The First Floor Has Your High Efficiency (he) Washer And Dryer, As Well As The Recreation Room With A Sofa Bed. Please Bring/buy High Efficiency Laundry Detergent. The Rec. Room Is Great For Movies, TV, And Board Games. It Has A 50" smart TV With Blu Ray Player and a ceiling fan. Let the kids play! You won't even hear them when you're upstairs enjoying the great room.

On The Second Floor, The First Bedroom On Your Left Is the Main bedroom With A Queen Bed And Private Bath. This amply-sized bedroom has a DVD player and 50" smart TV. Bring your Netflix password. The Other Two Bedrooms On This Floor Are Connected With A Jack And Jill Bathroom. One Has A Queen Bed And The Other Is A Kids' Room With A Single (twin) And A Double (full). Both Bathrooms Have Tubs. The property was super clean and organized. Our weather wasn't that great so we didn't sit on beach or the pool for that long. Location of property was an easy walk to shops and easy access to beach!

Great family getaway!

OohLaLa was a perfect fit for our family! From everything baby and children specific, baby gates, toys and comfort to great pool time for us adults! Avon is a great town with everything so close and convenient. We definitely recommend Oolala to all!

Comfortable House in a great location

A great place to enjoy time at the beach! House is comfortable and well-appointed, with loads of great spaces inside and out. The screened-in porch was a welcome place to relax in the evenings, and the pool was so much fun - especially in the evenings with the underwater lights on!

Awesome home in Avon

We really enjoyed our stay at Ooh La La. You can really tell that Jennifer loves her property and is happy to share it with guests. We’ve been staying on Hatteras Island for over 10 years and this has been one of our favorite spots. Decorated nicely and has everything you might need for a beach stay!

Awesome house and perfect location. The owner was very responsive and super friendly.Highly recommend this property, definitely a 10 out of 10! Listing is exactly as described, just be sure to bring your own towels becuase I totally missed that in the listing, my fault. This is a great house if you have kiddos and a big family like us, plenty of room for everyone. We will be staying here again in the future for sure!

Awesome family vacation.

We had a great time and would highly recommend! We visited with our 3 children and 2 sets of grandparents. Plenty of room to all be together or spread out into our own spaces. Our girls loved the pool. Thanks again for a great experience!

What a great place to stay! The house was super clean and had an amazing kitchen with everything you would ever need to prepare a great meal. The deck off the bedrooms was a perfect place to relax in the shade and feel the ocean breeze. The top deck had views of the ocean and sound and was a great place to sit in the evenings. We will be back!

Great House and pool!

We loved the house and pool. Very nice kinda wish laundry and main living were on same floor. The "kids room" my kids thought was creepy so maybe simple upgrades would help (decor). Never had any issures during our stay! It was hot and humid so we spent most of time in pool! Location to the beach wasmt bad but its a long walk on the sand to get to the ocean and the Dunes all look the same so we got lost on the beach... markers would be great. So many things to explore we had a great time!

Just perfect!

This was the cleanest home we’ve stayed at since visiting the OBX for 20 years now! We met the owner upon early check in, and you could just tell she was so proud of the home which obviously shows. Communication was just great from day 1. The home has absolutely everything you could think of and you could tell a lot of thought was put into every little detail. The walk to the beach is just 5 minutes and it’s a nice broad beach area for plenty of privacy. The pool was just perfect and very clean. The neighborhood was very quiet. We just absolutely enjoyed this hike and experience and highly recommend. We will most definitely be staying again at Ooh La La!

Great family home in Avon

We had a wonderful week at Ooh La La with our four kids, ages 12-21. The house was immaculate when we arrived and had everything we needed and more! Comfortable beds and pillows, great layout for bedrooms and living space, multiple deck areas, and well stocked kitchen. We made most of our meals at home and had everything we Needed. Even a pan for make a birthday cake for our daughter. Close to beach and walking distance to Avon restaurants and pier. We would recommend Ooh La La for a great week in the Outer Banks!the

Spacious

Beautiful space and property. The house is nice and spacious for multiple families. Pool was very nice and nice temperature. Quick walk to the beach. Has lots of beach things so you can pack light on this end- shed by pool has toys, floats, chairs. Some things you will need are sheets for the beds, bathing towels and kitchen towels. Really enjoyed the area and the places that were walkable for coffee, sweet treats, ice cream, dinner. Extra bonus for us were the baby gates and booster high chair.

Surprised

Having stayed in rentals at the Outer Banks numerous times, I have to say I loved Ooh La La. The home was very clean, kid friendly including gates for the stairs. The home was simply decorated so I didn't have to worry about nick nacks being broken by toddlers. The kitchen was one of the best stocked I've ever seen. The host was easy to communicate with and responded in a timely manner to my messages. If you are in serious need for some carefree salt therapy, this is the place for you. We're already planning next year's trip.

Good location in Avon

The place was very spacious for a family of eight. We bought an inflatable bed since three of the room had only a single bed and the two nephews were not going to share a bed together. The first-floor game room has a sofa that convert into a bed but the fridge in that room was extremely noisy. The kitchen had all the cooking appliances available to you and the grocery store was less than three miles away, which was very convenient. The short walk to the beach was nice. You past two residential homes and the steps to the path to the beach was right there. We're very pleased with our stay and would recommend anyone who is looking for a location that's right near the beach and shopping not too far away as well.

Ooh La La was wonderful

From beginning to end, Jennifer was a wonderful host. The house went above and beyond our expectations. It was extremely comfortable, clean and the kitchen had everything you can imagine to make a beach stay so much easier. We cooked a lot of meals in with our family and the kitchen was perfect. The pool was an added bonus. It was very clean and well-maintained and we enjoyed a lot of family time there. Close proximity to the beach was also very convenient! I would highly recommend Ooh La La for your vacation!

Great location with a pool

Property was all we could ask for in a place by the beach. You are 50 yards from the beach access. There is a pool to cool off in if you don't want to walk to the beach. The place is clean and had plenty of room. Would stay there again.

We are a family of five and live in Avon. We love visitors to our island and want to share the Hatteras Island lifestyle with you. In our opinion, Avon (historically named Kinnakeet) is the best village on Hatteras Island! Stay a week, or two! Ooh La La! The Mrs. worked for a local rental company for five years before having the kids, so we are familiar with your needs and ready to answer all your tourism related questions. The Mr. was raised here in Kinnakeet, and has worked in rental homes his whole life (it seems like)! Actually, he owns and operates Hatteras Island Air (HVAC) and loves doing it. He has done all the renovating at Ooh La La while the Mrs. takes care of two active kids and teen, and Ooh La La! Both the house and kids are sources of great pride! We love pets, but Ooh La La is a no pets house. It's nice to have a break from taking care of the pets, too.

When we bought this gorgeous 4 bedroom home it needed some love, and we are excited to have you stay and see all the improvements we made! Ooh La La was bare when we bought it in December 2014. We have thoroughly enjoyed renovating and furnishing it. Brand new furniture! Brand new kitchen floor, cabinets, and counter tops! As a work in progress, we will add little (or big) touches to it throughout the years. Give us your feedback! We plan to own and enjoy Oh La La for a long time!

Should you have any questions, we are here to help. If there is a maintenance issue, we are close by to handle it. In fact, the Mr. is quite handy and owns and operates a local heating and cooling company, Hatteras Island Air. Any heating and cooling issues, we've got you covered!

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The walk to the beach is short-- our five year old can do it! You will be the fourth house back. The beach access is part stairs with boardwalk, and part sand path. The dune is not super tall. Also, Avon has beach driving access (permit required), as well as many other drive-on ramps on the island. If you've never been to South Beach in Frisco, you should try it. The drive is a short twenty minutes, turn left on Billy Mitchell. Hatteras Island is a special place, and beach driving is one of the things that makes your experience unique. (Four wheel drive and permit required.) Build a little beach fire and enjoy!

A little windy for the beach? You've got your own pool at Ooh La La! Hang out! Don't even leave the house!

Bring your bicycles. You will be in a great area for bike riding. Ride around Beachcomber Drive, or take Avon's sidewalk and go to the village and check out Kinnakeet Clay.

Kite boarding? Kite Point is just four miles south! Wind surfing? Canadian Hole is the same distance. Surfing? Take your pick along the coast. You can get to the S-turns in Rodanthe in twenty minutes. Buxton in ten minutes. Avon Harbor is about a mile away to launch a boat or kayak.

We love walking up the stairs to the top floor of Ooh La La and the first thing you see is the ocean view! Ooh La La! You will love it too! Watching the sunset from the top deck is awesome. Watching the sunrise from your breakfast table is awe inspiring!
