MY GUEST HOUSE is a privately owned, gorgeous custom-built, cedar home in one of the sweetest small towns on the Oregon Coast. If you are looking for high quality in a two-bedroom home for a cozy retreat, look no further. This is truly a lovely cabin with many amenities....wood-burning stove, Wi-Fi, deck, barbecue, comfortable mattress, cedar 2003 construction with fully equipped kitchen. Plus views galore. (Please note that this location is in a lovely part of Neskowin, with full-time residents nearby. It is a quiet area and we ask our guests to be respectful of noise levels.)
2 bedroom (master with queen, plus office/bedroom with trundle.) Full modern kitchen, deck with barbeque, wood-burning stove, lovely views of the ocean from a high vantage point.
This private retreat awaits you - lots of windows looking over the coastline, a full modern kitchen, and vaulted ceilings. Queen-size comfy bed with views. This newer home is filled with custom-designed fine hardwood finishes and floors everywhere.

An ocean-view deck off the dining area features chairs and a barbeque. In the welcoming living room you will find a wood stove, free WiFi access, TV cable, and more spectacular views.
There is an extra $20 per person per night fee for more than two guests. Sorry, NO DOGS ALLOWED. NO EXCEPTIONS. (Other than officially documented service dogs.)
The cabin has everything you want for your personal getaway. The living area is one stair flight up, on the second floor of the building, and the space is all on the second floor (with no further steps.)
The Master Bedroom, with gorgeous ocean views, has an en-suite bath. The second bedroom/office has a good quality trundle bed that sleeps two comfortably. (FOUR PERSON MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY.) 25 year age limit.
This is a high quality, custom-built home, filled with hardwoods and fine carpentry. The landscaping is lovely, with natural plantings on the grounds. You are surrounded by peaceful beauty. Relax and enjoy. Four miles of beaches to walk, explore tidepools, and have an evening beach fire. Within a short drive you have access to incredible headland hikes, and gorgeous drives. Cascade Headland is approximately 5 miles to reach the forest paths, then out to the headland.
Pacific City, 10 beautiful miles to the north, offers a beach-front brew pub, a number of shops and several good restaurant choices. The headland, Cape Kiwanda, has a remarkable sandstone outcropping that is very unusual. it is a simple hike to the bowl where waves crash as they circle in.

Amazing views, excellent location for coastal adventures, comfortable beds and beautiful custom woodwork make this our preferred lodging above anywhere on the Oregon coast. Lovely View of the Ocean

While this is not a walk to the beach kinda place, it was lovely being up above it all in the trees with a fantastic view of the waves and water. Could still hear the surf and slept well - though it should be noted getting into such a tall bed was challenging. And it is a walk up to the main floor. Even so, comfy place that we would stay again. Great low key coastal location too, close to lots of great hiking and beaches.

Great location, not totally honest in ad.

The location was beautiful and had amazing views. The walk to the beach was a little long and up a large hill on the way back. They need to specify this. Also, the interaction with the owner was weird. He kind of sneaks up on you and let you know that he will be working out in the garage beneath your bedroom each night (7-8pm) and each morning (5-6am). Less than ideal for a private vacation and overpriced in my opinion to have to share the space.cot woke us up. Although he said we could tell him if he was loud, this felt like too much to ask for the price of the room. He also made an insensitive joke about hearing his moaning and groaning. It came off as a creepy old man joke. Then he joked about how the sounds would just be of him dying. This is insensitive due to the fact they he doesn’t know where everyone is coming from. I had just had a death of an elder in my family and didn’t find it funny. I suggest not letting him talk to the guests or workout in the garage. Also he gets his truck out of the garage early as well which is loud and disrupts the peace. Otherwise it’s a lovely space, clean and comfortable. I hope they take these notes to heart as honest and my opinion. Maybe you wouldn’t mind this at all. This is just me.

Lovely, quality cabin

Beautiful distant views and sounds of the ocean. Cabin is quality built and stocked with all necessities. Very comfortable furniture and beds, nice to have washer/dryer. Driveway a bit difficult to navigate, would be helpful if we could park on level area. Owner does use lower level daily, but not at all intrusive. We will return if in area again. Thanks!

Relaxing getaway

We enjoyed our 3-night stay in this cozy, quiet home with a fabulous ocean view. Well-appointed furnishings, quality linens, well-stocked furnishings. About a 15-minute walk to the beach. Highly recommend this property for a nice stay on the Oregon coast.

Amazing stay!

I can’t even begin how to describe how amazing this property is. Amazing view, walkable to an expansive beach, quiet, comfortable and the best stocked rental that we’ve ever stayed in. Location was close enough to Lincoln City for dining and grocery, but far enough away from the city for some privacy. Communication with the owner and property manager was great. The bed was so comfy with very nice bedding. I can’t think of anything that could make this rental better and we would 100% stay again.

Our family of three stayed at this lovely space and very much enjoyed the views, sounds of the ocean, and walks to the beach. The house is very clean and comfortable. We took drives to nearby towns but were happy to come back to quiet Neskowin in the evening.

Beautiful Views...about a 10 to 15 minute walk down hill to the beach. Upon entering, there is a long straight stairway to the main living area. But the view makes the stairs worth it! Expansive view of ocean for beautiful sunsets! Beautiful interior woodworking with Fir and Maple! Owners live down the road...and are very kind/helpful!

The tree house

Super cute with a stunning view!! Felt like you were staying in a tree house, only much more comfortable and with every day convenient. I'm a bed snob, and I have to say, that bed was almost as good as mine at home. You will not be disappointed at this property.

Why they chose this property

We chose to build this home in a tree-filled part of Neskowin at the top of the hill. The Guest House feels both private and expansive. The sunsets are just fantastic every evening, no matter what the weather is doing.

What makes this property unique

This house was built to be a home. We did not scrimp on any details, and it was built by the finest home builders on this part of the coast. It is filled with hardwoods, fine craftsmanship, and details that most vacation homes will not live up to!
