even a few pieces of garbage. The tiny remote fire pit appeared as if it was picked up from a dump and sitting on a muddy, uneven (small) hillside. The screen doors were ripped beyond repair so you can't enjoy the fresh air. We had to contact Bear Tootin Rustic Vacations with issues every day. The air conditioner didn't work and a maintenance guy had to come around 10:00 at night. The bed pillows were so lumpy...good thing I bring my own! There is absolutely no cleaning products in the cabin. The thing I found odd was the cabin had an iron board and iron, but NO blowdryer! The owner of Bear Tootin claimed his hand were tied because of the actual cabin owners. There were other issues that made are time there somewhat regrettable. In summary, I highly suggest seeking a rental from personal hosts.
The bungalow was adorable and in a great location. The home was nicely appointed with necessities only thing that was missing was a hairdryer. We were able to walk into town to get some small grocery items and go to restaurants. Attractions, driving trails and hiking were a short drive.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We’re so happy to hear that you enjoyed the bungalow, its location, and the convenience of being able to walk into town for groceries and restaurants. It sounds like you were able to make the most of everything the area has to offer!
We also really appreciate you letting us know about the hairdryer. We’ll definitely take that feedback into consideration and look into adding one for future guests. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back on your next visit!
The cabin is beautiful but it is very hard to find. We got there late at dusk and we had to call the office they were closed so we had contacted maintenance the gentleman answered the phone he was so helpful. He guided us up the mountain and on the gravel road. The only thing I wish is they would have better signs on which way to go and a map would be helpful. Also thank God we drove our pickup truck I don't know how we would of made it up the gravel road to the cabin due to the huge holes and how steep the mountain was. That should also be something that they should implement to the customers make sure you have 4x4 or AWD if you have a sports car or sedan I honestly don't think they would make it up the drive to the cabin

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We're so glad you enjoyed the beauty of the cabin and that our maintenance team was able to help guide you safely to the property after hours. We appreciate your feedback about the signage, map, and road conditions. We've recently experienced some flash flooding in the area, which can occasionally wash ruts into the gravel roads. We'll reach out to maintenance to see what can be done to improve the road conditions. We hope you made many wonderful memories during your stay and would love to welcome you back again!
