Forest Haven- Mountain Getaway

Soothe your soul and escape to the mountains at Forest Haven! This charming and spacious cabin is nestled in the woods with plenty of space to relax, rejuvenate, and explore the Sierra! Vaulted open beam ceilings and a large sunken living area greet you as you enter the cabin, along with a cozy gas log stove for that mountain ambiance! The fully-equipped kitchen has tons of storage and counter space, providing room for multiple chefs to create memorable meals together. There’s both indoor and outdoor (covered) dining areas, so you can enjoy the space no matter the season. The downstairs rec room is perfect for game nights, and there are 3 roomy bedrooms plus 2 full bathrooms spread over two levels so everyone has privacy and comfort. The huge wrap-around deck is the ideal spot to soak up the sunshine or stargaze with family and friends! Parking is a breeze, the driveway levels out to a huge paved parking area with room for multiple vehicles! In addition to the gas log stove, there’s also forced air heat so you will be warm all winter long. Forest Haven is located nearby to many of our local attractions including Calaveras Big Trees State Park, Bear Valley Ski Area, Lake Alpine, Arnold Rim Trail, and the towns of Arnold and Murphys!

Forest Haven sleeps 8 guests in 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is located on the main (second) level with a Queen bed, desk, and deck access. It’s also attached to the main floor full bathroom. Bedroom 2 is located downstairs with a Queen bed, and Bedroom 3 is also downstairs with a Queen bed and a bunk bed (2 Twins). There is a full bathroom on the lower level, and laundry is on the main level off the kitchen.

Linens and Towels Provided. Maximum 8 Guests, Pets OK, No Smoking, No Check-Ins on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or Easter Sunday. No garage access. Patio furniture is seasonal.
