The Owls Nest es nuestra casa de vacaciones en la hermosa Black Hills de Dakota del Sur. Nuestra familia usa el Owls Nest varias veces al año. Lo alquilamos algunas veces al año. Nuestra casa está ubicada a una milla de altura y tiene espectaculares vistas de 30 millas desde la cubierta muy grande

The property was perfect for us! We didn’t get to use the beautiful deck much because Mother Nature didn’t cooperate The house has a bathroom on each floor which is perfect for three couples. The bonus room is awesome for playing cards/games. The house was very clean and well equipped. The drive up to the property is interesting, very secluded. We would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin in the Black Hills! The location was beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for our family vacation. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. We loved being surrounded by the beautiful scenery while still being close to all the attractions the Black Hills have to offer.It was a great place to come back to and relax after a full day of exploring. The cabin was exactly what we were hoping for, and we would definitely stay here again. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable place to stay in the Black Hills!

This was a great place for our family of 8 to stay while in The Hills. It is very secluded and private, which was so peaceful. The downside was that we had to drive a minimum of a half hour for everything we wanted to do. Not a huge deal though. Would recommend for families!

Beautiful views of the Black Hills. The house worked out well for our family with small children. One thing that was inconvenient was having to have all the towels washed, dried and folded before we left.

Dan, the owner, is great. Quick response to questions, and very helpful and accommodating. The Owl's Nest is wonderful. Fully stocked kitchen, multiple levels with full bathrooms on each level. A huge deck overlooking the side of a large ridge. Mountains view. Family-friendly. Our family of seven, ages 11 through 77, loved our time at the house. And will you.

My family and I had a great stay at the Owl's Nest. It has plenty of extra room. It was very clean and well equipped for our stay. We enjoyed the great views every day from the deck. We loved our stay at the Owl's Nest! It was peaceful, quiet, clean, and comfortable. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. We enjoyed mornings having coffee out on the deck, enjoying the view of the mountain. It is a hop, skip, and a jump to Lake Pactola, such a fun place to soak up some sun on the water! We were here on some of the hottest days of the summer and the cabin was still comfortable for us! A lovely home away from home!

Outstanding choice for Black Hills visit

The Owl's Nest is an ideal location for any visit to the Black Hills! The home is beautiful and spacious and offers seclusion, tremendous views from a wrap-around deck, and an ideal location in the central Black Hills region. It is close to Mt. Rushmore and Custer State Park and not far from other destinations. Great for families. We will be returning!

Great Time

The owls nest was exactly as described. Plenty of room for every one to have their space. It was located in the middle of everything the black hills offer. Favorite part was the deck with grill. We would stay their again and definitely recommend.

Great Family Vacation Spot

We had two families that needed a place to stay that was central to the touring locations. This house was a little remote, but perfect for our home base. Kids had plenty of space to spread out on the lower level, and the main floor was set up perfect for the adults to play cards and not disturb the kids. The view from the deck was incredible - perfect with a cup of coffee in the morning. Thank you!!

Very good fishing in several local lakes, streams
The large deck with grill and 4 tables, chairs and umbrella's are a focal point and most meals are eaten on the deck.
Owls Nest has a new great room above the garage, which is a fantastic game room, with futon for extra sleeping.
