This charming and spacious studio offers your own quiet slice of paradise. Please note that this is a studio and not a one bedroom unit. Take a relaxing stroll across the street to watch the sunset at Kamaole Beach Park II, then return to unwind on your beautifully landscaped, private ground-floor lanai as Hawaiian doves greet the morning. Grill your dinner at the community barbecues, cool off in one of the two pools, or enjoy a match on the on-site tennis court. Wonderful restaurants and shops are all just a short walk away.

Kihei Akahi is a beautifully maintained condominium community, and our unit comfortably accommodates up to three guests. Decorated in a warm Hawaiian style, it brings the spirit of the islands indoors. Kihei is known for its ideal weather—gentle tropical breezes, occasional light showers, and the sweet aroma of blooming flowers. You’ll also enjoy a fantastic, newly updated kitchen.

Recently spent an excellent 4 weeks at this cozy unit in Kihei Akahi. The location is amazing with Kam 2 literally across the street and some food/shops walkable. With our rental car the rest of the island was in easy reach. The unit has beach chairs and body boards for use as well as at least one beach umbrella and a couple of coolers.The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that the unit is starting to show its age and we did run into a couple of issues. However, Janet (contact on the island) was extremely responsive and worked to address them promptly and definitely with the spirit of aloha! Would 100% stay again and recommend it for a couple to enjoy a relaxing stay in paradise. The sofa appears to convert to a comfortable bed but space may be a bit tight for more than two adults. All in all, excellent experience. Mahalo Leilani!

Such a cute little place we were able to walk down to the beach walk to some places to eat. It had towels and everything we needed for a fun beach day. The washer and dryer really helped us stay organized because we were able to clean stuff as we went. Perfect amount of space for two people highly recommend doing your breakfast on the cute little patio.

Awesome Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed for the beach which is within walking distance. We used the pool and then grilled (so clean) a few times. The location is great as you can walk to restaurants, shopping, etc. The property is really well maintained and everyone was helpful and available if we had any questions. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Great Location

Everything you could need & the best location!The only issue we had was night noise from the parking lot & path at the side of our ground level suite. People arriving & leaving at all hours of the night for flights. Garbage truck regularly comes in the middle of the night which is a bit startling.

Lovely property

My first time at this lovely studio condo and I will stay here again. The place has great appliances and is a perfect size for us. The property is beautiful and the pools had warm water. Also it is a great location!

Perfect setup for easy beach access

We had a lovely stay at Lani's - communication was clear and everything was as expected (I mistakenly thought it was a 1br and not a studio and had issues when first trying to submit payment but those are both issues with VRBO). The unit was clean, main bed comfortable, ac/ceiling fan good for cooling down the unit. The balcony was great for breakfast - you could smell the fragrant plumeria just sitting there. A couple run ins with a gecko and some bugs but that's to be expected in a tropical climate. Best to keep all food in the fridge! Well stocked with beach chairs/umbrellas/towels, but might be good to bring your own shampoo/conditioner if staying for an extended period. The beaches across the street were great -- very soft sand and seemed calmer in the mornings for snorkeling while we were there (with turtles!).

This property is right across from Kam 2 which is great for playing in the water and snorkeling at both ends. The property is well kept up and it is a pleasure to stay there. The small condo I rented was perfect for one or two people. I’ve rented the same condo 3 times and I love it. It isn’t fancy, but has everything you need!

Complessivamente soddisfatti

La casa è in ottima posizione poiché vicina sia al mare sia a ristoranti, bar e negozi che sono facilmente raggiungibili a piedi. L'appartamento è carino, ben arredato e con molte comodità tra cui lavatrice, asciugatrice, TV, tosta pane, fuochi per cucinare e frigorifero. La pulizia è un po' sommaria, ma ci sono i prodotti per pulire e la lavatrice per lavare lenzuola lenzuola e asciugamani che al nostro arrivo non erano proprio perfetti e profumati. Abbiamo avuto qualche difficoltà al check-in poiché non avevamo ricevuto il codice di ingresso, ma l'ufficio in loco ci ha assistiti e aiutati. Il primo giorno non funzionava la televisione, ma dal secondo si è messa a posto da sola (cosa importante per noi poiché viaggiamo con una bimba). Abbiamo apprezzato alcuni dettagli come gli assorbenti, la polvere per la lavatrice, il dopo sole, l'ombrellone, le sedie da mare.e i prodotti da bagno messi a disposizione, ma mancava il doccia schiuma e lo abbiamo dovuto comprare. Da migliorare l'assortimento pentole che sono tutte graffiate (colpa di ospiti non attenti) e le tende che non oscurano per cui alle 7 si è svegliati dalla luce inevitabilmente. Complessivamente siamo rimasti soddisfatti e lo consiglieremmo.

Home away from home

This studio has all the equipment you’ll need for your stay. The positives-close to kam 2, close to heated pool, close to amenities, ac nice and cool, and very affordable for the area. Slept well in the bed and has a full kitchen which is nice for a studio.

A great stay!

Aloha, Tom and I live in the Napa Valley, Calif. We go to our condo at least twice a year to relax and work on the fix it list. We love to wake to the tropical birds singing and feel the ocean breeze through the windows. We watch the sunset nightly from 'our' beach with a glass of wine. We watch for 'coconut dog' and his master who walk the beach nightly. RELAXING is what we do best there, and you will too-no more knots in your neck!
