The house was clean and the communication with the host was great, however the bed was very uncomfortable and the road it was on had heavy traffic which contributed to our lack of sleep.

The property is very cute both indoors and outdoors. It’s clear they put a lot of work into remodeling it, and although there are some old features, and overall is a comfortable stay. I really appreciated how responsive the hosts were as we had a couple issues especially late at night. It definitely was the nicest place within the area by a long shot and it was nice having the privacy in the space itself.

We enjoyed our stay here! The location is about 15 minutes from downtown Portland. It also has a Walmart within about 5 minutes so it was a quick detour to pick up a few things for the stay. We had five in our group and had plenty of room. The house was clean and was stocked well with towels, dish soap, etc. The road next to the house is very busy but the noise wasn't too bad inside with the air conditioners running. Overall, the house was a great choice for our visit to Portland!

10/10 trip, I’d stay here again. Perfect for families with kids. Very clean, well stocked with necessities. There’s a business in the back that is owned by the host, but still felt private.

A great stay!

Check in process was very easy! Only brief issue was getting water from the fridge, but after a while, it worked just fine.

Didn’t realize this was on a main road but it wasn’t too busy. It’s a more rural location. The AC units kept the house very cool and the noise helped. The downstairs bathroom is a bit away from the master and it has a timed light that cycled off while I was in the shower. Gave me a good laugh. Just turn vanity light on before you start. Very basic amenities but we had a good stay and it was a good location for the price.

We really enjoyed our time at the farmhouse. It was comfortable and a great location for everything we wanted to do in southern Maine. The renovation is beautifully done, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are ‘farmhouse luxe’.One tiny thing, it was a little noisier than expected because it is on a busy road. But it didn’t prevent our having a great time!

60th Birthday Celebration

We are 3 friends that have known each other for most of our lives and decided to go away for our 60th birthday year! Portland didn't disappoint. This house was exactly what we needed after exploring the area all day. All the comforts of home. A quick drive to Portland and many other areas. Was nice to come back to a place where we could relax after a long day. Good communication and easy to get to. Would 10/10 stay here again.

The home and property were beautifully maintained and exceptionally clean. Thoughtful touches throughout include plenty of k-cups, super soft towels in the bathrooms, travel size shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, laundry detergent, and throw blankets in the living room. The only thing I would warn people about is the traffic noise. If that is something you’re sensitive to, bring ear plugs for sleeping. Otherwise, it’s perfect. Very comfortable furniture and the hosts obviously put a lot of thought into caring for the property and their guests.
