About the host
Hosted by Lucia Scott Derks
I am originally from Columbia, South Carolina, and I have been escaping to upstate lakes and mountains my entire life. I strive to provide the kind of tranquility mixed with activity that I would personally want on my vacation. This home with serene lake views, a fully stocked kitchen, and large bedrooms with mostly king sized beds provide all of the relaxation needed. The provided kayaks, paddleboards, fishing rods, and noodles help with the sense of adventure, all without leaving the property.
Why they chose this property
Private lake fully stocked with crappie, small mouth bass, blue gill, and catfish. The lake itself is so serene, and it's uncommon to see more than one boat on the lake at any given time.
What makes this property unique
This house is so spacious, much more so than other properties on the same lake. It really provides the sense of calm we can all achieve by feeling like we can be together with our loved ones, but not too crammed together.
