Great place to stay

First time to Puerto Rico and this was a great place to stay. All contact with the host was responded to as quick as she could. Will stay here again when we come back!

Very nice

Wonderful stay. Great building with security and parking. Amazing views from the suite. Water pressure/temperature was not great but very minor. Wonderful and painless process to book, stay, and checkout. Will happily stay again.

Great Host...Great Location

Host responded to ALL inquiries in a timely and friendly manner...the place is EXACTLY as advertised so we love that. The BEST location for beach and pool laziness...and the strip with all the hotspot bars and restaurants is right there too.The only complaint is that the hot water would sort of come and go during a shower.

Enjoyable stay for our family of 4

We stayed here March 2024 for 5 nights. We rented a car and this was a great location (not far from airport, close to Old San Juan, 30 min to rain forest, walkable restaurants). The property owner was very responsive to our questions in a timely manner. The condo building is older and a bit run down, and there was construction that limited the outdoor space by the pool. BUT the pool was still accessible, as was beach access (although water/waves are rough in this area making it hard to swim). The space was enough for our family of four (two adults, 13 yo, 7 yo); it is all one room (no separate bedrooms) which worked out fine for us. We also took advantage of coin laundry in the building. Only a few minor critiques: could have been cleaner upon arrival; floors and bathroom were clean, but we ended up wiping down the inside of dresser drawers, inside of fridge, etc. there was only one set of bath towels and one set of beach towels (not a major issue but required some extra planning). Soap/shampoo was empty so we had to run out and grab some. Again, these were minor and overall our stay was very pleasant. We spent most of our time out and about exploring Puerto Rico, and not a lot of time at the condo - this property was perfect for that given its location.

Huge problems checking in. We arrived in a late plane and get to the apartment only to find that the key lockbox code the owner had given us, didn't work. She didn't answer any of our calls for help. We finally after an hour, getting help from the guard and EF husband, figured out the combination, which wasn't the one we'd been given. Then we get into the apartment only to find there were no sheets or cover for the futon. So, if you're wanting to actually use the futons make sure you tell her, or there will be no sheets to use. The location was ok, but the building and apartment are in need of some repairs ((paint peeling, mold, outdated, etc) This is also not the beach that you can swim in, fast drop-off and riptide. Better to go to the Isla Verde beach. It was also not very clean. The kitchen back splash on the stove and the fridge were very dirty. I will not be staying here again, especially since we almost had to rent a hotel room when we'd been given the wrong code and then the owner never responded to our many calls until the next day.

I am very sorry to read Lori’s review since it is almost the opposite to every other review from prior guests - same listing in both VRBO and Airbnb. Unfortunately, the new cleaning lady I had hired (when suddenly knew mine had passed a few nights before Lori’s check-in) inadvertently missed one of the code numbers for the lockbox. I am very thankful for the kindness and diligence of the building’s security guard that assisted Lori and solve the situation contacting the other property owner. Not an excuse, but she arrived after midnight on a Thursday in the middle of an intense work week, and although I had my phone in my hand, I had fell asleep and did not hear any calls/texts. I understand and apologize for Lori’s check-in experience that must have felt awful. However, she missed to mention I always responded timely and I did my best to accommodate her needs since the very morning of her arrival. Additionally, I did not know until now (that I read her review) that the property was not up to her expectations - similar to bringing the futon sheets/blanket she requested, I would have coordinated a complimentary cleaning. Finally, she never asked for recommendations regarding the beach or else… so maybe my property was not a good fit for Lori, or maybe her experience was affected by the check-in #fail. We will never know. ON A FINAL NOTE TO OUR FUTURE GUESTS: We assume the king bed will be used by 2 persons to sleep, and suitably it will be kindly and elegantly prepared for the best comfortable rest. If you are a party of 2 and you will not be sharing the king bed with your second guest, PLEASE NOTIFY at least a week before checking-in - no additional bed sheets / blankets are provided for the futons by default. Never had this situation before, but we appreciate Lori’s review since we have now the opportunity to address this matter for future guests.

Comfortable place to stay

Spacious place with nice although somewhat limited view of the ocean. Fully equipped kitchen and good air conditioning unit. Comfortable bed. Enjoyed opening windows and sleeping to the sound of the surf. Nice swimming pool. Parking lot and building both are secured by 24/7 security guards. An easy Uber ride to Old San Juan.

Wonderful stay!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this Condado apartment! Zulmarie was an excellent and responsive host, the apartment was as described in the pictures, and it was very clean. Please note that the pool was damaged in Hurricane Maria and is not currently functional, but that would be a nice feature once it is repaired. As others have said, the location is perfect. Within a short walk, there are many wonderful restaurants and bars with open air seating. From early morning coffee to late night latin jazz, you are covered. And Old San Juan is a 10 minute ride away. I would happily stay here again!

Great location!

The apartment was nice, a little dated but it had everything we needed! Everyone was so friendly & helpful. We ( our tech. abilities???) were not able to get the large tv to work for us, but the smaller one did so that was fine! Nice area, close to both buses, shopping, casinos, restaurants, safe!

Great!

I enjoyed my stay so so SO much! It was such a great and spacious studio, clean, air worked perfectly, bed was comfortable, easy access to the building for me and guests of mine, and a perfect location! The water temperature was a bit of a hassle but nothing drastic. I wish I could live there myself. 100% recommend! Owner is extremely nice and answers quickly to any questions :)

Absolutely fantastic!

Great location, pool and beach in your back yard, walking distance to great local restaurants. Short drive to Old San Juan. Check in was a breeze. Security in the condo was great, there was always someone at the main gate parking entry and at the condo building entry. The condo was very clean and with all the amenities you'd need, making it feel like home away from home. Zulmarie, the owner was very responsive from beginning to end. Would highly recommend when visiting Condado, stay here!

Perfect vacation

I loved staying at this property. Neat, very clean, very well maintained. Location was great, near to many restaurants main roads. I was able to do many things without leaving the building: beach, pool, tennis, gym, etc. the building is gated so I felt very safe at all times. The building staff was very friendly also, but very on top of their game too. Always asking for names, taking notes who would come in and out, communicating among each other through the radio, watching out for security in general. The owner is very friendly and accessible. I would highly recommend renting this property if you want to have a relaxing vacation. I would definitely rent it again!

This apartment is perfect! Location was amazing, it was very clean, safe, had a nice view of the beach, great big comfortable bed and most important Zulmarie answered any questions/concerns that I had within minutes. I would definetly stay here again!!!

everything was as advertised and promissed. ocean front w/ large pool. grocery store two blocks away. building had good vibe. everyone was friendly. all elevators up and running. always felt safe. car rental ( bella ) also two blocks away. rented for two of five days. rain forest ( el yunque ) and old san juan. would stay again !

Perfect for us!

First of all, dealing directly with an owner who responds diligently and fully to your questions, is a big positive start. I made sure the place fulfills our needs before making the decision to rent it because a family vacation with teenagers has to please everyone. The condo is enough spacious for the 4 of us. Clear, modern, light, nice views and generously stocked with bunch of towels (first time I saw that). The king bed made me want one:) Very confy, the boys find also their beds comfortables. I can't say enough good things about how well maintained this place is. I didn't know the condo was at the dead end of the corridor, nice plus for the quietness. It is centrally located, easy walk to the grocery, to the bus stop if you don't have a car, parking is included if you have one, laundry on main floor (note that you have to bring 5 or 10$ to insert in the machine to get coins, as 25¢ or 1$ are not accepted). The pool is large, the beach is beautiful, some rocks in the water but you can walk a little bit east to find a better spot. All these amenities made it a nice stay as everyone could find his own way to enjoy himself. We did body surf all together, playing with the waves, and I enjoyed my yoga practice every morning, but this time, I was the one really on the beach, it wasn't a t.v screen. Many thanks to Zulmarie who never missed an email or a txt from me. It was a real pleasure to share your place!
