The architecture and design of the house was spectacular. One side is the mountains and the other the ocean. The house was clean and well equipped. My only recommendation would be to repair or replace the pool lounge chairs (3 teenagers who love to sit pool side) We saw Scarlet Macaws and green parrots.

Missing casa wow already

Perfect location, close to so many things to do. We were able to walk to restaurants, felt safe running alone, and walking after dark. Absolutely can’t say enough great things about this place.

Perfect getaway

We did a 4 night stay at Casa Wow. The location was great. Just outside Quepos was a quiet hillside retreat. Upon our we discovered there's a outside cat that is incredibly friendly. My kids loved her and named her Kitty soft Paws. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals, the beds were comfortable, decor was great. We walked the property and found plantains and many flowers. Outside one morning we had a group of Macaws fly over. For cleanliness we did have a bit of an ant problem when we arrived, but found some spray and killed them.

Stunning property! Highly recommend.

Beautiful home! When we entered the home, the views inside and out were stunning! Very open concept and you can see all the way to the pool and the beautiful grounds. The three bedroom 3 1/2 bath layout was perfect for a family, and laundry on site was a bonus. We cooked several meals while we were here and the open concept kitchen and dining area were perfect for meals and game nights. The old growth tropical plants around the property were breathtaking. There were lots of iguanas and geckos and tropical birds on the property, it was magical.

House is fine but needs some work. The "Wow" parts: Views, Wildlife (lizards sunning on roof!), stocked kitchen with dishwasher, art decor outside by pool area and in common areas, urinal and shower outside, flowers and plants outside, lots of sitting areas, 3.5 bathrooms, washer/dryer, AC in bedrooms and main areas, black out curtains in all BR'sThings that could use some updating/work: Kitchen ceiling in corner rotting/molding missing, some outlets without covers, some fans that don't work, fixtures have many dead bugs/dust, places where pics or TV used to be are now bare and messy plaster issues, downstairs full bath doesn't flush without manually lifting lid and pulling chain, pool coping is deteriorating, canopy over grill is rusty, lights around pool work sometimes, most lights in master br ceiling don't work, no covering on upstairs bathroom windows and one bathroom visible from stairwell; driveway treacherous to enter/exit and needs to be built up, deck loungers ripped/unusable, another broken chair sat haphazardly in yard, no board games in house which was weird for a VRBO, no full length mirror, dusty wrought iron railings inside, dusty windowsills too, WiFi doesn't work in 1/3 of the house - barely works in one upstairs BR and doesn't work at all in other BR.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and do not mean to be picky. We could have overlooked a handful of these items but with so many issues, we started seeing everything. The house was nice but not WOW.

Positives: home has lots of room and the open spaces are nice But- we will pick a different spot when we come back. Home had an odd smell when we arrived, definitely needs a lot of updating, windows are beautiful but dosnt look out to anything, beds hard and probably my biggest complaint was the communication with the property manager was awful.
