A wonderful 2 night stay at the Urban Barn. Wonderful charming space that suited the two of us on a girls trip. Parking was easy, the property was secure and private with a gate entry requiring a code. Walkable neighborhood with restaurants and shopping nearby. Easy access to downtown Portland. Will keep this property in mind for a future trip to Portland!

Loved the Barn

We stayed in the Urban Barn for just a short time while in Portland for a graduation. The property was very clean and comfortable and in a fantastic neighborhood! Wish we could have spent a few more days there to explore and are looking forward to returning someday!

Beautiful and artfully decorated

The "Barn" is very upscale, beautiful and comfortable. In addition, the location is perfect - walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, pubs and shopping. Loved this spot and look forward to coming back!

Wonderful place to stay

I would stay there again in a heartbeat! Wonderful place. In fact, I wish there had been more time to enjoy it (was in town for a conference) because it’s the perfect environment to hide away for a couple of days. The location is phenomenal, with top notch food/coffee options on a block or two away.The owner was great with communication and a very warm host.I highly recommend all around!

Hospitality is in my DNA, having previously managed vacation rentals in Nicaragua and on Maui. I'm a passionate backpacker, fly fisher and cyclist and gardener, growing perennials and organic vegetables. I love to eat and seek out new fine dining opportunities as well as unique food trucks and I'm happy to share them with you. During your stay, I can lay low, offering privacy or be a resource for your intro to Portland's many interesting offerings. For inspiration, these evocative words speak volumes to me.
