Christopher's intent from the onset of the vacation was to not have to pay for it. After checking into the unit his wife arranged mats, towels, linens, and dirtied the fridge and sinks, in an effort to claim that the unit was not cleaned. Upon reporting this issue to me I immediately tried to correct the issue by sending staff members but was denied access to the unit. After calling VRBO and both of us speaking and attempting to resolve the issue I provided time stamped video and photos from directly before checkin as is our cleaning protocol to be prepared for travellers like you who attempt to get free vacations. VRBO did not side with you based on the evidence provided but I still offered to address the issue. Again, I was denied access to the unit. You continued to make up issues that did not exist and call VRBO every day but would deny access to the unit every time I tried to correct the issues you were reporting. At the end of all of this when you did not get any refunds you went home and disputed the credit card transaction for a stay which you most certainly did take. Your credit card company also did not side with you based on the evidence provided and ultimately released the funds back to us. It is very unfortunate to have guests like this in an industry that can be very challenging as it is. I hope that you will consider the damage you cause to communities and hosts by the actions you took on this vacation and do better in the future.
