About the property

House, 4 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 4 Baths, (Sleeps 12-15)

Experience the beach at your feet like no other place on the coast!!! The "Majestic Dream" home is possibly the "most luxurious home" on the beach and could easily be on the cover of numerous home magazines.

Majestic is a new, two-story home that is open, spacious with a reverse living design (main living and kitchen are on the upper floor). The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a full view of the magnificent Oregon Coast. If you truly want it all, "Majestic Dream" is for you!!!

Majestic Dream is a 4-plus-bedroom, 4-bath, two-kitchen home which is designed into two units. Both units are available together for your family to enjoy, or for a second family member or friend who want a private area. An inside door can be used for privacy or passage.

The upstairs unit features full views from the master bedroom, living room, dining area, kitchen, and outside deck. A gas fireplace is located in the dining/living area. A gourmet kitchen with restaurant-style equipment, large SubZero refrigerator, separate salad sink, and granite countertop is perfect for fine dining or simply tasting wine. This unit also has a second bedroom with a king bed, full bath, and laundry facilities.

The lower unit has a full view from the kitchen, dining, and living areas. A gas fireplace is located in the living area. The bedroom has a king-size bed, and the full bath is located next to the bedroom.

The lower floor has a 4th bedroom with a triple bunk on one side of the room (Full bed on bottoom, twin bed on top, with a pull out twin bed under the full bed). Then there is a twin bed on the opposite side of the room. This room sleeps 6. A full bath is located just a few steps away from this bedroom.

Both units have access directly to the beach and the lower deck. The hot tub is located on the lower deck with a full ocean view.

Why The Owner chose Northern Coast

This home is located directly on the beach. It is great to be able to run out the front door and down to the ocean without rocks, roads, or any other obstruction. The home is located along a street where there are no hotels or multi family dwellings causing heavy traffic or crowds. This results in a very "private" beach area. The pictures of the home really don't do it justice. To sit in the living room and look out the full length windows provides a view that very few homes have.

What makes this house unique

The 2 living areas provide a separate space that is great for privacy. This could be for another family, elderly parents, or in my case, a place for my boys to go and play games while the adults make dinner, or just relax and read. The lower living area can be closed off by interior doors which really makes it private.

Directly in front of the home is the largest sand box you will find. It is perfect for small children who need supervision but want to play directly in the sand.

VRBO Bear enjoying a day at Rockaway Beach.

Upon arrival in the relaxed, seaside town of Rockaway, we were ready to kick back, relax and enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of West Coast living. The rather plain exterior of this oceanside home did not prepare us for the beautifully decorated and quality furnished interior. Everything was top-notch from the granite counter tops in the kitchen to the plush couches in the living room. This home features floor to ceiling windows, which offer spectacular views from just about every room in the house. Just a few steps away is the beautiful Pacific ocean. We enjoyed taking long walks along the beach, collecting shells and star fish, splashing in the waves, and even made a campfire and roasted marshmallows one night. The kids enjoyed making sand castles with the provided buckets, shovels and castle making tools. Nearby Tillamook, known for it’s famous cheese factory offers clamming, crabbing, Salmon and bottom fishing. Anyone who enjoys shopping will have to visit the Lincoln City outlet mall and be sure to stop at the many antique stores along the way. Not to often does a bear get to go horseback riding. We found a wonderful tour guide to take us on an hour-long horseback ride along the beach. If you are looking to relax, back at the house you can curl up on one of the couches, read a book and soak in the great views. Did I mention "soak-in?" Relaxing in the hot tub was a great way to wind-down after an exciting day of fun filled activities. For meal time the large, fully equipped gourmet kitchen was wonderful. Everything from durable pots and pans to spices were included. If eating out is your thing. When it’s time for bed, this bear thought the plush, king-size beds were "just right." There were plenty of beds to sleep all of us comfortably and 4 bathrooms, so we didn’t have to fight over shower time. The master bathroom even has a huge walk-in shower with 3 showerheads! Whether you are looking to have a relaxing getaway or a fun filled family vacation I would highly recommend "Majestic Dreams." After staying at this large, spacious home I will never go back to staying in bear cave hotels again! Signed, VRBO Bear

Fell In Love

  • 5 of 5

Is it possible to fall in love with a vacation rental? I rented this property twice. We had 10 to 12 people each time and everyone had a great time. The hot tub was wonderful on rainy days and if you have older people who enjoy the view of the ocean but don't necessarily want to walk the beach, this is perfect. The entire front of the house on the top floor is ocean view. There is a nice sand box for smaller kids to play and the beach is right there, seconds away. My partner loves to cook and the kitchen met all of his needs. Lots of plates, silverware and glasses for a large group (wine glasses and shot glasses for those who need them). I look forward to staying at this property again. You will need to bring your bath products and beach towels but that's about it. We had ages 4 to 75 with two separate living rooms so those who want to by noisy can and those who want to relax can at the same time. Loved it and HIGHLY recommend it!!

Above and Beyond Exceptional Quality in all Aspects

  • 5 of 5

It is true that the photos do no justice for the beauty of this home. We fully enjoyed staying in this home during our family vacation. Unlike hotels and some other homes, this home was furnished as though it were intended to be an actual home and not just a temporary residence. This added to the relaxed and comforting environment. The view is breathtaking, from sun up to sun down. Easy access to the beach. The children loved that beach toys were provided for them to play with right outside the home, where the adults could supervise them easily. The kitchen was equipped for all of our meal choices, which certainly made cooking on vacation a breeze. Our family experienced a tragic emergency during our stay and the homeowner was above and beyond accommodating for our circumstance. We could not have possibly been more appreciative of the kindness that he showed our family. The local community also went above and beyond to support our family during a tough time. I would be proud to call this community home. I definitely recommend this home for anyone wanting the best vacation for their family. We had children from ages 3-14 on this trip and each and every one of them thoroughly enjoyed themselves. It is only a short walk to the main part of town where you can shop for souvenirs, groceries, and other essential items. The house itself came fully furnished with blankets, bathroom towels, laundry room, cleaning supplies, and basic essentials. This certainly made packing much easier for our trip! I would definitely return if ever given the opportunity in the future!

Majestic Dreams-Rockaway Beach

  • 5 of 5

My family of 9 stayed in the house the first week of June, 2015. There were 6 adults and 3 children ranging from 3-8. The pictures of the house did not do it justice. It was a great location and the house contained all of the items we needed. This was one of the few houses which had 3 king beds and bathrooms for all with a nice bedroom for the kids. The kids loved the beach and the hot tub.The town of Tillamook was a nice short excursion. Two adults rode the train and enjoyed it. One day we went to Oswald State Park. I would recommend it. The walk to the beach was beautiful thru the forest and the kids played in the ocean and observed life in the tide pools. Another day we drove a few miles north to Kelly's Marina. We went clamming and rented boats and went crabbing. It was a great time and probably caught 100 plus crabs and kept 7 that were large enough. They cooked them for us at the marina. My family would like to go back and if so would stay at the house and have told our friends in Kansas that this trip should be planned in the future. The view from the house is magnificent.

Hot tub didn't work

  • 1 of 5

The house is OK, a little run down, but the poor review is because the hot tub did not work (at all) and the owner refused to refund any of our rental fee. The hot tub is a big part of our coming down for the weekend.

Owner's Response: This is a very nice home that gets a lot of positive reviews. Those reviews are based on the fact that we are more than happy to repair any problems associated with the home or make other arrangements for our guests despite the fact that there are issues outside of our control. The majority of our guests enjoy the comfort, cleanliness, and overall condition of the home.
