Just minutes from the natural beauty of Swallow Falls State Park and Herrington Manor State Park, this charming cabin offers the perfect escape into nature. This cozy cabin features one bedroom and one full bath, making it an ideal retreat for a peaceful and intimate stay. The surrounding natural beauty invites you to explore and reconnect with nature. Cuddle up and relax next to the fireplace after a day of exploring.

Situated near Swallow Falls State Park and Herrington Manor State Park, you'll have easy access to breathtaking waterfalls and scenic hiking trails. Whether you're into hiking, fishing, or simply soaking in the beauty of the great outdoors, you'll find plenty of opportunities for adventure and relaxation.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW: Minimum Age to Rent is 25 years old. Check-In is between 4 pm – 9 pm. Check-Out is by 10 am. Smoking/Vaping, Parties, Exceeding Max Occupancy or Pet Limit are not allowed.

WHAT TO BRING: Supplies are not provided; plan to bring all paper products, food/spices, coffee filters, trash bags, detergents, soaps, toiletries, household items, supplies and extra towels, if necessary. (Bed Sheets, Bath Towels, and Dishes are provided for max occupancy.)

WINTER RESERVATIONS: A 4WD vehicle is required to access rentals between November through April. Private driveways will not be snow-plowed unless and until there is 5 inches of snow.

RESERVATION PROCESS: (1) At time of booking- Electronically Sign the Rental Agreement to trigger your door codes and Pre-Arrival Information to be automatically sent. Door Codes will NOT be released without an e-signed agreement. (2) One day prior to arrival- You will receive Pre-Arrival Information that contains your door lock code, address and other important info. [If you do not receive it by noon that day, check your spam folder. If you still don't see it please call us directly to ensure a smooth check-in].

perfect little cabin!

I loved my 4 nights here! The cabin was clean & had everything that I needed. The location is perfect as well; it's a short walk to Swallow Falls State Park and a short drive to several other parks and hiking areas. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway!

Great location!!!

The cabin was located just a short walk to Swallow Falls State Park. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings and even saw deer behind the cabin! Definitely a relaxing and stress-free environment.

Great getaway

I'm a retired senior and a week at the Deep Creek Lake area was perfect. The cabin was exactly as described, quiet and near trails, state parks and the lake. Loved it!!

I stayed a week by myself and the cabin was just right. I ate my meals there but the town of Oakland was only a short drive away. Great bed and pillows. Plenty of pots and pans. Looking forward next year.

Perfect getaway

The cabin was very clean upon arrival. Check in and check out extremely easy and hassle-free. The location and size of the cabin were perfect for the two of us to celebrate our ten year wedding anniversary. Would definitely return.

Great little place that slept 4 adults. You may not have service, so don't rely on it. Easy to find, clean, and great atmosphere.

Weekend trip

It was exactly how it was described in the listing. Not a large part lice but comfortable and well furnished. Used it mostly instead of a hotel/motel. Close to a lot of state parks and fun things to do around deep creek lake. Definitely be willing to stay again.

Just what the doctor ordered!!

This was a beautiful property, especially when we arrived. It had snowed and the holiday lights were glowing, what a welcome!!! Inside is very cozy, perfect for 2 adults, it might be a little crowded with 4 adults. The location is convenient to trails, parks and stores. All in all, It was a beautiful, relaxing few days.

Nice Little Cabin

Very convenient to Swallow Falls. Adequate accommodations. The bedroom is very small making access to the bed difficult for 2 people. No WIFI access and cell data is weak.

Great for 2 people

This cabin was great for a romantic getaway for 2. The cabin had just about everything you could need in a kitchen - utensils, pots, pans, etc. It was small inside, but perfect for 2 people. If we had another person, it would have been tight. It was extremely close to 3 state parks which we enjoyed. The cell service was pretty bad, so we wish they had wifi there along with the TV so we could research places to go. Overall, we would stay again.

Getaway Cabin

This cabin was exactly what my girlfriend and I were looking for. The cabin was very tidy upon arrival, firewood was provided which was unexpected based on the listing, linens and cookware were in good condition, and the setup was very homey. Property was beautifully covered in snow all weekend with friendly locals and plenty of wildlife to watch while we sat on the porch swing for coffee. Would highly recommend for a couples getaway but wouldn't try to fit more than 3 at the most at this location if you plan on spending a lot of time at the cabin as we did.

Very clean and cozy

Cabin is very small but very comfortable and cozy. Bedroom is super tiny and doesn’t have to much space to move around in but it didn’t bother us. Everything was comfortable and very clean. Towels were provided and kitchen looked fully equipped with things you may need. We enjoyed out relaxing getaway in the mountains.

Quaint and cozy

Clean and well supplied little cabin, just right for 2 people. Fresh linens, plenty of towels for a week, good supply of kitchen dishes/cookware/utensils as well as coffee maker/ toaster and refrigerator. All the comforts - just lacking hooks/ towel racks and a place for clothes. Has a lovely front porch, however, cabin is situated close to the road which turned out to be less of a bother than our first impression anticipated. We would definitely choose this spot again.
