Floor to ceiling views of the Pacific Ocean greet you as you arrive at Ocean's Edge, perched on an oceanside cliff, with easy beach access. Ocean's Edge offers guests a spacious and welcoming lodge-like living room with pitched ceilings and exposed beams, an outdoor hot tub overlooking the ocean, and a quiet sun porch, the ideal nook for reading. The wraparound oceanfront deck also has a fire pit and adirondack chairs for enjoying the view.


This four bedroom three bathroom home has plenty of space to entertain, but is designed with perfect places for quiet time. The main floor has two beautifully appointed bedrooms with queen beds and ocean views. A third bedroom with a sitting area is upstairs with a second wood-burning fireplace and bathroom creating a private sanctuary. The ground level has two twin beds plus a separate bedroom with a full bed and ensuite bathroom. Luxury linens and quilts, antiques and overstuffed furniture enhance the experience of the ever-present ocean views from nearly every room.

The large dining area seats 10 and the fully equipped chef's kitchen includes all large and small appliances, pots, pans, utensils, spices, and staples - everything needed for a feast or a casual outdoor dinner on the large picnic table on the deck. WIFI, Large flatscreen TVs, DVR, DVD player and small library of movies, boardgames and beach toys. Sandy beaches and amazing tide pools make Ocean's Edge the perfect retreat for families, couples, and friends. Every amenity is included to promote a relaxing, serene and luxurious vacation.
Crabbing, clamming fishing all within several miles with easy boat, equipment and kayak rental. The flat beach is perfect for boogie boarding, paddle boarding and skim boarding.
Tillamook, only 11 miles away, home of the famous Tillamook Dairy and Cheese Factory, the new de Garde Brewery and the more established Pelican Brewery has
a movie theatre and many restaurants. There is also a farmers market in the summer adding to the shopping that is available all year.

We came up to for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. The views are stunning. When the sun was out, the deck was wonderful and when the storms rolled in the we enjoyed watching the waves from the chairs by the panoramic windows. The wood burning fireplace was a great touch and the kitchen had all we needed to prepare thanksgiving dinner

This is a gorgeous, yet comfortable, home. The views of the ocean and beach are stunning and the house is within walking distance of the beach. We felt very lucky that the owners were willing to share their home with others.

Beautiful location and perfect house for a beach getaway!

Just as pictured, the house is perfectly located above Oceanside beach, with easy and close beach access and amazing indoor and outdoor seating taking full advantage of the amazing views. Close proximity to Tillamook and other beach towns, but also great if you never want to leave the property!

What a beautiful location! The house is very comfortable and well equipped. The only bad experience was that someone stole my son's mountain bike from the carport during the middle of our last night there. Very surprising for a quiet street.

FANTASTIC beach getaway!

I stayed at Ocean's End with 4 of my friends of over 35 years for the weekend, and right when we checked in we said, "we wish we were staying for a week!!" It was beautiful, perfectly situated above the beach, a very easy 3 minute walk down to a fairly isolated, pristine beach. The house is gorgeous -- particularly the custom woodwork throughout. Will definitely return!

Absolutely gorgeous - and fun!

My son and daughter and their families stayed here for a week - perfect weather, and a home that was nothing short of spectacular. I was terrified of the white couches, but I believe they survived. The view is spectacular, the kitchen top-notch, and bedrooms and great room are all comfortable and lovely at the same time. And a foosball table in the basement - it doesn’t get any better!

Oceans Edge Never Fails

My family has rented this property from Janet several times. Her house is very beautiful and very well maintained. She cares about the experience of her guests and goes out of her way to make sure it is a great one. I would highly recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a beautiful view in a quaint little town on the beach.

My new favorite house at the Beach!

We rented this home for the 10th Anniversary of our Women's Weekend. It was just perfect, and we hope to return! The home has everything you need to cook and enjoy yourself, and many personal touches such as binoculars, books, and artwork. It's filled with beautiful and comfortable furniture. Every one of us commented on the excellent beds! And the deck is set up perfectly to socialize or have a moment alone with the ocean. We had a blast, and even saw sea lions and whale spouts from the living room windows.

Spectacular is an understatement!!!

What a wonderful place to spend time with friends and family. Everything about this house was amazing. The views and sunsets are ones that will be engraved in the our memories for a long time. The house absolutely had everything we needed with an incredibly well stocked kitchen. If you can think about it, this house has it. From sitting in the hot tub admiring the view to having a fire ready to go in the large fireplace, the owner thought of every comfort. The owner was so easy to deal with that it felt like we had known them for a long time. We will definitely come back to this place. Thanks for our amazing stay.

Beautiful home with great view

We only had two nights and wish we had longer. The house had everything we needed and the view was spectacular. When the tide goes out you can walk around the cliff to another beach and we could see the sea life on the rocks. We woke up both mornings for a walk that seemed different both times. The first night we walked down to the restaurant and had a wonderful dinner. The food was great and so were the people. The next night we watched all the campfires on the beach from the deck and enjoyed a home cooked meal. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. I was always told how beautiful the Oregon Coast was and now I know for myself.

A Great Place to Cool Down

This is a wonderfully located and appointed home. Spectacular views, a short stroll to a magnificent beach and a tunnel to a wonderland of tide pools and caves. Not too close to Tillamook, but close enough. Good dining nearby and down the road in Netarts. Short drives to Depoe Bay for whales, Ft. Clatsop for history or Cannon Beach for shopping and crowds. Oceans Edge is tucked perfectly in the corner of the beach and features a fire pit, hot tub and comfortable deck chairs. Master bed and bath upstairs, two bedrooms and one bath on the main floor and bedroom suite and bath on the ground floor with it's own entrance. The kitchen has everything you need and more, including a big gas grill. Loved the coffeemaker. A beautiful and well decorated living area lets you watch the ocean, lounge by the fireplace or watch TV (why, I don't know). Two incredible Oslo lounge chairs assist those who want to nap. Almost as important as the home is the owner, and Janet is a peach! She is most helpful, easy to deal with and informative. Don't hesitate to rent this superior property, it will not disappoint. Six Cool Happy Okies PS - The casework and cabinetry are worth the visit.

Oceans Edge Enchatment

My wife and I spent our anniversary at Oceans Edge. The wonderful owner, Janet, was instrumental in helping me to craft this weekend as a surprise for my wife. Oh man, did it ever work! When she walked through this great house to behold the view that is presented through the wall of windows and then out on to this magnificent deck, her face said it all to me...Home Run! We both are still glowing from our two days there. We have trekked the Oregon coast for years but somehow missed the little town of Oceanside. It is now our favorite spot. To submerse ourselves in the hot tub while mesmerized by the views and the sounds of the crashing surf rolling in right underneath, man, it just does not get better than this. I believe it will be one of our most treasured memories. The house is quality through and through with the greatest stocked kitchen I have ever encountered on a VRBO rental. While we did stroll the beach, and what a beachcombers delight it is, we mostly just sat in the great leather recliners and took in the stunning views while holding hands. Not to be missed is going through the "secret" tunnel in Maxwell Point that connects to an even more spectacular beach beyond and also a short trip up to Cape Meares Lighthouse for jaw-dropping views of Three Arch Rocks National Wildlife Refuge. Simply put, there is no way you could ever be disappointed with the accommodations at Oceans Edge! Thank You Janet!!

Most amazing beach weekend ever

We just returned from a weekend stay at Ocean's Edge to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, and we are already plotting our return. This beyond gorgeous home was the perfect place for a group of six friends and our dogs. We had the most fun, relaxing weekend any of us have had in a long time. The house is drop dead gorgeous, even more so than the photos. The love and care the owner has for this home is evident in all the details. We cooked all our meals in the gourmet kitchen, which is incredibly well-stocked with every pot, pan or gadget you could need, not to mention spices and condiments. Even a waffle iron! Perfect for birthday breakfast. We spent several hours just hanging out in the cozy living room with a fire going in the fireplace, taking turns sitting in the lounge chairs by the big windows. I could have sat there for several more hours and never been bored. The hot tub was perfectly functional and clean, we made several uses of that as well! There is nothing quite like sitting in the hot tub while still feeling the cool ocean breeze and hearing waves crash. Even though we would have been perfectly happy to never leave the house, we took the two-minute walk to the beach several times over the weekend just to play in the surf. The dogs absolutely loved it. The tunnel to the other side of that cliff was such a bonus too - great place to watch the sunset. My only regret is that we did not have more time! Two nights was not enough. Our group has already vowed to come back to this house at least twice a year. It has to be one of the nicest homes along the Oregon coast. Janet was such a pleasure to work with as well. We can't wait to return!

We purchased the property as a vacation rental. However, we loved the area so much that, when my husband retired in 2009, we completely refurbished it and made it into our dream home. In 2010 we moved here full time.
Now we'll be spending some more time away to be with our kids and want to share it with those who will love it as we do.

Why they chose this property

This home offers everything we wanted in a dream home. We love the awesome oceanfront setting, with large pine trees adding to a forrest like feeling. The house is on a quiet private road which keeps the area peaceful at all times.

What makes this property unique

Amazing beaches, one in front of the house and another just through the tunnel. The views are amazing the ocean alway changing. Two wood burning fireplaces inside the house with firewood included. Ease of living at its best
