Wonderful vacation!

We had a wonderful time during our first visit to Bethany! The place was beautiful and was fully stocked with kitchen supplies, BBQ utensils, beach chairs/umbrella, etc. The kids loved watching the golfers go by. We were a few blocks from the one pool and gym and a short drive (can walk but not ideal with younger kids) to the second pool. We took the shuttle to the beach and downtown area which was great. We would definitely recommend staying here and would consider coming back to the same place if we visit Bethany in the future!

Relaxing Vacation!

We had a great time staying at this rental and didn't have any complaints about the property. We had a enough room for 6 adults and 2 children without feeling cramped. The property manager has had open communication since day one of booking and well beyond our stay at Bear Trap. We had forgotten a drawer full of clothes and they are going above and beyond to ensure we get our belongings back. We cannot thank them enough for that! If you are looking for a quiet retreat with close beach access that is away from all the hustle and bustle of the shoreline then this is the place for you! Thanks again for letting us stay at your place!

Feels like home!

If you're looking for a beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable place to stay near Bethany Beach, this is it! Fully equipped with everything you will need and more. The screened-in porch is a wonderful place to start or end your day and is furnished with a comfortable sofa and chairs. We cooked out on the grill and set up the extra table and chairs on the open patio - wonderful place to enjoy dinner. The owners are very easy to reach and responded very quickly to the minor issues we had during our stay. Everybody we met in Bear Trap was friendly and we enjoyed all the amenities, especially the pool and the shuttle to the beach. So nice to not worry about parking at the Boardwalk! We found many good restaurants, a wonderful little used book store, and even a local theater with nightly magic shows, all within 10 minutes of the house. Our grown children came to visit, as well as our 7 year old grandson, and they all loved it! We totally enjoyed our vacation in Ocean View and we'll definitely be back!

Beautiful home and great owners

My family stayed at this beautiful condo for a week in July 2017. We were so pleased with our choice from the minute we walked in the door. The condo was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the essentials and more. The game and DVD selection was a nice bonus, as well as the flat screen TV's in every bedroom. The screened in porch was great for drinking our morning coffee on the cozy furniture and watching the golfers. There are 2 grocery stores within 2 miles from the condo, and it was easy to get to the beach, the boardwalk, and all of the surrounding towns. We went to the pool almost every day, which was so nice to have that option especially with little ones. We felt so relaxed and at home in the condo that it was difficult to leave! The owners were fantastic to work with and were very responsive. We highly recommend this place and we will definitely be coming back. There is no reason to look at anything else because this place has it all!

WE LOVED OUR STAY!!!!

This was our first time to Bethany, normally we go to Ocean City, but with two little ones, we were looking for more family atmosphere and a place to stay that had many amenities. This place is really great, the owners are easy to work with, very responsive and the place was clean, updated and decorated beautifully. It was comfortable and spacious. We had 5 adults and 4 children there- the front bedroom is a little small and it would be nice to have a half bath somewhere but it was also fine without. The owners had all we needed and it was super helpful that they provided extra cots, toddler/baby essentials such as toddler bed rails, pack n play, high chair, outdoor children seats and games. It's a great open concept and we were in love with the screened in porch and the view of the golf course, very serene. It was within walking distance to the pool/clubhouse which was great. The amenities are really nice, our family used the gym quite a bit, the pool of course, basketball and playground. Indoor pool nice for if it rains and there are saunas, which we never got to but would have loved to. Beds were comfy and we slept great, pillows were soft and clean up when checking out was easy and as expected. As a landlord myself, I would give this an A+ and we have high standards. Thank you!

Bethany Beach Vacation

We had a great stay. The property was clean and as shown in the pictures. We especially enjoyed the screened porch which faced the golf course. It was a great place for morning coffee. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes ect. A Keurig coffee maker as well as a regular coffee maker kept everyone happy. Jayne and Elizabeth were quick to respond to all messages we sent them when making our reservation.

Amazing Rental!

Close to everything, but quiet enough to just relax!! Well stocked and incredibly comfortable, owners were great to work with and very accommodating and gracious, even when we somehow managed to set their alarm off! A definite must stay for golfers! And a great deck to enjoy even if you're not a golf fan. The only drawback was paying for pool passes, if you're only going to use it sporadically like we did..I would Definitely stay again!

Excellent! Perfect place for our family

This has been our favorite place to stay so far. The place is clean, the decor is perfect, and plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 kids! The screened in porch and deck were so relaxing and the neighborhood was so nice and peaceful for morning walks. I have already recommended it to friends as a great family friendly place near the beach! Elizabeth and Jayne were helpful and friendly and can’t say enough great things about their place! Highly recommend!

Wonderful place and location!

We were two families, three kids ages from 4-8 years old. We were impressed by the nice decoration of the house, the finishings, and the great maintenance it has. Honestly, it is the first time I stay in a rented house and was a bit hesitant about what we would find. However, it was very clean and had everything you needed. Of course, you have to bring your own sheets, towels, and some basics like paper towel for the kitchen, among others. Like in any other rental. The location is great, not far from the beach. A plus is that the shuttle bus from the community stops accross the street from the house. So NO hassle finding parking at the beach and NO hassle with sand in your own car! To have access to the shuttle and the pool, as well as the gym, you need to purchase a weekly pass from the community (at the Pavillion), which costs $40 per person. It is totally worth it. Elizabeth and Jayne were wonderful, very communicative, would response your questions very quick. This house is a keeper and I am looking forward to coming back again soon!

We have been vacationing in the area for over 30 years. This was our first experience with VRBO and the Bear Trap Community. From the very beginning, my interaction with Elizabeth was professional and responsive, upon arrival, interaction with Jayne, was delightful, responsive and professional. I've never met these two co-owners, but truly feel they are the best of the best of rental owners. From our perspective, the condo, owners, Bear Trap community and beach area are awesome!

I would highly recommend this place to any of my friends and family - 5 stars all around!

If you are looking for a comfortable and most relaxing getaway, stay here. This tastefully furnished condo has 3 bedrooms which was perfect for our two families. Once you step foot into this condo, you will instantly be in vacation mode with its coastal blues and green color palette. The owners Elizabeth and Jayne were such a joy to work with from the beginning of my inquiries, to our final booking and during our stay. This place would be perfect for a girls trip or a family getaway: 5 minute ride to Bethany beach and some very nice local restaurants nearby. We really lucked out with our October weather and enjoyed watching the golfers from the covered and screened in deck (another great family space with outdoor sofas) and even got to go to the beach every day to get some vitamin sun. The boys got much use from the indoor pool and gym, worth the extra cost for our two jocks. And it's not often that I say this for vacation rentals - all of their beds were wonderful to sleep in! This condo offers peace and tranquility with all of the comforts of your own home. We didn't cook during our stay, but if you wanted to this kitchen is fully set up. I would recommend this place to any of my friends and family and hope that I find another long weekend to enjoy again ourselves. 5 stars!!!!!

Beautiful Scenery

This place was amazing!! I cannot stress enough how homey it felt from the minute I walked in the door. I felt instantly relaxed. The place is gorgeous. The screened porch was the most amazing feature. Spent every morning & night out there. It was perfect. We enjoyed watching all the golfers as well, they were all so friendly. The owners we so accommodating for check in and check out time. So relaxed and it was so appreciated. Definitely recommend staying here!!!

Perfect......My new happy place! ❤️❤️❤️

We loved this place! It looks like a house off of HGTV. You won't want to leave and that's ok because it has everything you need. Loved sitting in the screened in porch. Hop skip and a jump to OCMD or Rehoboth for shopping. But the best thing was working with Elizabeth and Jayme. They go above and beyond. My new favorite place. ❤️

Beautiful, cozy home

We stayed in this condo for 3 days/nights.. My family has been renting condos in Bear Trap Dunes (3-4 times a year) for about 6 years now and this is by far the nicest one we've stayed in. We have an 18 month old, and the condo furniture and decor was very kid-friendly; there was no need to baby-proof when we arrived. The condo also has kitchen plates and bowls for kids, a large bin of barbies and other toys, bed rails, and a high chair, so we didn't have to back as much for my daughter as we usually do. The back of the condo has a beautiful screened-in porch and also a small outdoor deck, and it faces 2 holes on the golf course, and we really enjoyed sitting outside watching the golfers and enjoying the fresh air. I will definitely request to stay in this condo for future trips, and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a beautiful and comfortable place to stay in Ocean View.

Wonderful vacation property!

Bright, spacious, beachy-themed home

We stayed here with our extended family of 8 for a week in August. We have nothing but good things to say about the house. -Well-appointed: every kitchen utensil provided, comfy beds, new washer/dryer, relaxing sun porch. -Convenience/Location: short drive or shuttle to Bethany Beach. Many State Park beaches are within a 30 minute drive. Grocery 5 minutes away. Would stay again or recommend to friends.

Great Beach Condo!

I spent a week there with my mom & stepdad, my husband, and 2 kids. We travel to area beaches nearly every year and this was one of the best in terms of accommodations. I LOVED the condo! It is thoughtfully decorated and well-equipped. I have been to many other houses and condos that lack basic kitchen gear, for example, but this condo had a great kitchen, excellent beds, extra blankets... I loved the screened in porch and the accessibility to the amenities offered by the community. It was just a short (10 minute) drive to the beach in downtown Bethany plus they offered a very convenient shuttle. The owners were excellent hosts, accommodating and anticipating our every need! My only negative comment is that the pool passes were pretty pricey at $40 per person during peak season. We bit the bullet but I regretted doing so as we used the pool only once and never used the shuttle (included with the passes). I looked at the Bear Trap Dunes events schedule and believed that they had live music and happy hour to make for a festive pool environment, but that was not that case which contributed to our decision to spend less time at the pool. So, I loved the condo but am not sure I would stay in Bear Trap Dunes again due to the price of the pool passes and the misleading information on their website. I wish this exact condo was in a different beach community, OR that the community pool at Bear Trap Dunes had more of a vacation and fun like atmosphere at reasonable rates.

If you are even considering staying at this condo, stop thinking, and just book it! It is perfect! We arrived on a Saturday and everything was clean and ready to go for us. Owner sent lease and, once signed, sent code to door for entry. SO EASY! Immediately upon walking in, you see that the owner has thought of everything. Certain little touches so that you don't have to run to the store immediately. The room with the twins was perfect for my children. There was even a container of toys in the closet which they found almost immediately and began to play while I unpacked. The closet in that room also has bedrails you can put on the bed if you are affraid little ones might fall out, and a highchair! The living room is plenty large with comfy seating, nice television and great movie selection in case you find yourself stuck indoors. Kitchen was large enough for three adults to be cooking without stepping on toes, and kitchen table provided ample space. There is even an additional table/chairs you can set up if you have a larger group. Down the hall are the additional bedrooms. The queen bedroom and hall bath are lovely. The master bedroom and bathroom are absolutely huge! This is not your typical rental unit. No cheap furniture or horrible linens. Everything is of nice quality. Not to mention LOVELY decor. You sincerely feel like you are relaxing at a spa with all of the beautiful beach tones. The community is great as well if you choose to purchase the passes, which I recommend. Two nice pools, baby pool, fitness room, etc. There were nice people to talk to, and everything was very clean. Bear Trap Dunes is a very easy drive to Bethany or Rehoboth. The shuttle to Bethany was very easy to manage...even with two kids and beach gear! The back of the shuttle opens up for you to put all of your chairs, bags, etc. so that you don't have to hold it with you while you ride the bus. The shuttle stops right at the front of the cu-lde-sac, so close to the condo! There is nothing at all bad to say about this condo. Your only regret will be not having booked more time to stay.

Beautiful home, quiet community!!

The home had everything we needed and was convenient to everything! Very comfortable, very quiet community- perfect for a family vacation. We loved sitting on the deck on the comfy chairs and watching the golfers! We'll definitely be back!!

A beautiful home and a great location for area attractions and activities.

We had a wonderful weekend at this property. The home is beautiful and equipped with everything we needed. There was plenty of room for 6 of us and the screened in porch provided a great place to relax while watching some golfers or enjoying the view. There are many ammenities available in the community for a modest additional fee which provide activities for everyone. The property's location is convenient to many area attractions. The owners were very easy to work with and provided quick responses to questions. We plan on returning to the area and would definitely look to stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Our family has owned our condo since November, 2016. We converted it to a year round rental during covid and decided to convert it back to a seasonal rental for the summer of 2025. Since September, 2022, my husband and I moved to nearby Sycamore Chase. So we are very local (within 2 miles) if anything is needed!

Why they chose this property

We chose Bear Trap because of the quaint neighborhood, proximity to Bethany Beach and the overall feel of the community. Lots of nice amenities and easy to visit everything lower Delmarva has to offer!

What makes this property unique

We are one of the very few rentals to be managed by the owner. We personally book the property, we hire our own cleaners, and we visit the condo every Saturday inbetween rentals. We do our best to meet or exceed expectations!
