Hosted a group of 40 here for our wedding. Literally the most beautiful, perfect experience. Host was extremely accommodating and even let us take a tour before the big day. Would 100% recommend and return!! If you’re thinking about booking, don’t hesitate.

I rented this property for my 30th birthday weekend and it was absolutely perfect. We had 35 people in our group, some flying in from out of state, and the check-in process couldn’t have been easier. It was simple to get everyone settled into their cabins, thanks to the property manager’s excellent communication beforehand. They provided me with a detailed inventory of everything available on the property, as well as a map that made assigning cabins to guests a breeze.Every single person in our group was so impressed by the property. It truly had everything we needed and more. We never felt the need to leave all weekend. We spent our days relaxing by the pool and our nights enjoying themed events in the dance hall, which made the whole experience so special.I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a milestone birthday. I would absolutely love to come back here again for another big occasion. This property made my 30th unforgettable!

What a great weekend! Eric was the perfect host and the facilities were outstanding! I highly recommend this to large families. The thirteen bedrooms gave a lot of space for all of our families; the kitchen was well equipped; the pool area was superb; the main house was big enough for all of us to enjoy meals in one area; the extra chairs and tables in the barn were very helpful and the barn for evening games worked out great. The teens also enjoyed the game room.

Great for family reunions

Great setup for our family reunions. Wide range of ages (8 months to 95 years old). Sleeping accommodations gave us flexibility. Main house was perfect for meals and gathering for the whole family. A couple scorpions visited us inside, probably need to be sprayed for that. Some fluorescent ceiling lights need replacing too. Pool and patio were awesome too! Nice size for a lot of people. Outside grilling was excellent. Used the flat top for many meals. Owners responded promptly when we got low on propane. We were also allowed to check in early and check out late which was awesome. Hope to return there next year!

The Perfect Family Reunion

This was a perfect place for our family of 46. It was enjoyed by my 95 year old mother all the way down to my 6 year old great nephew. Everyone had plenty to do during the day such as golfing, swimming, floating, shopping, hiking, etc... Each evening we were all back together at the 'big house' to enjoy food, fellowship, and family time together! Great memories were made!

Great stay

We had our annual family reunion here and it was a blast! It was so nice coming when the weather was warmer and we could use the awesome pool area. We have a big family and everyone had a great time and didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. Very spacious and beautiful spaces. Thank you!!

Charming and stunning property

We booked the property for our family and friends who were coming from out of state for our wedding, we held our reception here. The individual cabins were perfect to accommodate everyone (I’m slightly jealous I didn’t get to stay in one!) and we all had enough space to not feel crammed. There was plenty of acreage for roaming around. The main house was stunningly large as you walked in, with it feeling like a fun maze finding the rooms and turning corners. The house and rooms were very clean with our favorite part being the master bathtub and the small walk-in cooler in the kitchen. Whenever we had an issue or a question Eric was right there responding to us, letting us know how to work the electric stove, and turned on the lights on the trees in the pathway when it got dark. Responses were within minutes and we loved seeing the guest/visitor book in the den with who had been there before us. Thank you so very much!

Had an amazing stay- great property!

Our extended family had an amazing stay. There was plenty of space for everyone and the cabins were amazing for the 5 families with children. At no point did we feel crowded because the property was so sprawling and there was so much to do! Would love to stay here again and definitely recommending it to everyone.

Great place for a large group..

Came down from Denver for a company management off-site meeting. Fun location and set up with lots of meeting areas and great swimming pool. Really enjoyed the stay!

Great Hill Country family reunion location!

We stayed at The Ranch at Wimberley over Thanksgiving for our annual Thanksgiving family reunion. This was our first time in Texas and everyone had a great time and enjoyed the property. There were five younger kids that were able to burn their energy exploring the property and running from the cottages to the main house to the pool house. The adults enjoyed the many different options for relaxing and catching up with each other. The fully stocked kitchen and overflow utility room made food preparation a breeze. Hill Country Premiere Lodging were extremely easy to work with and worked to answer all of our questions we had prior to arrival and as we were settling in. We even had a couple bumps on our end where I had to escalate an accident we had. They were very empathetic and assured us that accidents happen. They gave us leeway to try to resolve the issues on our end but also made it clear that they were happy to step in if needed. Overall, the consensus was that everyone loved the accommodations, the property, and the location and we would love to come back if we decide to return to Texas for our reunion. Sure, there are aspects of the facilities that are a little dated and some of the design aspects are a little quirky or humorous, but it just added to overall allure and quaintness of the property.

Great place - we loved it!

The Ranch at Wimberley was such a perfect spot for our group of 40! There was plenty of space for our group. We had SO much fun hanging out at the beautiful pool & around the pool had plenty of spots for our group to hang out. Everyone loved hiking, swimming, late night hot tub in solarium, game room & a dance party in the barn. It was very well stocked as well. It was so easy to cook in the very large kitchen - loved the walk in fridge too as it gave us plenty of room to keep everything cold instead of having to use cooler. Would recommend to large groups

Would DEFINITELY book again!

Perfect for large groups! We had a group of about 40 that stayed on the property for 3 nights. The accommodations were perfect - plenty of spaces to sleep (with beds that are actually comfortable). There was plenty to do on the property, we hardly wanted to leave to do anything else! It's also very close to town, so it was easy to run to the HEB for food to cook meals or just go into Wimberly for the day. Everything was very clean and well taken care of!

Amazing Property

Our stay was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Our group of about 40 was well accommodated and had plenty of space for everyone. The pool was great. The house was amazing.

Its not what the pictures make it out to be

There were good and bad things about this property. On a positive note, there was plenty of space and room for our group. The Wimberly town is close and super cute. Eric was AMAZING! But, it is very dated and could desperately need an upgrade. The ants were horrible. The pool was very far from the main house and cabins so it did not get used as much as it should have.And the pool needs some attention. The bottom looked awful so no-one really wanted to swim in it. I honestly believe if the took out all the unnecessary and old knick knacks, gave it a fresh coat of paint and organized the kitchen better it would be a really nice place for large groups.

Great unique space

Overall, good experience. This unique property was huge with a lot of space to hangout together as a group and have some private time, if needed. Kitchen in main house is fully stocked with walk in fridge. Don't forget to take a ride in the elevator!

Spacious and serene.

Everyone had something to do and the space to do it. The barn was a hit for music and a corn hole tournament. The lights throughout the property added to the serenity. The pool and pool house are better than they appear on the website. Family reunions, graduation celebrations, or a couple’s weekend are perfect for this property!

Great location for large groups

We stayed here for business meetings for our annual strategic planning. There was plenty of space for our group with a variety of activities on site. The only thing we were missing was a grill outside but we were able to work with the multiple kitchen options available.

Joke of a Chefs Kitchen

We tried communicating with the property managers to have an early arrival including paying a fee and was told it would not be possible. When we checked in there were exactly 2 spoons and 4 serving spoons - there were enough forks and butter knifes though. Not enough cutlery in the main kitchen. Papers and other items were left out and not cleaned well from previous renters. There were no instructions on how to use the induction cook top. The cook top buttons were not responsive and we couldn’t use it at all during the stay. The front right has burner wouldn’t light the front left if turned down too low would make the igniting sound and was unnerving. The oven in the main house is not able to keep temperature. Turn it on to 350 and it will be at 318 turn it to 400 it will be about 355. The oven also only has 2 metal racks between the top and bottom oven which meant for our size group we had to send people to use stoves in the other homes. The freezer had an ice machine it was broken and loose ice was left all over the bottom of the freezer. We set out fruit (cantelope and Mellon) on the kitchen area by the stools and had a ant infestation crawling on the plate of fruit within 30min. They left us 4 trash bags for a stay where we had 4 nights with 12 people so we ran out of trash bags, paper towels, no hand soap in the kitchen or spare bathrooms. There was no cookie sheet, there was on 9x13 pan to cook in a house that supports this number of guests. We had to buy so many supplies like extra tin pans, spoons, proper knifes for cooking because the supplies of this kitchen were lacking. The water faucets were weird because they the hot and cold was switched and my team had really uncomfortable first showers as they couldn’t figure it out. Some bedrooms had weird outlets and when we tried to find plugs we found previous renters left clothes under the beds. The water wasn’t drinkable to our team so we had to bring in bottles of water. The indoor hot tub room didn’t have lights so you couldn’t use the room too late When we arrived there were people living on the property with us in other buildings - that wasn’t in the listing and pretty startling to see people around and doing things while we were there. Wi-Fi was trash we could barely have 4 people on at a time. Not enough bandwidth to join a Google meet without video. Had to use phone hot spots for almost everything. Would not stay at this property again in this condition.
