Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths (Sleeps 4-6)
Why Jacqueline Litwiniec chose Gulf Shores
We've been vacationing at Gulf Shore Plantation for at least a decade before the opportunity to buy our condo occurred. We will continue to vacation at the plantation for its privacy and seclusion. The miles of gorgeous beaches and the clear water are also a plus. The tennis courts are something we also frequently take advantage of.
What makes this Condo unique
This property has plenty of beach. So, even in the the middle of the summer you don't feel overcrowded. There is also a family friendly atmosphere that is associated with Gulf Shore's Plantations. And as previously mentioned our condo association provides you with exclusive access to the indoor pool and tennis courts.

Fort Morgan Beach Condo
This was a great location for my family with only a short walk across the parking lot and down the boardwalk to get to the beach. The condo was older but well-kept and I felt that it was priced right. The condo was equipped with everything we needed for bbqing and eating in. My only complaint would be that I felt the dishes needed to be washed before using them and there was not enough dishwashing soap for our family of 4 to last 4 days. One other suggestion would be to provide some folding chairs for hauling down to the beach but I realize that is an extra request, and not a necessity. The beach is beautiful and we spent 3 of our 4 days happily relaxing and playing in the waves.
A little disappointed
The pictures are amazing, so when we arrived at the condo, we were a little disappointed. The balcony faces the parking lot and the beach view is limited. The condo was dirty and needs to be updated.
Room was very nice. Wish it would have had king beds.
Great place to stay, only problem with the trip was rain and jellyfish.
July 4th week
We really had a wonderful time in the condo and can't wait to book it again thanks
Wish we were still there...
Our family of 4 had a wonderful time at this condo. The condo is exactly as depicted in the pictures with the exception that there is a new couch.
The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed and all appliances worked well. There is plenty of storage space in the closet in the kitchen to store misc. items that you need to get out of the walkway until you need them (cooler, extra case of water, etc).
The beds were extremely comfortable which is something I was concerned about. Bedding was left for the fold-out couch bed along with extra blankets and pillows.
The view is great and there is only one condo between this one and the laundry room and stairs. The elevator is just down the walkway in the other direction. We didn't have any issues getting a luggage cart or grocery cart when we needed them.
We spent so much time on the beach that we didn't visit any of the pools that are available, but there are 2 pools next to this building and also have access to one of the indoor pools at this complex.
We visited the Sassy Bass Island Grill located in the Dunes building of the complex for breakfast on a couple of mornings and it was very good as well as the service. Highly recommend it.
The only issue we had during our visit was the air conditioning went out during on our second day there and we didn't know it until late in the evening. We tried a few things on our own to make sure that it really wasn't working before contacting the owner which made it even later (11:30pm). My husband called and left a message. We received a VRBO message back from the owner at 2:00am saying the would have someone out early that morning to check on it, which they did and got it fixed quickly.
During the AC outage our kids had to sleep on the fold-out bed in the couch area which was fine for our younger son, but our older son was uncomfortable on the fold out bed. The condo does have a box fan in the master bedroom closet which we used in front of the open balcony door to pull in cool air. It kept the living room much cooler than the master bedroom was with only the window open and no air circulation. It would have been nice to have had a second fan to use in this situation.
I am rating this 5 stars because everything was as advertised and the owners response to the AC outage was well above what we expected since it was the middle of the night.
Thank you for the use of your condo.
Great family vacation
The pictures and description matched the real unit. We really loved how close it was to the pools, boardwalk and beach. Kitchen was well stocked. This was our first time in a condo, so we were unprepared with trash bags, laundry soap, etc., but a run to Dollar General fixed that. Wish there were more board games, to occupy rainy days. Big storm rolled through and wiped out WiFi for a while. It also took out the TVs . Plug in bathroom quit working and resetting the breaker didn't help. All of that wasn't really bothersome. The pull out sofa was not suitable for adult sleeping everyday, although I had to sleep on it daily. Very uncomfortable, dirty-full of crumbs, and no bedding. That was my own only big complaint. We loved the keyless lock and hooks by the door. Overall, I would go there again, but only if there was a new sofa sleeper.
