The Echtra cabin was well appointed and in a very nice location. A lot of construction in the area, and thus many loud trucks passing by, especially in the mornings. Furniture was a bit worn, but the beds were comfortable and spacious. All in all a nice stay, the weather was great and we had a very good time.

Our family loved being together in this beautiful home! There were 3 families, and we all had plenty of room! The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms and kitchen were clean. It was easy to get to from the city of Whitefish. We appreciated being able to put one car in the garage.

Yearly ski trip

Beautiful house, great for our group! Close to the slopes and Whitefish for shopping! Very well maintained and serviced. Nice big kitchen for preparing meals and dining area for gathering.

Absolutely loved this cabin and the management team. Everything was super easy and their communication was top notch. Checking in and checking out was a breeze and they were incredibly helpful during our stay. The house itself is absolutely amazing. So much room, great for group vacations. We were a chill bachelor party of 10 guys staying in August and ended up hanging out at the house more than we expected because it was so nice, so roomy, and such a great spot. It was also an excellent location. No super close neighbors, totally peaceful, a few minutes from the lodge area and only 15 minutes from downtown Whitefish. We will 100% stay here again.

Family Reunion Getaway

This home is lovely. The space in the home was perfect for three sets of families, a total of 11 people. The location is minutes away from downtown and not to far of a drive to Glacier Park. We definitely recommend this home for anyone looking for a mountain getaway trip.

Beautiful home

Spent a week here as a home base for Glacier Natl Park and all things in the Whitefish area. House was very clean and had everything our party of 10 needed. Check-in at the lodge was easy and they were very responsive when we had an issue with the dishwasher and a smoke detector that was chirping bc it needed new batteries. There was an extra fee for the hot tub setup, but it was worth it. Beds were very comfortable, but pillows throughout the house were not great. If you aren’t picky, you’ll be fine. Otherwise bring your own if possible. Overall I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Family Vacation

The house was excellent for 7 adults. We enjoyed slot of summer activities like hiking in the park, hot air balloon rides, mountain biking and side by side trail riding. I highly recommend this house.

Perfect for Multi-Family Getaway

Our annual ski trip included kids this year. The downstairs area was perfect for them. Great location. Easy checkin and convenient shuttle service. The house had absolutely everything we needed. Couldn’t have asked for more. We had just a fabulous time.

Family Vacation

This property was a very beautiful home that was extremely clean and our family of nine had plenty of room throughout the home. We spent a good portion of our time at glacier national Park, and it was about 45 minutes to get inside the entrance which seemed reasonable given the nice home that we stayed in. The home was extremely well-maintained and clean. It was very close to the town of whitefish was it was a fun break from the park with good food and restaurants.

Fantastic stay!

We had 8 of us in the house and it was set up perfectly for us. The team that checked us in and our shuttle driver who hauled us back up to the house after we missed the last lifts were excellent. We cooked dinner and breakfast in and the kitchen was well put together for our needs. We made excellent use of the hot tup and had some pretty fierce ping pong matches. Overall, the trip and stay were excellent and can't say enough about the staff we interacted with. Thank you!

Great property - anxious check in

This is a great property and a great place to spend time in with friends. The space is very functional and I would absolutely stay here again! The check in process is just a bit odd if you don’t arrive in town before the main office closes at 5:30. Having to wait to get a key from a security team member in a empty check in office at the main ski mountain office made our crew a bit anxious for a moment or two. The security member was very easy to work with and we very much appreciate his time. We had to return to the office the next day to complete the check in - not convenient, but the staff was great. In all, we loved the space!

Great Family Accomodations

The Echtra Cabin provided perfect accommodations for our group of 6 adults (2 couples, 2 grandmothers) and 6 children (aged 12-4). The bedrooms were spacious and well placed to assure privacy and comfort. The open-living kitchen, dining and living room allowed everyone to be part of the party and enjoy all the comradery. We were perfectly located to enjoy the amenities of the resort, both Whitefish & Whitefish lake and Glacier National Park. We were also pleased with the included transportation provided by the resort from our cabin to various points of interest at the resort. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, pots, pans, crock pots and utensils. We all enjoyed the hot tub and visiting deer, hummingbirds and ptarmigan. The staff was most responsive and professional with a welcoming attitude. Great Family Vacation!

Served Its Purpose

Overall it was good. Minor issues due to no instructions on anything (ie thermostat, fireplace, door locks, hot tub). Also, random maintenance man would come onto the property daily without notifying anyone. Other than than it was the perfect set up for a group of friends. Still would recommend and the staff was great to work with throughout the process.

ROOMY WITH A VIEW! GREAT GROUP GET-AWAY!

Our party of 12 fit perfectly in this gorgeous "cabin." The Great Room/Dining/Kitchen area is its best feature with plenty of space and amenities for gathering, cooking, and entertaining. The list of features is endless and we had absolutely EVERYTHING we needed to make our vacation enjoyable. The owners did a top-notch job with the luxurious and convenient design of the Echtra Cabin. We were told we were the first guests so we experienced a few "bugs in the system" that will probably be worked out for the next party and so, not worthy of lowering the rating: 1.) The Ski-In/Ski-Out distinction was a little sketchy. The ski-way to the neighborhood lift wasn't groomed until the third day of our stay and that made a huge difference. Beginners had some trouble maneuvering the snow plow berms for access to the ski-way. 2.) Some in our party had difficulty with the temperature settings in their rooms. 3.) We had a trouble accessing Netflix and Amazon (maybe just need more detailed instructions?), and could not find the password for the Sonos sound system, but Alexa was always at the ready with music, knowledge, and light-switch duty. 4.) BYOB - Bring Your Own Blow-dryer. We can't say enough about the Whitefish Mountain Resort cast and crew: friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. The driveway and road were maintained every morning. The hot tub was serviced every day. We always have a wonderful time at "Big Mountain" thanks to the accommodating staff, fabulous lodging options, and beautiful location and snow conditions.

Amazing stay

Great house for a larger group vacation!

The house was really nice and comfortable. Property needs some newer furniture, but otherwise was great!
