The house has a unique and well-executed layout that allowed the kids and adults to have their own space. The kids, of course, had the first floor with the game room. The grill is electric which I had heard of but never used until this trip. I was skeptical but it was one of the best grilling experiences I have ever had.Overall, it was a great weekend.
Excellent location, we loved the multi-level bedrooms to provide privacy to the different couples. Hot tub was A M A Z I N G…game room fun and minutes away from Boyne and Petoskey both!!
The stay was perfect. The kitchen was stocked and everything worked as it should. We had 7 people and never had any hot water issues. There are TV’s everywhere and they are Roku, so we could login to all of our accounts to watch the games we wanted to see. The hot tub was amazing after a day of skiing as well. The host was very responsive and a pleasure to interact with.
We had a great stay! House was clean. Kitchen was SUPER well stocked. Location is great and the community pool was very very clean (though chilly). AC ran fabulously and though it is a small lake house, it fit 6 adults and 4 kids without us wanting to kill each other!! Owner was very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Thanks Katie! We’re sooo happy you enjoyed your time! We definitely pride ourselves on communication, it’s a big deal! Come back again!
Overall a great stay! Very cute updated property, and a great location. Loved everything - great Wi-Fi, fire pit area, game area, living space, bedroom arrangemens, and kitchen. We ended up not using the hot tub by our choice, but it looked niced. Hosts were incredibly responsive to any questions/communications, and very reasonable check-in/check-out procedure. We had 7 adults and 2 toddlers so a bit of a tight squeeze of our own choosing, but we would definitely stay here again!

Thanks for the incredible review Meagan! Our kids always love when they can go back to the Boyne house with the arcade and games! Your crew is welcome back anytime!
We had a family with a group of adults, elderly, and infants and this house had the space and options for all to enjoy. Beautiful balcony with views. Close and convenient drive to many nearby towns and vineyards. We were able to enjoy the hot tub and fire pit as well on just our last day. Temperature control consistency throughout all floors a bit of a challenge (as with many homes) but Fans provided in each room as well. Nice kitchen space and supplies provided. Recommend this stay for those looking for space and a central spot to travel from.

Thanks for the glowing review Sneha! We're so glad your whole family enjoyed the space, views and central location!
We had two families together with little kids (6-8), and we all had a total blast. The house is absolutely amazing, stunningly designed, and it feels like a high-end retreat with all the coziness of a cabin/ski chalet as well. The beds were unbelievably comfortable. The kids loved the bunk room and the game room. And the hot tub was awesome, clean, and hot on a freezing winter weekend. We look forward to returning for another ski weekend! We took the kids to Boyne Highlands and then the next day to Avalanche Bay water park, and both were a huge hit.

Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Expected better.
The house is pretty old, not the cleanest. The owner def needs to work on his communication and description of the property. Would not stay there again.

We’re sorry to hear the stay didn’t meet your expectations. We pride ourselves on prompt and clear communication before, during, and after each reservation, as we did with yours, and we make ourselves readily available to assist with any concerns that arise—something many guests have appreciated and reflected in our consistent 5-star reviews across multiple platforms and properties.
The home is accurately represented in the listing with detailed photos and descriptions to set clear expectations. While we understand that not every property is the perfect fit for every guest, we remain committed to providing a clean, comfortable space and great service to those who choose to stay with us.
Our family spent the week at this nice comfortable home for Fall break. This was our first visit to this area and hope to visit again. The rooms at this quaint chalet were clean and decorated beautifully. The hot tube was clean and was a nice addition after a long day of outdoor activities. It was very thoughtful having extra towels available when using the hot tube. We enjoyed the fire pit sitting around the fire while the young ones ran around in the yard. Because we had young ones, having the use of a washing machine and dryer was a huge plus. The kitchen was stocked pretty good. It would’ve been nice to have a few more extra kitchen hand towels, dish rags and a kitchen sink strainer plug when hand washing dishes. Overall, we give it an A.
