Everything was magical. From the comfortable beds to the kitchen, where all the cabinets were labeled. Sitting outside in the morning with coffee looking at the view, beautiful. Loved the peace and quiet.

We were in the area for a wedding at Lovingston Winery. House was great, plenty of room for our family. Enjoyed the fire pit and the sights. Any questions we had were answered quickly. Very thankful for the paved driveway. I would definitely book again. My youngest son enjoyed beating his older brothers at Foosball, the area down stairs was awesome and entertaining. Thank you for sharing your house with our family.

The cabin was well prepared with the basics we needed. Kitchen was well stocked and wood rack was full for the wood stove. Linens were high quality and the property well maintained

This serene, peaceful property with a gorgeous treetop setting made our vacation so memorable. Coming from the Southwest, we were enthralled with the size of the trees and all of the green foliage. We hung out on the balcony that was complete with rocking chairs, roasted marshmallows at the fire pit, and thoroughly enjoyed the downstairs basement with toys and foosball. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment, spices, and coffee, a must have. Our family had plenty of space to spread out and privacy with 3 bedrooms and a bunkroom. There were plenty of towels, pillows, and bedding. This home was only 15 min to our daughter's house in Faber, so getting together with our large group between the 2 houses was easy - 17 members and 5 children under the age of 4. Kids were kept very busy with the "playroom" and discovering rocks and mushrooms outside. We made memories and had lots of family time -- beautiful pictures. Thank you for the lovely setting and a place to call home. If we converge on VA again, we'll definitely see if this home is available.

Perfect Family Getaway in the Woods!

Our stay at this charming cabin in the woods was nothing short of perfect. Tucked away in a peaceful, forested area, it offered the ideal mix of rustic charm and modern comfort—perfect for our family reunion / wedding. The cabin was incredibly family-friendly, with plenty of entertainment options for all ages. We had a blast with the foosball table, dart board, video games, and poker table, which made for some memorable game nights. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked—not just with cookware and dishes, but also with a great selection of spices and baking supplies, which made cooking meals easy and enjoyable. The thoughtful touches continued throughout the home, like nightlights in the hallways for safety and convenience, and high-quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the bathrooms—way better than the typical travel-sized stuff you usually get.Outside, we made great use of the firepit for s’mores and stargazing, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature. There was plenty of outdoor seating, and it really felt like our own little private retreat. All in all, this cabin was a fantastic value and had everything we needed (and more) for a relaxing, fun-filled family reunion.
