Location - Only 10 mins from downtown Palm Springs
Pool - clean and well maintained
Beds - super comfy
Neighbor- very quite
The communication was very smooth when I made the reservation with Rodney. I’d stay again in the future.
This property was perfect for my group size. It was clean and maintained well. The landscaping was immaculate. The kitchen was stocked more than sufficiently with pots/pans/dishware/utensils for my party if 5 for the long weekend, we made most of our meals at the property and enjoyed the pool and well furnished interior. The beds were comfortable and there were more than enough linens for everyone. The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet, conveniently located and populated with friendly neighbors.
Everyone in my group mentioned how perfect the house was and how easily it lent itself to the perfect Palm Springs weekend.
Very authentic Palm Springs classic. Very easy to work with management company for check in and during the stay. House accommodated five people very comfortably. Pool and yard were great. Kitchen was well equipped. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
Gorgeous home, wonderful attention to detail, convenient location and attention owner/property manager. We regularly visit the desert as a family and this was one of the most wonderful experiences we have had. Thank you!

Palm Springs plush
The house is impeccable. From the outdoor sleek modern landscaping with mid century historical plaque to the indoor upscale decor. tempur-pedic mattresses in each bedroom. An abundance of thick plush towels including Trina Turk beach towels. All these things plus so much more makes your stay luxurious. Rodney and his crew are very reachable and helpful for any questions in a moments notice. We had the best time and cannot wait to return!

Fun Mid Century with Great Views!
The was a great home and location in Palm Springs. Located about 5 minutes from downtown in a VERY quiet neighborhood. Close to grocery shopping. Kitchen was nicely equipped. Master bedroom was large, all beds were very comfortable. Beautifully landscaped yard and a nice (we opted for heated, which was great) size pool for everyone to enjoy at once. Beautiful view of the mountains, we enjoyed watching them glow at sunrise and watched the sunset over them. This is the type of place you want in Palm Springs. Owner and management company were prompt and easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to friends and family.

Great stay in Palm Springs
Great Mid-Century house with most things needed for a wonderful stay.
Unfortunately the telephone was out of action (who wants to make calls on holidays anyway). Also the television would not pick up cable or free to air stations (we decided this was good, as they would all be on about the elections anyway). Would we stay there again?... without a single doubt.

Terrific spot!!
We love the Twin Palms neighborhood and have stayed at two other houses just down the street. Rodney's home was fantastic! The decor was charming and the fixtures and finishes were all high quality. And all the beds were Tempurpedic (oh la la!)! One thing to note, our last trip to Palm Springs was about 5 years and it seems like the city has gotten more strict with their rental rules with quiet time from 10pm to 10am. It seemed a little aggressive that we couldn't go outside and enjoy the pool until 10am (just an FYI).
Rodney was great and super responsive and our onsite concierge David was friendly and a great local resource.
A terrific spot in a historic neighborhood! Thank you!

A wonderful place
We stayed there during the Modernism week and we were just in! The place is stylish and very well equipped (loved the tempurpedic beds so confortable) . We enjoyed the heated pool with the view on the mountains and the very nice neighbourhood. The concierge was super nice. We recommend 100% and keep the address for a future stay.

Best place to stay in Palm Springs!!
We really enjoyed the stay at this property. Its 100% as described plus much more! (They even provide Tylenol, first aid kit, batteries and flashlights in case you need). Its very clean, the linen and towels have a fresh detergent scent. The view of the mountains is breathtaking. The pool was super delicious. The Property manager is great, very helpful and willing to please. I will definitely return and I recommend this property 100%.

Relaxing vacation and great place to stay
We were looking for the authentic Palm Springs experience and found it here. The home was immaculate with furniture that really suited the style of house and the beds were so comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and we even did a full Thanksgiving Dinner. The washer/dryer was a bonus and was located in such a way as to not heat up the house.
The backyard and pool were well laid out with a beautiful view and we also had a great time relaxing around the fire pit with friends and family in the evening.
Even though we were fortunate to have record breaking temps the week we were there, we never had to use the AC as the nights cooled off nicely.
We were even able to enjoy the ambience of the indoor fireplace once or twice.
Rodney was a pleasure to work with and even after we changed our minds about heating the pool, he responded within minutes and set the pool heat remotely. Nice feature!!
Thank you for the care and detail of this home. Would love to return in the future.

Lovely Mother/Daughter weekend get-away
Two mothers, two daughters, two days of relaxing around the pool and enjoying time together. The house is immaculate and the care with which guests are treated is fantastic. You are greeted and checked-in by David, a concierge manager, who feels like your new best friend you can ask anything of .... the beds are first rate, the kitchen is fully stocked, there are plenty of pool towels, chairs, tables, floaties and even the soap in the shower is thoughtfully wrapped and lovely. Rodney has made his home the place you want to return to because at the end of a long day of travel, you open the door and you know it was worth the trip. Everything is what you hoped for and every detail in this beautiful mid-century modern house has been carefully planned.

Fantastic and historic Palm Sprinngs Location
The house and property are perfectly located in Palm Springs. There's access to nearby bars, restaurants, and the surrounding mid-century modern homes are stunning. The home itself is historic and a classic example of the original architecture that makes the city so special. A wonderful place to stay for the real Palm Springs experience.

We were a party of four, and had a great time at Rodney's vacation rental. The house was clean, well stocked and the pool was amazing (there were pool floaties!). Very smooth check in and check out process. Rodney was extremely available and would get back to us when we had any questions almost immediately. Thanks Rodney for having us!

A Beautiful Escape
As an interior designer, I booked this home based on the gorgeous mid-century architecture and decor. It was perfect for our needs, comfortable, bright and beautiful. Our grown children were available to join us, which was a rare treat. We relaxed by the pool, grilled a few dinners and loved the peace and quiet of the neighborhood, which was filled with beautiful homes. The location was close to the town of Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage, so we had a myriad of choices for dinners out. The house was spotless when we arrived and there was plenty of room for the four of us. It turned out to be a special time spent with family in the comfort of a lovely home. We will absolutely be back for another visit, possibly for a month! We loved Palm Springs and this home helped to create a perfect week!

Attention to details
We were there for a week ending with the start of Modernism Week in Palm Springs that highlights fabulous mid-century homes such as this one. It was so much fun to be living the dream. Rodney has thought of every detail in his incredible restoration of a home built approximately 60 years ago. It makes you feel as though you are the first occupants of the original home with all of the modern conveniences of today. Be sure to find and read the books that describe the original home and the development of the neighborhood in the late 50's and early 60's. It will make you appreciate the architecture of the home even more such as the upper windows that make the home feel so open and light while allowing you to take in the beautiful surroundings and views of the mountains. The attention to detail extends to all the items provided in the home to ensure your stay is enjoyable and comfortable. Sadly, the home is organized better than our own. It was hard to leave!

Your Own Personal Resort
We were already planning a trip to Palm Springs and decided, months ago, to spend it in a private home versus the hotel or guest house route, like we typically do. It was such a great decision. This property was clean, modern and fully equipped. We didn't need the extra bedrooms, as there was just the two of us, but the spacious kitchen/living room area and the large and private pool area were perfect for a week of total relaxation. And a great neighborhood for morning walks to see dozens of other mid-century gems! We would gladly recommend this place and look forward to staying there again (frankly, we really didn't want to give the keys back).

Why they chose this property
Suddenly, it's 1957!
This Twin Palms home was carefully renovated to the look and feel of its original William Krisel design. Originally completed in 1957 by the Alexander Construction Company, this home is known as the "Gable."
Twin Palms is the first mid-century modern neighborhood built by George Alexander's company. Alexander and Architects Dan Palmer and William Krisel are credited with redefining the architectural landscape of Palm Springs residential real estate. Their success initiated the City's first major housing boom in the 50's and forever changed its architectural landscape.
The home renovation team worked closely with Mr. Krisel during the remodel and restoration of this exciting mid century modern home. The team consulted his archives, now at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles, attempting to return the home to the look and feel that it had when first completed. The floor plan, a masterpiece of space planning, continues to work beautifully for today's lifestyle.
Enjoy~
What makes this property unique
This home received its historic designation in January, 2013 (HSPB 85).
We are proud preservationist. We are honored to serve as stewards to one of the many "starchitects" found in the Twin Palms neighborhood - and happy to open the home for others to enjoy.
A virtual toast - to partnerships in preservation! Cheers!
