Convenientemente ubicado, a poca distancia a pie de tiendas y DIRECTAMENTE de la segura playa de Hoopers Bay. Nuestras 3 habitaciones dobles y 2 baños en 2 niveles son ideales para familias que desean disfrutar de unas vacaciones tranquilas en la playa.
Dispone de aire acondicionado y Wi-Fi GRATUITO. También tenemos kayaks GRATUITOS para nuestros huéspedes más activos, mientras que en la playa tenemos tumbonas y duchas para quienes solo desean relajarse. Nuestros árboles de coco frente al mar proporcionan sombra natural cuando es necesario.
Situado a solo 12 minutos del aeropuerto internacional de Georgetown (código GGT) ya 6 minutos de la capital, Georgetown, mientras que una buena variedad de tiendas locales están a solo 5 minutos a pie.

Fantastic Holiday ! Great Spot!

Starting with great dialogue with Peter and Betty before booking. They answered all of our questions promptly. They assisted with transport from the airport (Thank you Rodney) and assisted us with a few food items for breakfast as we had asked. (We arrived on Sunday after local grocery stores were closed) Peter graciously met us at the house upon our arrival and not only familiarized us the home but also gave us an incredible overview of the island and all it had to offer. The house is a lovely beach front paradise , well equipped and was very clean. We spent a lot of time lounging on the amazing patio in the hammocks. The beach is beautiful. Very quiet and great for swimming, as well as visiting the local sea turtles very close by. The property included beach chairs and kayaks which we made full use of. We arranged to use Peters Van for a couple of days which allowed us to tour the island and Peter helped with a tour itinerary which was awesome!! The vacation was fantastic. The rental was a success!! A big Thanks to Peter for going above and beyond to make us feel at home!

Incredible view & wonderful hosts

We stayed in Coral Sands May 2-9, 2022. There were 3 couples… using 2 bedrooms upstairs & 1 bedroom in the efficiency apartment downstairs. Perfect for a group, plus privacy. The home is tidy & well stocked. Best of all, the AC blows cold when you need it! Hoopers Bay is one of the most beautiful spots on the island…pristine, sandy beach with clear, calm water AND sea turtles. We rented a 21’ boat for the week and kept it on the buoy a few feet off the shore. Every day was a new adventure…visiting neighboring islands for lunch and exploring all the snorkel spots. I highly recommend renting a boat! One couple went bone fishing with Captain Stevie while another went scuba diving with Dive Exuma (basic shallow diving with great service). We stocked up every few days at one of the nearby groceries and ate out several times… Driftwood Cafe, Shirley’s, Choppy Waters, Fannys, Santana’s, and BLU. All terrific. The included minivan was a life saver, spotless and easy to drive (left side!). Our stay was smooth and relaxing in large part due to Peter & Betty Oxley’s incredible responsiveness. They are thoughtful and thorough. Peter aims to anticipate your needs before you do! They organized our transport to and from the airport & booked our exit Covid tests at the Exuma Family Medicine Clinic in Georgetown. All went off without a hitch. Thank you again for a true vacation!

Ideal Exuma Location

What an amazing trip! We rented half of the Coral Sands property which can be rented in different combinations depending on your needs. It was nicer than the pictures online and for some reason Peter said this is a common comment he hears. It is right on one of the nicest beaches I've seen in this part of the world, soft sand, hardly any other people around, and fantastic for swimming, especially with young children without strong currents or overpowering waves. The sea is so blue it is almost indescribable. Peter was a wonderful host, making sure we got settled in and was available if we needed him. He works with a local cab driver who came to the airport to pick us up specifically, which made our arrival all the more fluid. Our two children ages 6 and 10 had a fantastic time. They probably would have been content to swim all day every day but we mixed in one adventure after another, snorkeling, Stocking Island, swimming with rays and sharks, a boat tour, fishing and endless exploring. Peter has kayaks which were great for exploring the bay. We took Peters advice and rented a car/van from him and were glad we did. We used it every day and thoroughly explored the island and beyond. We've been on other trips where we rented a car but one really wasn't needed but in this case it was good to have. The best part about Exuma was the people, they are uncommonly friendly and warm. Every little restaurant we went to was family run and we got to know the owners and heard some great stories of local life and culture. We mixed in a bonefishing trip with a local guide which was amazing. Exuma is more remote than some folks may be used to. There is a Sandals but other than that the island is not for those who need everything handed to them in a resort setting - but it is by no means roughing it either with several grocery stores and more restaurants than days to eat at them. With a little extra work and spirit of exploration Exuma has many treasures to reveal (don't miss out on duff for dessert) and this was a great home base to start our adventures from. High recommendations all around, particularly from our perspective with bringing young children, they want to go back already. We told them this was going to be a "no screens" vacation and Exuma swept them up so completely we never heard a peep of protest. Thank you Peter and Betty!

We moved to this island in 1999 from England and have lived here ever since as we love it so much !!
We owned & ran the very successful Coral Gardens B&B for 19 years which was listed as the # 1 B&B for Exuma for many years. We have a long track record as hospitality providers as previously in England, we had 15 years experience of operating a successful 40 person B&B!!
