We very much enjoyed our stay in Toby‘s property. The location really cannot be better, with some very nice restaurants in walking distance and of course the museum right across the street. The neighborhood is lovely and there is a very posh Wegmans less than 10 minutes down the road. We enjoyed both going out and cooking in the property and had everything we needed. Toby was super responsive and communicative throughout our stay when we had a little questions. We found it exceptional to find a property that had two bedrooms AND two bathrooms, which makes all the difference when everybody’s trying to get ready to go somewhere together. The property is spacious with high ceilings downstairs and we really felt that we could spread out comfortably. We would definitely stay here again.

Was a perfect property for a wedding we were in town for. Morning of stay I hadn’t received instructions for arrival so I did have to request the door code which was not a huge deal. There was an overwhelming smell as soon as we entered the condo and as we investigated we noticed the trash barrels were overflowing in the garage. After asking if we could move them outside the smell had dissipated throughout all the floors and made they stay more enjoyable. Beds were fairly comfortable but that’s about all we used the stay for was to sleep. Most guests were staying at hotel around the corner and that’s where we spent most of our time.

Gorgeous apartment, stylish and comfortable. Great location. Seems to be a thing in Rochester for cars to have loud muffler..that was annoying at night but otherwise a fantastic stay.

Perfect rental in the heart of the Art District

My husband and I were visiting friends in Rochester and we love the arts district. This unit was located directly across from the memorial art gallery.It was very clean and nicely decorated, and it had a desk area that my husband could do some work.

Small getaway

Very clean and nice location. Concerned about 2 flights of stairs with bathrooms on top floor. This wasn’t included in listing. A bit noisy at night.

Not what we quite expected. If we knew there were so many steps up to the kitchen/living room & another many steps to the bathrooms/bedrooms we wouldn’t have booked it. There was nothing in the summary that said there were steps. My husband & I are in our 70’s. It was very hard to endure all that time. The bathrooms were very small also.

We contacted the owner that we were having problems with the toilet had to go buy a plunger the water pressure was not good enough to flush the toilet. The sink in the bathroom smelled like sewer when you turned on the water there was also either a very large mouse or a rat.Somehow, there was a large leak that came all over the kitchen table and floor when we got a towel to clean it up the floor was filthy as wellSurprised the beds were clean and comfortableThe owner said he would get a hold of me shortly never got a hold of me

Almost excellent

As noted above, the location and property description were great. There was an issue with the wifi though, which caused too much communication with the owner and manager. We initially were not provided the router name and there were 20 networks available. Second, the password did not work (from any of our 4 devices). At one point in a text string I received "I don't know what to tell you, several other guests have had no problem" - which was not helpful at all. It turned out that the default name and password were listed on the back of the router and we were able to log in with those credentials.The space initially appeared very clean and inviting, until we came across the long black hairs on the floor and in the shower stall in the master bathroom. Ugh.If the above issues are addressed, the rental is really quite nice. Great walkable location, garage parking in the city, comfortable beds and surprisingly quiet at night. The potential to be an excellent VRBO choice is there.

Townhouse was clean, full of light, with comfortable beds and equipped kitchen. A/C worked well on the hot days, and the washer & dryer also were fully functional. There are stairs from the garage up to the main level, and another set up to the bedrooms, so that's something to keep in mind for anyone with mobility issues.

The property was very nice and clean. Location is right at art district. Parking no problem with SUV but could be for a truck. Food and shops within a mile. There are two staircases. We had no problem with this but it is something to know if you have a hard time with steps. I would definitely stay here again.
