About this property

Idyllic 3-Bedroom Lake Front Cottage on Ford Lake

This cottage is perfect for a weekend away or a relaxing week long vacation.
Three cozy bedrooms, plus a pull out couch, it easily sleeps 8 people.

There are two full bathrooms along with a full kitchen, tv and wifi.

The outdoor space has a patio, grill, picnic table, and a bonfire pit.

A small row boat and kayaks are available upon request.
Life jackets are required while using the boats.
We recommend bringing your own but there are some that will be provided in the back room.
We also recommend any children under 12 wear life jackets while in the water or on the dock.

Ford Lake also has a public boat launch.
(Please abide by all MI water safety laws including licensing and boaters' safety)

Downtown Fountain is about 10 minutes drive with a gas station and small market.

Ford Lake is about 30 minutes from Ludington which has plenty of local shops, restaurants, Lake Michigan beaches and a cute downtown. The cottage is also about two hours from Traverse City or Grand Rapids depending on which direction you're headed.

FYI, the neighboring house has a Ring doorbell that faces the entrance of the cottage.

We're a new rental, hence the lack of reviews, but please do reach out if you have any questions.

The cabin is small, but served our need. Very well furnished and decorated exquisitely. Outside space is wonderful, excellent swimming for kids, large front yard leading to the lake and plenty of parking. We loved our stay!

They loved the up north look and feel, close enough to town but also remote enough to have peace and quiet and enjoy the stars! The lake is a nice and clean, spring fed lake.
