About Claudia Laslie: Berkshire Rental Properties

Hello! I am Claudia Laslie, owner and creator of Berkshire Rental Properties, specializing in both long and short term vacation rentals, throughout the Southern Berkshires, since 2005. My role is to act as liaison between renter and homeowner and to assist the owner in preparing their rental so that renters have a wonderful experience and want to return to the Berkshires again and again.

I moved to Great Barrington in 2003 along with my two children who were quite young at the time. Looking to supplement my income, I would clean my house top to bottom, pack my kids into their car seats, and rent out my house for weekends. In talking about it with friends, one thing lead to another and before long I was helping others to do the same! My company has come a long way from those early vacation rental pioneering days... thank goodness. BRP provides seasoned guidance to both homeowners as they prepare their homes as well as to potential renters to help them find the best property that fits their needs. I also assist with long term rentals, both furnished and unfurnished.

I am a licensed MA real estate broker represented by Lance Vermeulen Real Estate Inc. If are ready to think about buying your first home, down-sizing your current, looking for an investment property (my specialty!) or finding that second home, I'd be happy to discuss your goals with you and go see some properties!

The Mission:

Berkshire Rental Properties aspires to deliver clean well-prepared homes, through honest advertising, to the mutual satisfaction of both homeowner and guest, by making meaningful connections.

Berkshire Rental Properties is a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Home Creative LLC.

Why Claudia Laslie: Berkshire Rental Properties chose Great Barrington

I chose to represent this adorable home because the owners have so lovingly prepared it for you. I love the quiet location in a sweet neighborhood, with beautiful mountain views from the back deck.

Ski Butternut is 1 mile away and the quiet yet in-town location is fabulous!

We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Laurel Cape. This home is perfectly cozy & very well equipped with everything you could need, including many cozy lap blankets & pillows for lounging the days of away, which is what we did for a week following Christmas. the fireplace makes for both a warm environ as well as beauty to the setting. as a cook, the kitchen is super efficient with all the basic needs and more. we enjoyed preparing many meals together with the fireplace glowing in the background.

we were three adults and the house allowed for us to mingle together & yet find private spots throughout the day. both bedrooms are very very comfortable with nice bedding & pillows et al.

it was just close enough to town & other shopping with a car. quiet neighborhood for strolling in the snowstorm with a delightful 'green bank' to lookout upon from the den in back of house. SUPER clean and well maintained. we will be back for sure & would recommend without any hestitation.

Cozy, well stocked house

  • 5 of 5

This was a darling house that fit our family of four perfectly. We loved the cozy gas fireplace. And the kitchen was very well stocked, which was great since we love to cook! The weather was pretty crappy (no fault of the house :)), but if it had been better I know we would have enjoyed the large yard and deck.

Perfect for our family

  • 5 of 5

We chose this home for its proximity with the Butternut ski area... knowing that, given the temperatures, we would not be able to ski and that the weather was really not going to be great we were worried about being stuck home with 3 little ones. But the house turned out to be perfect for us. Several little cozy rooms to play inside as well as a nice garden to be outside. We also enjoyed the Great Barrington public Library, the few easy treks (Bartholomew Cobble / Bash bish falls). We will definitely try to come back when the snow start falling !

Owner's Response: We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay! its unfortunate about the snow... but there are really fun things to do in the Berkshires year round and because its been so mild the hiking has been spectacular. Butternut and Catamount is making snow everyday. I have hope we will have a strong finish to the winter season! thank you for your review. claudia Laslie claudia@berkrentals.com berkrentals.com
