Great lake house, beautiful views!

Enjoyed a great week in the lake house while staying in the area for a youth baseball tournament. In our downtime, we enjoyed using paddle boards and hanging out enjoying the beautiful lake views. Very clean and well equipped property, we had a few questions and the property manager was very helpful and responsive. Would definitely consider this house again if we ever come back to the area.

We planned a month-long trip to Georgia (our old stomping ground) over the 2025 Christmas/New Year holiday - visiting our granddaughter, adult children/spouses, friends, & family. We wanted a home that would give everyone enough space to spend quality time together without feeling crowded; The Waleska Lake House turned out to be the perfect choice for our family. Michelle was quick to respond to all my questions about the property, both before we booked & during our stay - she was friendly, responsive, & very helpful. The entry-level has three bedrooms & a comfortable living area where our adult children could relax. The lower level, which opens to the backyard, includes the primary bedroom, kitchen, dining area, & the main living space. The house was spotless, well-stocked - designed for long-term stays. The floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lake were stunning - enjoyed the view every day. The photos matched the home’s appearance exactly. It’s in excellent condition. We loved the fire pit & walking trails. The gated community is a little remote, but not to far from Publix, Target, Costco, HomeGoods, & casual restaurants. My sweet sister brought an unused Christmas tree & holiday decorations, which made the season feel like Christmas. Our stay was truly wonderful, creating memories that will last a lifetime. We would wholeheartedly recommend this home & look forward to coming back again. (Recommendations: Williamson Bros BBQ -20min, & Little Alley Steakhouse -50min)

Why they chose this property

From my first view of the home and lake, I felt like I was descending on a small Italian village nestled in the mountains of northern Italy. Waleska is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet close enough to take advantage should one want to partake. I love that there are many accessible amenities, allows for one to enjoy the great out doors and even enjoy Georgia wine country not too far away, all in one.
