Hello Andrew. Sorry to hear we only earned one star!
With the little communication we had together, I wished we had more opportunity to make your stay enjoyable.

Was absolutely amazing, my entire party admired the cabin!
The cabin was exactly as described--clean, spacious, and comfortable. The host was very responsive both before our stay and during, which was appreciated. Cell service was spotty (not the host's fault), so just something to be aware of as there is no wifi/internet available as listed in the description. I was glad I brought a few extra fans, especially on the hotter 90F days, to help keep the dogs cool (I received approval from the host prior to bringing both dogs). Overall, I had a great time and found the place easy to locate. Would recommend
This home suited our needs for the few days we stayed. Basic home, spacious for the 5 of us. Could use a little more TLC. Seems old and outdated. Our only problem was the way the kids got up to the second floor. The ladders is very steep and quite high.

Thanks for the feedback Cheryl! The cabin was built in 2018, I’m interested to know what seemed outdated so we can make adjustments! Thanks for staying with us.

Completely unplugged
This was a beautiful location, beautiful cabin. No AC wouldn’t be an issue, usually… but they chose iron bars for the railings to the loft. Not the smartest choice for a cabin with no AC, every single day we had to wipe them down unless we wanted brown gunk all over hands and clothes from going to the loft. I set one of my bags down on the ground in the bedroom, and when I picked it up I had balls of dust and previous renters hair all over it. There’s no WiFi, no dvd player, and the cable usually gets 5 channels out of the whole guide lol. There was a power outage, and we were left without electricity or water - I messaged the property owner immediately, and an hour later was told it wasn’t even looked into yet because the electric company hadn’t contacted them yet. Definitely felt like it wasn’t a priority to get it figured out, I ended up getting pretty upset about it and eventually got an update of the outage and repair time. Overall we made the best of it. But I wouldn’t stay here again.

Hello Andrea,
Thanks for the compliments about the property!
We have not experienced what you’re describing on the railing to the loft, but I’ll be sure to look into to it.
We also very sorry for the power outage. It was out of our control. You may have forgotten, but we responded to your message about the outage in 2 minutes. Id be happy to send you the time stamped screenshot as a reminder. It did take a few extra minutes to determine that it was a known outage reported by the power company. Overall the outage lasted 2 hours, very sorry it ruined your entire weeklong stay!
