Everything was fantastic and the host was very good at tending to our concerns. We slept ten people and we all were happy with the amount of space we had. It was nice to have the big community area to hang out in, or the front porch to enjoy some peace. So quiet and serene there, and pitch dark at night. Would stay again if we went back. Thank you!

Set on a beautiful property with green rolling hills and a pond, we were very happy to share this VRBO with the kids and grandparents for 5 days. Convenient to the main highway, yet set off and quiet. Especially loved breakfasts and coffee on the front porch, with beautiful morning sun and birds.

Great house and was stocked remarkably well. Extra things like paper towels, etc. were available. It has been nicely updated. The only downside was an unpleasant odor that we smelled as soon as walking in. Not sure exactly what the odor was but suspected maybe a drain issue. Notified host and received a quick response. Property is very convenient to Ark Encounter.

We loved everything about it. The layout and location was perfect. The drain in the main Bathroom was messed up, but everyone took showers (so it was okay).I was not sure if we needed to strip the beds, so we did. Also, we took out all our trash. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We would like to come again. It was especially nice to have my daughter experience the ARK.Thank youKen

This is a gem of a property with scenic views. Our kids had fun running up and down the hill to the pond and roasting marshmallows over the campfire. I highly recommend this property, especially for families.

Clean and quiet

House was very clean and cozy. It's located about 3 miles from the Arc Encounter. Very relaxing and nice. I would stay there again if in the area.

Place was clean and as advertised. Check in was frustrating. Did not receive any instructions and after long days drive spent 50 minutes on the phone trying to get someone to give us an entry code. Overall good just need better communication on check in day

Great getaway!

We came to visit the ark and relax. The surroundings were beautiful and the house was spacious and full of amenities. We highly recommend this vacation home for people of all ages! We plan to return with our grand children some time in the future.

This home is exactly as advertised. Clean and well stocked. The entire home was in working order and we had absolutely no complaints. If we ever return to the area, we will stay here again. It was great to stay in a home that was a bit off the highway and still had the country feel.

Kitchen is limited on pans, mixing bowls, spices. Wish there had been wood for the fire pit. The home is clean, updated, with plenty of room. The beds are comfortable.

Ark trip with friends

Property was just like pictured and described, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay The only thing we (all seniors) were disappointed in was the lack of eating places in area. Also the time that other places to visit opened, ( later in the day).

Comfortable home to stay in. Large and open living room and kitchen. The kids enjoyed the complimentary snacks and soda provided. Excellent communication from host.Beautiful wildflowers on the hillside leading down to the pond. We enjoyed watching the butterflies coming to the flowers.

We loved the layout of the house! The outside was beautiful with amazing views. The inside however had an odor, we had to buy air fresheners and that didn’t help cover the mildew/cat urine type smell. We also had an ant problem, while sleeping in the main bedroom we had ants crawling and biting us. The main bathroom had ants on the floor, tub, shower, sink, towels and any clothes. We had bites on our legs and arms and my son had bites on his face. The front door had a large gap on the bottom and you have to push to get it to lock or it keeps trying to auto lock. We also had to ask for check out details as we were sent none. If you have children and plan to have them sleep in the bunkbed know that the top bunk’s mattress is flush with the railing so it made it unsafe for our daughter to sleep on. The location is nice.

Just as described on listing. Large living room which allowed for kids to play. Limited pots and pans and no food storage items but we managed. Good communication from property manager throughout stay.
