Spacious 5-bedroom, beach-front family home with wrap-around deck in Ft Morgan

Leeward Beach House, located in Ft. Morgan, AL, is a dream. Our house rents for a week only, Saturday - Saturday. With 5 bedrooms including 1 king and 6 queen beds, guests will have plenty of space to unwind. Covered full deck with rocking chairs gives unobstructed views of the Gulf from the eastern to the western horizon. Walk off the deck right onto the beach - can't get any closer than here! All bedrooms are generous sizes, with the Master on the main floor, 2 full baths and a half-bath. Upstairs there are two large bedrooms, each with two queen beds - great for kids or separate families. There's a Jack & Jill bathroom (separate bathrooms and a shared shower/tub). Fully equipped kitchen with two ice makers, large dining area with a family table seating 10. Living room and all bedrooms have flat-screen TVs, free WiFi, streaming available. Lower deck is great for sitting too. Outdoor hot/cold shower right off the beach. Kickback, relax, and enjoy everything our house has to offer.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Local regulations require all trash to be in Baldwin County containers (provided) and placed on the street.
Dishes, utensils and cookware are to be cleaned and stored in cabinets. Refrigerator and freezer should be emptied of all food items.
Towels should be left inside a tub or shower. Bed linens should be left in place on the beds.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Grilling allowed only on the grill pad located on the west side of the open driveway. (Grill is not provided by Owner)
Do not rearrange or move furniture from their current rooms, the decks or take furniture onto the beach or into the water.
Please be polite to neighbors, keep outside/beach speakers and noise low and none after 9PM outside.

Our parents purchased this beach-front home in 1981. Hurricane Katrina took it and we rebuilt even better! It's our family home and we rent only to families. It's got a great lay-out for relaxing inside and out, reading on the covered decks, chasing the sun or taking a plunge in the surf... it's only few step to the surf. Perfect for families of 14 or less.

Why they chose this property

Surfside Shores is a great neighborhood for families. Many folks are permanent residents, and we pretty much know each other. We have no condos, nor any public beach access. Beach-front properties, like Leeward, have direct access to their own private beach area in front of the home. Owners and renters of properties not on the Gulf use two subdivision designated beach areas.

What makes this property unique

We're right on the beach, have a house-wide wrap-around deck allowing sun and shade throughout the day and shelter when it rains. Five spacious bedrooms, three on the main floor and two on the upper floor, each with its own private toilet and lavatory. Bathrooms on the main floor consist of two full baths, one with walk-in large shower, one a master bath and one a half-bath; upper flor has a Jack & Jill tub shower upstairs with two private toilet/lavs. A well-equipped kitchen, large dining area and table for 10 with another 3 at the kitchen bar. Dual ice makers, on-site laundry, upper and lower decks, covered picnic table downstairs, hot/cold private outdoor beach shower. Ample off-street parking for 5 autos. Spacious main room with two couches, two recliners and two Papa chairs and ottoman - plenty of room for movies and visiting. Soft pastel colors throughout and beach themed artwork throughout.
