This was our 2nd year staying at this property. Braden is a very responsive host- he fields all manner of questions promptly and really cares that visitors enjoy their stay! There were some nice changes from last year- the property was cleaner, there were new paddleboards, a rowboat, firepit and outdoor lighting. We did not try the lighting but it’s a nice touch. There’s an inflatable couch thing anchored just a bit off the dock that was lovely for lounging. We had a very windy day, though, and the lightweight anchors didn’t hold it in place. Our kids had a grand time rowing the boat over and rescuing it from where it was drifting. Big thanks, Braden, we will definitely be back next year!
Camp was awesome! Lots of fun water activities right on a beautiful pond. Location was great, close to a lot of food and other activities. Went to Portland for some breweries, only a short drive. Most of the time just enjoyed the outdoors and the pond! Would absolutely stay again!

Quintessential cabin to the tee. Clear water and great convenient location. Dock area, Lakeside, and water toys were great. Master bedroom bunk house had a slightly musty smell, I personally couldn’t sleep with it. Aside from that expect a lake life cabin where you can unwind.
This cabin is in such a great location! Steps away from the water with kayaks, floats and paddle boards provided. We even saw a bald eagle soar across the ski while floating in front of the dock! The host Braden was extremely accommodating to us and promptly answered all the questions I had.
Braden was a responsive host. He answered all our questions and provided help when needed. We were prepared for a “upta camp” rustic experience. Uneven floors and short showers are part of the charm. However, it’s clear that this property is managed from a distance without much oversight or eye for detail. We informed the owner of many issues (plumbing, cooling and safety) He either knew about them and hasn’t addressed them or didn’t know about them at all. The pond is beautiful and clean. It is an amazing spot. However I wouldn’t recommend this rental for people with children under the age of ten or those with mobility concerns given the uneven terrain, open deck and two building design.I hope Braden continues to build and improve upon this cabin. It is a slice of tranquility on an amazing pond.
DIRTY and UNINHABITABLE! My family and I had a horrible experience staying at this property. We all ended up having to go to the doctors for treatment as we got horrible itchy skin rashes, my 8 year olds was the worst. The main cabin was infested with something that caused this. The only one in our party that didn’t get this horrible rash slept in the separate bunkhouse. My daughter misssed the next week of camp and I missed work that week to stay home with her as the rash was so bad! Almost as disgusting, the water in the cabin smelled awful. I put a bowl down for my dog and it was yellow. No hot water in the main cabin. Had to wash the pans we used in cold water. There were other issues as well as a result of the very obvious lack of maintenance and care. Cobwebs everywhere, lights not working. Strong moldy smell in the bunkhouse. Too many issues to list! I sent the host pictures of our rashes and communicated all these issues and he refused to even partially refund our money! Instead saying we left the place in “disarray”! Not even a little true. In fact, we left the place in better shape than we found it. Replaced batteries in remotes, replaced lightbulb for him (which still didn’t make the light work). This was a nitemare stay for us which had lasting effects that we’re still dealing with. Stay away!
