¡Encantador rancho de montaña perfecto para reuniones familiares!

Driftwood Retreat and Ranch es un encantador rancho de 16 acres con tres casas separadas, The Main Ranch House, Stone Cottage, Log Cabin, una sala de juegos / casa de literas, una piscina y bañera de hidromasaje, un enorme pozo de fuego y un pabellón de barbacoa cubierto. Las casas y la piscina están ubicadas a 25 yardas una de otra en el patio ajardinado de 4 acres.

La casa más grande es la "Ranch House" de 2,482 pies cuadrados, es una casa tradicional de dos pisos con una gran cubierta trasera cubierta con mucha sombra. Dentro de la casa hay una amplia sala de estar con chimenea de leña, sofás de cuero y TV de pantalla plana. Fuera de la sala de estar hay una cocina totalmente equipada con una gran isla y un comedor con capacidad para seis. También abajo está el dormitorio principal con una cama king size y baño privado con bañera y ducha a ras de suelo. Arriba hay un área de loft para dormir con dos camas individuales y un segundo dormitorio con una cama queen size. También hay un colchón de aire queen size disponible para arreglos adicionales para dormir. A solo unos pasos de Ranch House hay una sala de juegos con un conjunto de literas (fondo de tamaño completo y parte superior de dos camas), así como una cama nido que se extiende hacia un rey, una mesa de billar y un divertido toque de tiki-choza !
"The Stone Cottage" es la adorable estructura de dos dormitorios de 803 pies cuadrados con verdadero encanto rural. Hay una gran sala abierta que incluye la sala de estar con una adorable estufa de barriga para mantener el calor, el comedor y la cocina completa. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama queen size, mientras que el segundo dormitorio tiene dos juegos de camas individuales. Justo al final del pasillo hay un baño completo. We absolutely adored our stay here over Labor Day weekend. All of the rooms were very clean and the pool and outdoor space was well maintained. The owner was lovely and very quick to answer any questions we had before and during our stay! I’d highly recommend staying here for a large family or a group of friends.

Perfect Family Retreat!

This property was an absolute gem—beautifully maintained and thoughtfully stocked with everything imaginable to make our stay effortless and enjoyable. From a fully equipped kitchen with every appliance and gadget you could ask for, to plush towels, cozy bedding, and entertainment options for all ages, no detail was overlooked.The highlight for many of us was the stunning outdoor space. We spent hours soaking in the sparkling pool, relaxing in the spa, and unwinding in the hot tub under the stars. Evenings around the fire pit were a hit with the kids, especially when it came time to roast marshmallows and share stories. They enjoyed the scavenger hunt the most!Tucked away in the peaceful countryside, the property offered a true escape from the hustle and bustle. And while being surrounded by nature does bring the occasional countryside crawler, it’s all part of the charm of an authentic country getaway.Truly, it felt like a home away from home—only better. We can't wait to come back!

Family weekend

This property is awesome and huge.We filled, every bed with a family member and never felt crowded. The host worked with us to check in early and check out late, very generous. I only regret as we couldn’t stay longer and enjoy the property more.

Great Thanksgiving Stay for Extended Family

Driftwood Retreat and Ranch was exactly as advertised and our big family very much enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving. The property has an "out in the country" feel even though it is only a half-hour or so outside of Austin. The separate buildings offered privacy for family units of varying sizes. The owner (Kristin) lives a short distance away in Austin and is readily accessible via text or email. She was one of the most responsive hosts we have ever experienced. The weather was cold so we didn't use the pool or spa, but they look wonderful and we are tempted to come back sometime when it is warmer. We did make good use of the outdoor firepit where our grandkids loved roasting marshmallows for s'mores. One surprise was the town of Kyle itself. Downtown area is a short drive from the ranch and is quaint and beautiful, very walkable, with a park and playground for kids and several brewpubs and other amenities for adults. Kyle is a rapidly growing bedroom community for Austin so every food and beverage amenity you could possibly want is only a short drive from the ranch. All in all, we had a wonderful stay.

Nothing Short of Amazing

This is our 4th time staying at the Driftwood Ranch and Retreat and it was spectacular as always! Kristin loves this property and it shows in the details that she puts into it to ensure that it is ready for guests. Her thoughtfulness in upgrading and maintaining the property makes for a pleasant and worry free stay. Thanks again Kristin!

I didn’t want to leave!

It was way too short! This is an awesome place to reconnect with family and just kinda kickback. We all had our own space yet we were always together. Kristen is an excellent hostess. If you are a person that cooks she has anything and everything you could want. The space was gorgeous and well kept. If I ever need to be back in Texas I will definitely stay here.

Just Wonderful

This retreat is beautiful. Spread across 16 acres, it offers so much privacy. It’s nice that it has 3 separate houses. The log cabin is just darling. The pool was great and plenty of space to spread out. The big house has a huge kitchen with just about every cooking utensil you need. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to return next year.

Exceeded expectations for our large group trip!

Our stay at Driftwood Ranch exceeded our expectations and was a wonderful time for our group of 18 (13 adults and 5 children 4 and under). The photos do not do this property justice. The setting is a gorgeous and peaceful Hill Country back drop where you and your group will be in a fully private setting to relax and spend time with loved ones. The main house had one of the best appointed kitchens we’ve stayed in to date, with double ovens, two fridges and everything you need to cook for a large group. We had plenty of bathrooms and beds for everyone in our group to have their own space. Kristin was incredibly communicative and graciously provided an area guide and also enough mattresses/cots for our children to sleep comfortably in addition to adults. All of the houses stayed cool and comfortable in the August Texas heat. The pool was fully fenced in, a great comfort to parents of young kids! We all had lots of fun at the pool and adjacent pavilion, and loved sitting in the chairs around the fire pit in the evenings. We cooked on both (yes, two!) grills and both were clean and worked well, and we had all the gear needed at the house to use them! The kids loved exploring the beautiful natural setting and were running around exploring flowers and rocks together all weekend. We would absolutely stay at this property again. Thank you Kristin for a wonderful weekend full of special memories!

Own personal resort

We had a dream of a weekend w friends. It’s like having your own resort. Everything was perfect; the individual fully stocked houses, sparkling pool, bbq pavilion. So much space for the kids to play and roam. Icing on the cake, my kids woke up to horses in the backyard. Truly magical. Hope to come back every year.

Christmas in July

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Driftwood Retreat and Ranch. Kristin was fantastic to deal with, so nice! Plenty of room for the kids to roam, awesome pool/pavilion was super. Beautiful sunsets, wildlife running around. It was a peaceful place for our family to enjoy.

Great Family Getaway!

This property was perfect for our family getaway! We had 11 adults and two infants with our crew for a family celebration. The house had everything we could need while on the property- from every cooking gadget to towels. Despite having so many people we never felt crowded or lacking space. There were more than enough chairs, beds, and parking spaces. If we ever needed something Kristin was ways quick to respond! The pool area was beautiful and perfect for adults and kids. There was a great tanning area in the pool that our 2 year old could play in while others swam in the deeper end. The night lights allowed us to make the most of this area during our trip. The various houses on the property were perfect for our large group. It felt like we had a neighborhood of just family. People could come together and have alone time as needed. All the little houses had everything one could need- including great AC! We enjoyed the rural feel while being close enough to make a drive to the grocery store and restaurants on I-35 for food as needed. While it gives an isolated feel, you will never feel bored! We kept finding new little areas on the property throughout our stay. The check-in and check-out procedures were very simple and easy. Our guest with a broken leg was able to enjoy the stay at the main house and joined us by the pool. This stay was a great experience!

Perfect family getaway

We had a wonderful time relaxing with family here. The property is great for an extended family get together as there are multiple houses, allowing everyone their own space while still allowing everyone to easily spend time together. The pool is A+ and the scenery is beautiful. Planning our trip back already!

Hill Country Holiday

We had 18 people from 10 months to 960 months at the ranch to celebrate an 80th birthday and a 16th birthday. The venue was perfect for us. Secluded and private and well appointed as a rustic 16 acre ranch and yet close enough to civilization to not cause any worries should an emergency occur. WONDERFUL time.

Extended Family Time

The ranch was great for our extended family gathering, with plenty of room for everyone without feeling cramped. The kitchen was the best stocked rental kitchen I’ve ever had. We only regretted that we didn’t have more time there.

Perfection

We had a group of 13 women for a birthday getaway and this property couldn't have been more perfect. The owner touched base before and provided some updates and suggestions of things to do in the area. We were using this rental as a base to get to horseback riding in Dripping Springs and we all really wished we had planned on one more day to just lounge on-site. Just going through all the different houses was a real treat. So much thought has obviously gone into decorating these places. It felt like a home not a rental. I can't say enough about how blown away we all were. Rent and enjoy a few days away from it all!!
