Larsen Log Cabin built in 2005 rest on a beautiful wooded site in the heart of Egg Harbor. Also now next door is The Larsen Lodge, King of the Village of Egg Harbor now available to book for your vacation! Enter 2879130 in the VRBO property search, we allow 2 night minimums!

To feel like you are vacationing in Door County, you need to be in the best part of Door County. The Door Peninsula is where it's at, and where we are at. The fun, the beauty, the water, the site seeing and all the activities surrounds you here at Larsen Log Cabin.
We are less than a minute away from the marina and beach, drop your boat in or go beaching at Village Park. Leave your car at the cabin; it's only a 5 minute walk into the village center where you can visit the Marina, Waterview Park, Village Park Beach, bakeries, grocery store, fine and casual dining, coffee shops, gift shops, parks, spas and saloons.
Enjoy all the activities to the extreme, from water skiing to cross country skiing and everything in between.

Our group had a great weekend getaway. Everything we could have needed was there, rooms were clean and spacious, and the hot tub was a group favorite at the end of each day. Being a stones throw from the heart of Egg Harbor was perfect, and we would absolutely spend another weekend away here. The host, Paul, was easy to get ahold of, and the communication was seemless.

Great Spot for a Women's Getaway

The cabin is rustic looking yet fully modern, and very roomy, with a bed for each of the five women in our group. Location is fabulous, tucked in the woods yet within blocks of numerous cafes and shops in town.

I grew up in Baileys Harbor known as the quiet side of the Door County Peninsula. Graduated High School 1979 in Fish Creek. I still live in Baileys Harbor on the west side of Kangaroo Lake with my wife and 4 children. I became an electronics technician and own/operate Larsen TV Sales and Service since 1981. My wife has been in the Banking Business and Retail Management for over 20 years.

Why they chose this property

I was on a TV Service Call at a beautiful log home and told the customer how much I loved his log home and chinking. He brought me out to his barn where there was a complete unassembled 1861 school house stacked in logs on his floor. I bought it and moved it into the Village of Egg Harbor where I already owned a beautiful wooded piece of property.

What makes this property unique

We sand blasted all the debris off the logs and assembled this historic 1861 log home because I wanted to restore this part of history. The log portion of this home has become the dining room and living room and gives off so much charm and comfort. The rest of this over 2000 square foot home is stick built that we nicely blended in with the cabin.
