Had a great week in Belfast! Close to many activities. Great communication! House has a beautiful view of the bay where you can watch the lobster boats, rowing teams and sail boats. The beach was fun to walk on. House was well equipped and we had all we needed for the week.

Very comfortable and well kept. Amazing ocean view and timeless setting. Really enjoyed meeting Dick Page and hearing about the history of Dreamlea. Would definitely consider another visit in the future.

Wonderful waterfront views and quite walkable to all the downtown restaurants and shops. Still retains several old cottage features, though, like a steep set of stairs to the second floor, a tight shower stall, some aging carpeting and paint and the laundry machines are down in a dark, low basement which we opted not to use and took ours to a laundromat in town instead. That said, the location and views are terrific so despite the quirks we’ll hope to return again.

We were a group of 80 year old friends who were happy to find a comfortable property with so few steps to the water. However, the steep steps inside the house were a challenge. Also having to navigate the basement steps to do laundry was a bit tricky. The deck was an amazing spot to watch boat activity, spotting seals, osprey, eagles and even a whale for the first time in our 50 years of Belfast vacations! Having the shade to retreat to was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed and the dining room/sunroom was perfect for our card game time. I especially appreciated the photos of the house and family gatherings in years gone by. Thank you for sharing the history.

This home was a dream come true for our vacation. The location is amazing. It is in a quiet neighborhood in Belfast. We were able to easily walk to a nearby park. While it is a bit further, we were also able to walk into Belfast to eat/shop. With a reasonable drive we were able to visit the Breakwater Lighthouse in Rockland, climb Mt Megunticook in Camden, and swim at Lincolnville Beach. We also visited Acadia, but it is a bit farther (1.5ish hrs) and needs some planning. The best part of the location is the bay. This home is right on the shore. We were able to drink our coffee on the deck each morning and watch boats going in and out of the harbor. The kids loved exploring during low tide. There is no AC, but the breeze from the ocean kept the house cool during our stay if that is a worry for you.Our hosts were wonderful and quickly responded to the few questions I had. Honestly, when I arrived I found that nearly every little thing had been thought of. When I go on vacation I always bring that box of things that you think you may need for the week at the house (cooking utensils, dish soap, hand soap, plastic wrap, etc...). I never unpacked most of it as our hosts had it waiting for us. They also have a guidebook with info about the house and the area and even provided reuseable bags to make the grocery store easier. 100% I would return to this home the next time my family visits Maine.
