Casa frente al mar con playa privada, patio y sala de juegos

Esta es una casa espaciosa y cómoda, justo en una playa familiar muy privada, que ha sido recientemente remodelada y renovada. Es una casa de dos pisos con cuatro habitaciones (king, king, queen y twins) y tres baños. Tres habitaciones, con camas King, Queen y Twin y dos baños se encuentran arriba; El otro dormitorio y baño King, junto con una gran sala de juegos que tiene un sofá cama, se encuentran abajo. Los dos pisos proporcionan una gran cantidad de espacio en el área común, lo que puede ser agradable incluso para las familias más cercanas (es decir, adolescentes versus adultos). Es perfecto para la familia extendida y puede manejar múltiples generaciones con facilidad.

Afuera, a solo unos pasos de la playa. Hay muchas sillas y tumbonas, un patio cercado con parrilla de gas, duchas exteriores y área cubierta para un poco de sombra. Simplemente una excelente ubicación en la playa!

La cocina totalmente equipada, la sala de estar y el dormitorio principal en la planta superior dan al océano Atlántico; y una cómoda terraza en el segundo piso con vista al océano puede brindar a los huéspedes una vista impresionante del amanecer sobre el agua. Perfecto para sentarse a la sombra y observar las actividades en la playa de abajo.

La casa está estratégicamente ubicada a medio camino entre el prestigioso Ponte Vedra y la histórica St. Agustín, que ofrece restaurantes, tiendas y recreación para todos. La casa limita al oeste con una reserva natural, y solo casas unifamiliares frente al mar como vecinos. Esto lo convierte en una experiencia de playa muy tranquila, relajante y segura.

Tenga en cuenta que esta es una casa para no fumadores y no permite mascotas. Además, la casa no puede usarse como un lugar para bodas, reuniones u otros eventos que acojan a quienes no se alojen en la casa. La persona responsable del alquiler debe tener al menos 25 años y alojarse en la casa, y el número máximo de huéspedes permitido es de diez.

Durante los meses pico de verano, junio y julio, solo ofrecemos alquileres de sábado a sábado de una semana. Además, puede haber otros períodos durante eventos especiales donde se aplican estadías mínimas o tarifas adicionales.

Perfect Vacation Spot

This house is perfect, especially when traveling with teenagers or young adults. There is plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The view is amazing! You feel like you are on the beach while in the house! Tom was so welcoming and easy to communicate with if you should need anything.Overall great place!

Wonderful!

The house was perfect for us! It was in a great location, peaceful, clean, and with plenty of room for all 8 of us. It was a short drive to St. Augustine, and we loved visiting the nature preserve behind the house (the entrance is about a mile away). We loved the outdoor space, which provided shade all day, and the outdoor shower! Communication was easy and timely. We have stayed in many beach houses over the years, and the vote was unanimous that this was the best one!

Great beach house

Tom's house is in a great location! You can walk off the deck into the sand. The ocean is his backyard. You can hear the waves when you go to sleep at night. We caught several species of fish, some we cooked and ate. Can't get any fresher than that! The nature preserve across the street is worth a visit. We drove into St. Augustine and had a couple of great dinners. The Spanish restaurant was the best. You will not regret staying at Tom's house!

Great home 10 feet from the Ocean

We had a total of eight in our family group and wanted a home by the ocean. This home is very spacious and only ten steps away from the beach. It allows your friends and family to spread out, enjoy playing games and eating together. Great location, near shopping and downtown.If you like walks on the beach and the water you found the right place!

Fall family getaway

Great location on the beachfront and perfect for a single family vacation. We stayed in September and the weather and water was a great temperature to be outside all day long. Recommend this spot.

Wonderful Family Retreat

Our family (6 adults; 4 kids) had an unbelievable stay at Tom’s property. The beach is secluded and the house is as close to the water as you can possibly get. The amenities in the house were great as we were able to split families between the upstairs and downstairs. We all loved the pool table and the outdoor shower, which made our evenings chill. The homeowner was awesome and attended to all our needs. Can’t wait to stay again!

Location, location, location

The location was beyond expectations. We were there for Memorial Day week and there were never more than fifty people within eyesight up and down the beach. Many times there were no people within eyesight. The house is literally ten steps from the beach. The only negative is that the house was not clean. Granted I am a type a person, but when my type b teenage daughter says it’s not clean then it needs a deep clean. The homeowner went above and beyond to make our stay nice. He checked on us to make sure we got there and during our stay. He also had the house stocked with all of the basics, like paper products, body soap, clothes soap, cleaning products. Overall this was one of our families best trips!

Dreaming of another vacation at this beach house

The house was spectacular. The host is wonderful. The views…the convenience…the everything. Enjoying the sunrise over the ocean while drinking a cup of coffee on the deck was so spectacular. As a mom with special needs kiddos, it was a treat to allow them to sleep in and know they were safe while I got “me” moments like this. When they woke, they enjoyed the quick walk down to the beach. If anyone had a melt down, it was a quick walk up to the house to get snacks, wash off with the outside shower and enjoy the house. This was a blessing to our family and we are thankful for this time away together in this beautiful beach house.

Great house in a spectacular location!

This is a very nice well equipped and comfortable home right on the beach. It was a perfect four day stay for six adults and a toddler. The lower level with kitchen, bathroom, and laundry is great for a young family. We had a fabulous time in the North Guana Preserve, the beach and exploring St. Augustine. The check-in process was simple and the owner readily available. We had a chance to meet and chat with owner. A great guy who clearly takes pride in the property and area. We highly recommend a stay at this home for anyone visiting the area!

Beautiful beach!

This beach could not be more beautiful! We loved the views and had a blast enjoying spending time on the deck and playing cornhole in the back. Everything we needed was provided. Our host was in constant communication and everything was super easy and convenient. Would definitely come again!

Great house for family vacation

We enjoyed our stay at this beach house. Everything we needed was available, all the rooms were spacious, and clean; the kitchen was well-stocked. Most importantly Tom was always promt to responses to our questions. We would definetely would recommend this beach house for a nice family vacation.

Lovely, Spacious House on the Beach that Feels like Home! The Beach is Your Backyard!

Ours was a short stay (unfortunately) prior to a Jaguars game, but it was lovely! We had everything we needed! Two levels facing the beach (ground and a wrap-around deck) provided maximum beach enjoyment. There are TVs everywhere in this house! Plenty of towels. Multiple restrooms. Games. Books. Lots of privacy. There's an outdoor shower for rinsing off sand. There's a kitchen with plenty of utensils. We cooked all but one of our meals, saving lots of money. Best of all, the place feels like a home; there's a warmth about it that we all enjoyed. Tom is an excellent host, very communicative, and is close by in case his guests need anything. I highly recommend renting Tom's place and we would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous Family Stay

Home exceeded my expectations, it was roomy, clean, and the views are second to none. We had 4 generations at home to celebrate my mothers 70th and we enjoyed every moment in this warm, welcoming home. We will definitely return!

Amazing Property and owner response time

Two adults in their 80's, and our adult children rented this wonderful home for 4 nights. It was so clean and comfortable! The layout of the home was perfect for us, as well as the location. Tom is an awesome owner, and we will definitely stay at his home again!

Tom Turnage is the owner of the house, was born and raised in Northeast Florida and is in the construction and real estate business. He and his wife, Laura, purchased the house in 2003 as a fixer-upper and have extensively remodeled the house since purchase. They started renting the house in 2004 and use the house for both personal use and as an investment. Tom is very active in the community and was a co-founder of the South Ponte Vedra - Vilano Beach Preservation Association.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The beach house is about 45 minutes from Tom's home and office in Jacksonville. He enjoyed surfing in the area growing up, and still loves the private, uncrowded nature of the beach. The house is far enough away from his Jacksonville home to feel like he's gotten away, but is close enough to escape the city even for a single night or just a day on the beach.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Peace and Quiet. The house is located between Jacksonville Beach and St. Augustine. It is surrounded by Guana State Park and the closest public beach accesses are almost a mile away. Probably one of the least crowded beaches in Florida. It is a great for those who want to get away from the rat race, but still be close enough that golf courses and good restaurants are a short drive away.
