Picturesque 10 Acre Hill Country Escape - designed to be a magical gathering place great for large families, retreats and groups.

We wanted families to have the perfect lodge for creating connections and special celebrations all week long, but feel cozy enough for couples to gather over the weekend, and with all the comforts of home.

For those looking to host a smaller group size but with ample space and provisions - the Lodge offers room to host a signature retreat with more space and bedroom sleeping options.

Make your next great escape to the Wimberley Valley Lodge where we are remote enough for a charming visit to the country but close to all the conveniences of this bustling artistic town.

A few of our top features include a shaded pool, hot tub, alongside indoor and outdoor games for fun, then relax fireside in our Adirondack chairs or take one of the outdoor blankets to watch a sunset by the pond. We have ample dining spaces for everyone to have a seat at the table. And with our 9 bedrooms, with 19 comfortable beds that sleep up to 25, you're sure to accommodate the right fit for all the cousins and grandparents to join.

The Layout:
Our Main Lodge is a 4 BR/3.5BA with an oversized dining room, living room, bunkroom, and TV room.

Our Party Barn Bunkhouse sleeps 8 in a 2 BR/1BA, or up to 10 with additional sleeping for 2 on the party barn sleeper sofa. With its own kitchen, game room, spacious courtyard perfect for competing in washer tournaments, yard games, as well as, hosting meetings, campfires, or an old fashioned BBQ.

Our cozy Guest Cottage is 3 BR/2BA and can sleep up to 6 in beds or 8 with a sleeper sofa, it also has its own full kitchen, dining area, and living space.

We've even updated our tech so your group can enjoy high-speed internet service and brand-new Sonos-ready soundbars in the party barn.

Many of our familes and guests return year-after-year, as a home away from home for their reunions and holidays with special touches added each season. Our guest manager Mary always does her best to make your stay special.

Wimberley Christmas

The Wimberley Valley Lodge has become a treasured part of our family Christmas tradition! We absolutely love it here! There is room for our entire family of 30 ranging in ages from 2-80. There are plenty of comfy bedrooms for all the married couples. The bunk room in the main house is huge and the girls have plenty of room to spread out, and the boys love the bunk house attached to the party barn! The grounds are perfect for games and fun and the party barn is an absolute hit. We all love getting schooled in shuffleboard by PawPaw!This year we had a family cooking lesson and MawMaw taught all her granddaughters how to make ravioli. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. It was an all day adventure and a memory we will never forget!Mary is a wonderful and responsive host and takes great care of us! We are already planning our next visit to the Wimberley Valley Lodge!

Family vacay

This property was amazing. we had lots of space to hang out. We played lots of indoor games as well. Loved the bunkhouse where we could sit by the firepit. Had most of our evening meals there. Eas such a relaxing environment and we found everthing we needed. Thank you for sharing your hiuse with our family.

Magical Place, Wonderful Stay

We couldn't have been happier with the houses, the game room with ALL you could want to play, the pool (though cozy for our large group), the hot tub, the stocking of all you could need to cook and clean. The beds were so comfortable in all the houses. It was a perfect place with amazing communication, responsiveness, and attention to detail. We were all sad to leave. We have found our forever location for our annual family gathering with our 10 adults, and 4 teenagers, 6 pre teens and 2 babies. Mary was wonderful to work with. Wimberley charmed us with how warm and friendly every business we went to was. Perfect stay in a beautiful location. Thank you to Wimberley Valley Hill Country Getaway.

Amazing Stay

This was an amazing place to stay and was exactly as advertised if not more beautiful. Check in was easy the host Maria very responsive and really welcomed our family. My new and wife and I loved the main house as it was gorgeous. Absolutely recommend this property for your next family reunion. We will be back!

The property was very close to everything- amazing food, silos and entertainment. The house is perfectly nestled in it all. The pool, grass, firepit and patio give it a country flare in the city. Highly recommend. Andrew is an awesome host! Thank you so much!

Golf Weekend

What a great place to stay! We have a golf group that has stayed at many VRBOs throughout Texas and this was one of our absolute favorites. The pool was refreshing, the A/C worked great, and the property was perfect. If we can find some closer golf courses we will be back!

Great place for family to gather

Our extended family of 18 enjoyed the homes and property at Wimberley Valley Lodge for Thanksgiving. Three homes with lots of bedding options was perfect for us. I do wish one of the party barn bunk rooms had a double bed so parents could stay with kids, but this place may not get a lot of little kids - there is plenty to do (games, etc) for all ages! Ours explored every bit of the 10 acres, finding frogs and animal bones, climbing trees, enjoying smores, playing in the pool and hot tub, and eating lots of food! The kitchens were well equipped with plenty of dishes, silverware and glasses for all of us - we kept the three dishwashers running almost constantly. We look forward to returning!

Hands Down The Best Decision Made

I came across this lodge and noticed it allowed events. I got in contact with Mary, who was absolutely a dream to work with. She gave us a tour and I knew that the lodge was the perfect place. Fast forward to our wedding weekend, everything was so easy as far as check in, communication, and the place was soon to be transformed into our special getaway. Family and friends could not believe this incredible find. So many told us this was hands down the best decision to host our wedding at Wimberley Valley Lodge. They have everything needed to make it feel like home but a venue at the same time. I could see us going back to enjoy the lodge again but next time for a mini staycation.

Loved everything about this property. We had 15 adults and 7 children. Property has ample comfortable bedding for all. Plenty of activities also. Kitchen options worked well. The grounds were beautiful and very well kept. Can’t say enough good about our stay.

Incredible weekend getaway

The property was incredible. Ample places to hang out and relax. Each house had extremely comfortable lodging. The pool and the party barn were a huge hit. Will definitely be coming back!

This is it! WVL is the perfect property for your gathering.

This property is better than the photos. We held our family reunion here with ages ranging from 76 to 11 months old. The amenities are perfect to keep the kiddos happy. The Party Barn is set up perfectly for large serving of meals and hanging out. The main house and guest cottage are appointed for comfort and have everything you need. Mary was very easy to communicate with and made sure our stay was everything we hoped for. It was and more. We will be back!

Hill Country Christmas Year 3

This is our third year to celebrate Christmas at Wimberley Valley Lodge and it just keeps getting better and better! Our family, including my parents, their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren all had a wonderful time! The property is sprawling! It is the most idyllic place to come together and still have plenty of room to spread out. The bunkhouses are great for all the cousins while all of us oldsters had our own private rooms and bathrooms in the main lodge and cottage. It couldn’t have been more perfect for our family! The party barn is a huge hit for everyone where PawPaw schooled us all in the art of shuffleboard. Every meal was prepared in the large kitchen and shared together in the party barn where we could sit together inside or outside around a cozy fire pit. The Wimberley Valley Lodge has become part of our cherished family memories and we have already started planning for next year!

Just plain outstanding, from property to management to location OUTSTANDING

Our family (3 groups) of 12, gathered at the property, to celebrate Thanksgiving, and to spend time together. It could not have been better. The property is well located (15 min from local grocery store, but far enough away from town to be very quiet). The 10 acres (or so) are well cared for, easy to talk, but still “wild”. The homes are spacious and exactly as described. 3 kitchens in the 3 building allowed us to to prepare all our meals on site, including a complete Thanksgiving dinner. There was a small issue with the internet, and the property manager immediately sent out help, fixing the issue. REsponse to any question was immediate. Could not have asked for anything better. Frankly is was outstanding, top to bottom.

Beautiful space and property, well stocked, everything we needed

The space was beautiful, everything was immaculate and clean, and it was very well stocked with everything we needed. They even had a bottle of wine and a jar of salsa for us upon check in! The property manager was also very attentive and responsive and great to work with - very reasonable check in and departure policies. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend!

Perfect Family Getaway

The property is absolutely stunning with everything thoughtfully laid out by the owner exactly where you would look for it. Rooms are well stocked with sheets and comfortable beds. Every kitchen had all the necessary utensils and serving ware. The best part was the outdoor areas for cooking, pool time, or a game of corn hole. We had so much fun and would definitely love to return soon.

When we first purchased WVL, the weekends we spent as a young family here gave me an environment to rest and an opportunity to push the reset button from a fresh perspective. Providing this opportunity of connection and restoration is what I want to share with our guests.
