The back yard felt like a world away from the city. The hot tub was warm and you could cook anything you wanted in the kitchen. Overall we loved our stay

We loved Casa Rosa! So much wonderful artwork and colorful and comfortable furniture to stimulate the senses! Book shelves filled with interesting books (not that I had time to read any but their mere presence is comforting!). Kitchen well stocked, first time ever that I had a salad spinner at a VRBO! Hot tub perfectly heated to 103 degrees. Outdoor garden space quite verdant with lots of nice stonework. Only glitch we encountered was that we could not get the outdoor grill started, but made due pan frying our hamburgers.Location is terrific, between Thompson and Main Street and a little over a mile from downtown. It was just my husband and I so no problem with just one bath, but it would be tougher with two couples sharing the single small bath.We know we will be visiting again since our son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter live in Ventura, and hope that we can again stay at this unique and well maintained home!

Great place, good location in a very calm neighborhood (you most certainly need a car to go around though, but I think it’s the case pretty much everywhere in LA and around). Cozy and comfy, well equipped, the house is so big and full of charm and little quirky decorations, we loved it! Would have love to use the firepit but I understand thany guests can’t. Loved the hot tub though, so nice after a long day!
