Enjoy the mountains like a local in this wonderful 4-bedroom pinewood cabin. Located only 30 minutes from Dodge Ridge, you can sleep in and still be on the hill to catch the first chairlift. With 3 queen beds, 1 full bed, and 2 bunk beds, there's plenty of space for everyone. Enjoy the cozy living room with a comfy sofa for extra guests. This fabulous property also features a large wood burning fireplace and 2 full bathrooms with updated showers and luxurious towels. Stay connected with WiFi and take advantage of the convenient amenities like a large deck with benches and a BBQ. This Nordic cabin also features a washer/dryer, a coffee bar, and a ring camera over each outer door for security. The kitchen has cooking equipment, stove, microwave, dishes, and a sturdy large wooden table with chairs, so everybody can have a meal together. It is near many restaurants, Sonora, shopping, and Pinecrest Lake. Upon request we can offer kayaks or ski / snowboarding rentals for a reduced fee. The newly built Chicken Ranch Casino is only 22 minutes down the road. We are happy to suggest local spots to check out.

We stayed here while attending women’s retreat at nearby Christian Berets Retreat Center. So we didn’t get to enjoy our cabin time fully. But it was well stocked and had comfortable beds. The view of the stars from the deck was spectacular!! I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great one night stay! Great communication. The house was perfect for us and way better than we expected. Cozy beds, great fireplace and living space to have a warm cozy night. Will be saving this house for a future snow trip.

4 bedroom 2 bathroom cabin in Mi Wuk. This is close to the Long Barn ice skating and not far from Dodge Ridge for ski or snowboard activities. We got snow overnight at the cabin which was magical for the kids. Nice half circle driveway to park in. Nice porch for kiddos to play in snow on site. Cabin is very cozy. 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on bottom floor. 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on 2nd floor. The cabin fit our large family perfectly. Kitchen is equipped with plenty of dishware for a family to use. There are 8 seats at the dining table. The TV has streaming apps available. The wood burning fireplace works well. The living room area has a full size sofa, 2 recliner chairs as well as a large lounge chair with ottoman. The cabin came with clean linens, shampoo, conditioner,body wash, plenty of clean towels, full kitchenware, toaster, microwave, fridge, stove, coffeemaker. There was Peet's coffee, hot coco and chocolate available as well. Neighbors were quiet. Overall we are very happy we chose to stay here and plan to come again.

The Skandia Ski Cabin has been in my family for over 60 years. We have recently updated it and I want to share this peaceful, special place with others. I have so many fond memories of growing up here and spending time with my family skiing, swimming at the lake, or just building snowmen in the driveway. I wanted others to have this opportunity as well.

Why they chose this property

The deck of the Skandia Ski Cabin looks out into a canopy of trees. The air is fresh and smells like the pine trees. There are neighbors but the sight you see through the big picture window in the family room are the trees. It is a peaceful place ready to help families share some happy memories.

What makes this property unique

The property is big enough to have the whole family, but still charming and quaint, with recent upgrades to to the bathrooms and kitchen. Plus it is very close to all the major venues like Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, Chicken Range Casino, Pine Crest Lake, Sonora, Jamestown and more.
