Tennessee Treasure (2 BR)

Bedrooms 2
Property type cabin
Minimum Stay 2 nights

About the property

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4)

Tennessee Treasure is a very beautiful luxurious cabin that has many treasures inside to offer and a beautiful view from either deck. As you enter this stunning log home you will first enter into the full kitchen with all the necessary appliances, cookware, dishes and utensils to prepare a romantic dinner for two or a hearty family feast. Enjoy your dinner in the dining room or carry your plates into the comfortable living room to enjoy in front of the cozy fireplace. After dinner, you can snuggle on the sofa while watching a movie on the big flat panel television.

The master bedroom features a king-sized bed and a full bath complete with tub and shower unit.

Upstairs in the loft area you will find yet an Aspen Log King bed hidden behind a beautiful, artfully designed privacy screen. The second bathroom is also located in the loft. Here you can let the jetted Jacuzzi tub soak away all your troubles.

The game room will call out to that little competitive spirit that lies inside of all of us. From a game of pool, air hockey, classic video arcade or a play station 2 games, let the competitions begin.

After the competitions, enjoy a glass of wine on the wide, expansive deck and watch the sunset over the mountains or take a dip in the relaxing hot tub. Perhaps you are an early riser? Enjoy a fresh brewed cup of coffee as the first rays of bright oranges and reds begin peaking up over the horizon and a beautiful sunrise unfolds right before your eyes.

Amazing views!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was extremely nice and clean. The views from the top deck are amazing and a great spot to watch the sun set. The location was perfect, right in between the parkway and Dollywood. You could actually hear the steam engine train from Dollywood everyday. I have zero complaints about this cabin and will definitely be staying again!

such a fun trip

  • 5 of 5

One of the most important things to me is having a comfortable bed and furniture. This cabin had both! And the views were amazing. This was our first annual girls trip and we can not wait to return!

Great location.....great view......perfect in every way!

  • 5 of 5

Everything was perfect! Cozy and comfy with a view of the Smokey Mountains we won't soon forget. Centrally located from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and just a few miles from Dollywood. If you take the "bypass" Vetrans Highway you are only minutes away from the Outlet Mall and you don't have to fight the bumper to bumper traffic in Pigeon Forge.

Disappointed - deceptive photos and no management support

  • 1 of 5

To be honest, we were a VERY disappointed.

We brought 3 small children down (4-8 yrs old). Keeping them entertained and watching movies at night is an important part of vacation to them, and to mom and dad so we can relax and wind down after long days. We chose this particular 2 bedroom cabin because of the video game machine, upstairs entertainment area, and a reasonable looking home theater capable family room (flat screen and speakers mounted on wall visible in pictures). Rest of the amenities were just normal for any rental (deck, hot tub, dishwasher, etc...).

The digital remote in the family room didn't work for the TV at all - you had to turn on TV by hand. The DVD player in the family room wasn't hooked up to anything - only power to the wall. The one HDMI cable I found couldn't be attached to the TV because the ports were behind the mounted TV - so no movie night for the kids. Upstairs DVD player wasn't hooked up to the TV, only to speakers for music. The video game console joystick on the player 2 side didn't work - so no head to head competitions, there. The photos in the ad show a computer, as in specifically show a picture of nothing but the computer, but there wasn't any WiFi or internet hookup available - which is deceptive. No one cares about a computer to play solitaire.

The ad also says 2 bedroom and pictures go out of their way to support that. We arrive to realize we rented a 1 bedroom with a bed thrown into a loft. The upstairs king bed is right next to the video game machine and the pool table. No privacy screen, definitely not a door to close and call a proper 2nd bedroom. So either zero privacy for mom and dad in loft, or leave young children on the top floor with access to a video game machine and hot tub on the deck and tell them to go to sleep.

I called the first morning about the family room DVD player and was told it would be fixed that same day sometime after 10am. Never was fixed. Looks like no one even bothered - at least no one ever plugged a cable into the DVD player and attempted to find a run to the TV. So, I didn't even bother to put in a 2nd call.

Hope this helps someone save their money and choose a more suitable cabin, and from a more honest advertiser/management company than "Outrageous Cabins."

On the positive side, cabin was clean, nice appliances, neighborhood was pretty nice, and views were nearly as advertised - but nothing special.

My husband and I were unsure about renting on the Pigeon Forge side of the Smokies, but the view was unbelievable. This cabin is perfect for a couple or a small family. If you do not have enough to do it is not the fault of the owners. The TV's all worked wonderfully and the game table was great. The beds are super comfortable and the jacuzzi super relaxing. It was very luxurious. We have rented in the Smokies for years and this has to be the best rental we have had yet by far. Very clean!! Great stay!!
