My stay was awesome. I can’t wait to go again. The owner was fabulous. He went that extra mile for us with such a beautiful place overlooking the water lake Sebago nice little store right Handy to it just a fantastic place.
Relaxing area and direct access to the beach. Managers very communicative and very quick to respond. Room was rustic which is what I was looking for and was comfortable. Room had all the extras needed. Ie: dishes towels etc. A great stay and very friendly people.

Thank you for your great, informative review, Terry! We gave you a 10 out of 10 as well. You will always be welcome.
Great property in the best location! Quiet area, and the beach walk MIGHT have been 2 minutes. Anything you could have needed was provided in the condo. It was super clean! We could not have asked for a better stay!
Only concern was that space heater did not provide sufficient heat for the room....otherwise, it was a nice location for the last 2 days of our trip.

Cabins are extremely rustic and I was not prepared for such a stay. Photos were beautiful, however I wish I prepared better.

Unfortunately, this was not a good experience. While the host was excellent in communication and responsive, the location was perfect and convenient, the cottage was not. The mattress was like 2 box springs on top of one another and I did not sleep a wink . My back took a beating. The blanket was dirty and the pillow cases had remnants of dust and othere debris so I flipped them over. One of the windows next to the bed had a large glass cracked and cold air was going through. The place was indeed clean and very rustic. I grew up in a 600 person town so I'm familiar with rustic places. Unfortunately this was not a great time. Respectfully suggest getting a new mattress different linen.

Hello MJ Tunstall,
I regret that your stay in Oakleaf was not a good experience. Thank you for the excellent rating for the host and for the location. It's too bad you didn't tell me about the problems you encountered with the cottage. The bed linens had been changed a few hours before your arrival. We would have immediately changed the bed linens again and added a mattress topper to the top of the stiff mattress. Guests have a range of preferences for mattresses. Our beds have medium stiff mattresses, to satisfy as many guests as possible, and we will add a mattress topper if requested.
We would also have plugged the draft from the window and turned on the space heater.
Sincerely,
Stewart
