Our family had a wonderful time at Kathleen’s home while visiting Acadia National Park. Everything was close by yet the home was peaceful on Green Lake with everything needed to relax and hang out.
This cabin is absolutely amazing !! The cleanliness of the cabin, location, and atmosphere made for the most perfect vacation in Maine ! This is a must book for family or couples a great hike just down the road if you want to stay close to cabin but still get all the feels of Maine ! Most of all the cleanliness for us and love shown in this rental ! Thank you for a wonderful trip !
This home was absolutely perfect for a relaxing lake getaway! My family loved taking day trips to Acadia, riding the Revolution Rail Co. along the lake, and spending quality time together at this beautiful property. The house was clean, spacious, and had a stunning lake front. Check-in was simple, the kitchen was well-stocked with appliances for cooking, and the property manager was friendly and easy to communicate with. A wonderful place all around!
This was a beautiful property, right on Green Lake. Nicely landscaped and very clean. We had everything we needed. Plenty of towels, blankets, fans etc. We visited Acadia National Park one day (about a 45 minute drive) and went to Fort Knox and Penobscot Narrows Bridge (an interesting old fort on the river and a bridge with a high observatory you can go up in by elevator). We also used the kayaks, canoe and paddleboat at the house to go out and explore the lake. We used the fire ring on the deck each night, and there was a nice sitting area on the deck to have meals. We had our morning coffee in the reclining chairs down by the water.
Perfect place if you enjoy water sports on a pristine lake. Home was beautiful and very comfortable. Providing the boats, dock and raft gave us all plenty to do throughout the day. We loved this cabin and location.
We had a wonderful time . Great location if you need supplies , Bangor is not too far away, otherwise enjoy days and days in the lake. Comfy beds. Hope to return
Owner was great with communications. House was perfect and had everything we needed. Provided the perect base to Acadia and we really enjoyed he Kayaks and Canoe.
We thoroughly enjoyed this home. The lake it sits on is beautiful, and it is close enough to Acadia, Bar Harbor, and surrounding areas to take daily trips there. First time in Maine, and although the weather didnt cooperate, the house made our time here very enjoyable.
The home and location are absolutely beautiful! The owners were very accommodating. The lake is breathtaking. The owners provided kayaks, a canoe and paddle boat in order to enjoy the lake. It was a great place to stay if you want to visit Bar Harbor and Acadia.
Great vacation spot! I highly recommend this property!
This was a very clean well appointed house with a beautiful view of Green Lake. My daughters and I loved it!

About the host

Our dream of waterfront property came true in 2010 when we bought this beautiful piece of land. We built the home over a period of 4 years with all the specifications we wanted for our eventual retirement haven. We've made many upgrades including a steel dock system and granite counters.
Why they chose this property
Conveniently located half way between Bangor and Acadia National Park - this area has so much to offer. Shopping, concerts, nightlife in Bangor & a slower paced coastal feeling in Ellsworth and Bar Harbor nearby.
What makes this property unique
Pristine new construction. This is not a typical camp - it's a beautiful home on the water with every feature for outdoor living - and wireless internet if you need to work while you vacation. There's so much to do & see. Nearby hiking trails & a beautiful all natural rock slide within hiking distance. Great fishing from our paddle boat, kayaks or canoe or bring your own fishing boat and go exploring on the 9 miles of beautiful lake that crosses 3 towns.
