Overview

About the property

Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)

Welcome to Paradise. Nestled near the end of the peninsula, this is the ideal location for beach goers and lovers of the water alike. Located directly on the bay with beach access just across the street. This complex offers a break from the norm and is reminiscent of what Gulf Shores 'Was' before the development boom. The people are friendly and the crowds are not as large in this low density complex.

Built in 2006, this newly remodeled 2 BR unit has all you would expect and more. 9' Ceilings, Granite Countertops, Stainless Appliances, 18' tile floors and views through the swaying palms that will take your breath away. It has one of the most private balconies in the complex with direct views of the bay and not another building. From your balcony you can watch the boats come in to unload their 'catch of the day' or possibly see a dolphin or two as they explore the Navy Cove Harbor.

It was beautiful and relaxing

  • 5 of 5

This property is located on the bay with a view of the gulf from the front balcony. It is a beautiful spot. Although it was a bit cool for a couple days we enjoyed the view of the bay from our balcony while we ate lunch and loved waking to the view from the large windows in the master. We were looking for a relaxing few days away from everyday and that's exactly what we got! Everything we needed to get started was provided in the condo. Fort Morgan is exactly what we were looking for. We spent time at the fort, walked the trails, relaxed at the beach, watched the sun set from Tacky Jacks and the sun rise from the beach. i would love to go back sometime. Thank you David for accommodating us so quickly (we booked as we were driving) and being helpful when we needed it.

Wonderful Gulf Shores location and condo

  • 4 of 5

We very much enjoyed our stay even though there was a tropical storm for a few days... The condo was well equipped, modern and very comfortable. For the few days of bad weather there was plenty of room in the condo for the kids to play games and watch movies. The views were lovely especially being able to see the bay on one side and the ocean on the other. Just beautiful! We really like the location being a little away from town. No traffic or hustle and bustle. We will definitely look to stay here on our next trip to Gulf Shores!!

"Best of both Worlds" is an understatement

  • 5 of 5

This place is a diamond in the rough. David was great and very responsive. My wife and I needed a relaxing get away from it all, and this was it and more. It is a very short walk to the beach, or just load up in the car and drive over. Their is parking at the beach access area. Beach not crowded at all. The sunset's from the beach on the Bay were phenomenal. You can walk right out your door and drop a line in the water and fish. We have always stayed on the beach, but this place has changed our minds. We will be back next year and stay in David's 3 bedroom unit also in Navy Cove.

Vacationing from Ohio

  • 4 of 5

We had an enjoyable stay at the condo at Navy Cove. David's instructions were easy to follow from finding the property to getting the keys. The units were well maintained and we had everything we needed in the unit. It was especially nice to have a washer and dryer to wash our things. While visiting we spent a lot of time walking on the beach, eating at restaurants like De Soto's and Tacky Jacks, and shopping for souvenirs at Souvenir City. The highlight was going to Orange Beach for a Dolphin Tour with Cold Mil Fleet. I highly recommend the dolphin tour. The only thing I would change is possibly fixing or replacing a freezer in the corner of the dining area because it made noises for our entire stay. The noises were not loud but a consistent clicking sound. That is minor compared to all of the pluses.

Owner's Response: Tammy, Thanks for the review. I went by the unit this weekend and someone had turned temp on freezer to -17 degrees. this was making it run continuously.
