Nestled in the serene landscapes of Bradford, NH, Zen Retreat Cabin is a modernized vintage cabin designed for true downtime—surrounded by wetlands, pines, and forest paths, yet just minutes from lakes, trails, and mountain day trips.

Inside you’ll find an open-concept living space, a fully equipped kitchen, A/C + heat for year-round comfort, and a curated library of books on nature, mindfulness, and personal growth. Unwind by the fire, journal with a view, or simply watch the light change over the wetlands.

Sleeping (up to 5 guests):

Primary bedroom (1st floor): Queen bed

Second bedroom (1st floor): Full bed + direct backyard access

Loft bedroom (2nd floor): King bed, barn-style doors, plus a half bath

Bathrooms: 1 full bath (main level) + 1 half bath (loft)

Step outside to a deck overlooking the wetlands, outdoor seating for coffee or stargazing, and easy access to the surrounding woods.

The house was perfect for our needs! It’s about 18 minutes from the ski slopes. The beds were super comfortable. The hosts left thorough instructions regarding the house and the activities in the area.

Lovely cabin getaway

We had an amazing stay at the cabin. It was clean, lovely, and well stocked with everything we could need. The location is in close proximity to hiking, skiing, and just 15 minutes from grocery stores. The large windows made for beautiful sunrises and stargazing in the evenings. We would definitely stay again!

Location was great for skiing at Mt Sunapee. Nice wood stove for a couple of those chilly nights. Very prompt snow removal of the driveway and front deck. We were able to cook full meals with the appliances and pots and pans available. Wish that there was a larger rug in the entrance way since there was salt and some small stones that tracked in each time. The rugs could use a little cleaning and maybe get a new mattress pad for the queen bed downstairs (urine stains on pad when we stripped the bed). Overall it was a comfy place to stay.

Very quiet area, barely ever heard the neighbors. Comfortable living room, well stocked kitchen-we cooked many meals, very comfortable beds. It was easy to make ourselves at home but not feel on top of each other. Loved that there was a fenced area out the back door for our dog Max, who also enjoyed using someone else’s bed! Entry was easy with the touchpad. My only suggestion would be to list closest grocery stores, gas station, pharmacy, etc. in the house book. Once off of WiFi and traveling, cell service is very spotty, if any. Took us some time to locate certain places. Other than that, we would definitely stay again, we made many new amazing memories!

Our decision to reserve a space away from home was last minute and timed with an extreme heat wave. Libby was very on point with her description of the home and the reviews that speak of the comfy beds and pillows are no joke. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean the home was and for the fenced in area out back for our small dog. We wanted for nothing while we were there and were even invited to share the personal items in the home, as long as we replaced anything we finished. If I could give one critique it would be to allow a little more space for visitors to unpack in the bedrooms on the first floor. You aren't far from restaurants, site seeing and antiques. If you are staying in, the Roku offers a lot of viewing options and there are games and puzzles to enjoy as well. I never played Yahtzee as well as I did that weekend! Thank you Libby!

Had a beautiful stay at this sweet little home! Libby was communicative and caring (above what we expected!) before, during and even after our stay! The home was clean and tidy and the kitchen was well equipped. We made dinner every night in the kitchen with our own ingredients and all the necessary tools were there to do so. Cast iron, stainless steel and yummy well water are all a welcome sight in my world! The beds were fresh and comfy, the space facilitated connection and it was just a sweet time. Perfect place for walks on country roads and a brunch at Sweet Beet - a fantastic little market and restaurant a mile down the road. Don't miss this little pocket of goodness for your next getaway.
