The back house needs some repairs (doors falling off, refrigerator not cooling). The mildew was strong in the back house.

Summer vacation

The town is nice but the houses where we stayed it was terrible. Once we arrive trash all over the outside with a death rat. Once we get inside the houses it had a Terrible smell. When we got there looked like it was clean but found roaches in the restrooms and rooms. When we try to used some of the cooking supplies we found mold in kitchen cabinets, downstairs room, and portraits. We also try to use the barbeque pit and it was terrible unable to use. We ended up purchasing a small to use. We had to buy cleaning supplies and shower curtains because they were black and mold. We had to stay since we pay the full price and where unable to find a house for the days we were taking our kids.

Some good and some not so good

Good: Location. Two homes which was spacious for 4 different families to be together. The pool was fun. Having a golf cart was convenient. Bad: Outdated. Very dirty. So many broken things such as furniture, blinds, doors, kitchen flooring, and the internet. The TV only worked the first day. Had to purchase frying pans since the only thing available were pots. The hostess did have a new pot/pan set delivered after our 2nd day there but there was only one small frying pan which was not big enough for our group. For a space that is supposed to accomodate 20 people there was not near enough seating. When we were outside which is where we spent most of the time since inside was so dirty, several had to sit on the steps or the ground. When we first arrived we had to clean up beer bottles and plastic cups that were tossed around the yard.
