Lovely home with ample indoor and outdoor space!! Country living at its best!!!
The photos in VRBO described the property perfectly!! We were there for a 50th Anniversary celebration in West Virginia. There was plenty of room inside and out to hang out and enjoy each other’s company. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the house was very clean.
This house exceeded our expectations! The first thing is the bedrooms are so spacious!! There’s so much living space for our group of 7 to hang out and plenty of space to get some quiet and alone time, if you needed. The house was SPOTLESS! The porch was so much perfect to enjoy the outdoors. It gets VERY dark at night. Driveway lights could help, especially in the winter when the sun sets super early.
Kitchwn was amazing with high end appliances. Sunroom was perfect with enough reclining spaces for all four of us. Inside it was one of the best VRBO spaces I have ever rented. It was peaceful and quiet; however, our photos on line showed rocking chairs on the porch which were not there and it would have been nice as the weather was perfect. Our pictures on line showed a nice driveway but ut was barely passable threating to ruin my daughter's car. One of the pillow cases in the first bedroom was filthy and the downstairs bedroom, which was spacious and new, had no window treatments so my daighter was awakened each.morning by the brightness.I do wish there had been handrails on the second set of steps in the front as they are hard for older people to manipulate. And I was curious as to why the outdoor chairs in the back were blocking the sidewalk. We understood that the yard could not be cut because the lawnmower was broken but the yardwork around the house had also been neglected. All in all we had a great time but these few things detracted from our stay. Thanks to our host for allowing us to stay!
