Escape the crowds and enjoy sunny skies, sugar-white sand beaches and security at the Gulf Shores Plantation Resort, a beautifully landscaped family destination directly on the Gulf of Mexico in the middle of a 21-mile peninsula.

Relax in our comfortable Non-Smoking 2 bedroom/2 bath condo that sleeps 6 with King bed in the master bedroom and twins in the second bedroom, plus a Queen Sleeper sofa in the living area. The large balcony has a spectacular view overlooking the beach, pools, hot tub, tennis courts, putting green, boardwalk and other resort amenities. Our fourth-floor condo has 43”, 32" and 26" flat screen HDTVs/DVDs in the living room and bedrooms.

Gulf Shores Plantation Resort has 24-hour security and unlimited free wireless Internet access. Our condo amenities include one new heated, salt water indoor pool and six outdoor pools with indoor and outdoor hot tubs, saunas, lighted tennis courts, basketball, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, exercise room, and a putting green with sports equipment available at the security gate. Have a BBQ with the family at the outdoor charcoal grills. Read a book from the honor library or use the coin operated laundry facility, both located on the ground floor of your building.

Kiva Dunes golf course, the number one rated course In Alabama, is adjacent to the resort and there are ten other nearby golf courses.

Gulf Shores was named one of USA Today's “Five Hidden, Affordable Beach Destinations”.
Gulf Shores Plantation Resort was listed as “Where to Stay” with an abundance of local recreational amenities including Alabama's historic Fort Morgan, Tanger Outlet Center, water park, zoo, miniature golf, go-carts, and the Dauphin Island ferry. HGTV's Battle On The Bleach 2021 series was filmed just a couple of miles east of our location.

The Royal Gulf Beach & Racquet Club Resort (Plantation Dunes building) requires the purchase of a $40 registration certificate prior to arrival for each vehicle parked overnight during your stay. This certificate is good for your entire stay. Details on how to purchase a certificate will be provided.

Very comfortable, with calming colors and beachy art throughout. Comfortable chairs on balcony with beautiful beach views. Well equipped kitchen, too. We would definitely stay here again! Our hosts responded to questions quickly and gave us information about beach chair rentals

The condo was very clean, but very small for our family of 5. One of the elevators was broke the entire week we were there (there was only 2). It was very remote compared to all of our other family vacations at the beach. To eat out, it was a 40-minute drive and then a restaurant wait. There is a sandwich shop and pizza place on property, and both were closed the entire week as well. The restaurant on the bottom floor was extremely expensive and the food was disgusting, the stemmed shrimp so was tough, like it was days old. We will never stay again.

We were so very happy with our stay at Plantation Dunes. It was clean, comfortable, and met all of our needs as a family of 6. The resort itself was very safe and well taken care of. We really enjoyed our beautiful view. My youngest attempted to sleep on the balcony. He was so happy! I would recommend this place to anyone. It is off the beaten trail so there’s a little drive to the action but well worth the sense of security and comfort. Thank you for everything! A

the host was wonderful. The condo was clean and in good condition with everything there we needed as far as cooking, etc. The view was great. The men's sauna was out of order, which was disappointing, but otherwise the building was in good shape.

Our friend group of moms enjoyed a great long weekend away from responsibilities of everyday life. The kitchen, while small, was well equipped & beds were comfy. We had a great time with beautiful views.
